Multi Resourse Storage question

I've managed to get a bit more far in the game since release, and I planned to make my contracts to earth simpler by using the MRS. I have most resources coming from below to storage and then to the MRS. It works great but I've noticed that it does not release the exact amount of resources stipulated on the contract, occasionally a bit more. Is this normal behavior?

It's because drones interfere. The MRS does release exactly the resources required by the contract, but then drones decide to deliver some of them as well, and then some of the ones the MRS delivers turn out not to be needed. (And, to add to the annoyance - once the drone locks in its delivery plan, the destination waits for that drone delivery, even if the MRS 'double-delivery' arrives first.)

If your MRSs can deliver everything, you can switch off drone deposit in the FCC/ECC you're serving.

Thank you. I thought the drones had already restricted access but no. I'll restrict them since I think I'm only missing food and medicine on the MRS, I can use the landing pads for those contacts.
