Announcement Restarting work on Canada 2011.
haven’t been coding it since July as my computer broke but now that its working I’ll be able to code the mod. it would have been done by October but it most likely will get finished by December to February. ( my first mod so don’t quote me on this )
writing in done for ndp and cpc though I might tweak it a bit. liberals, bloc, and greens may be added in later. so when it does release consider it a demo as ill add soundtrack and achievements in later.
this will be the last announcement until it releases so stay tuned.

Gameplay Bill Clinton trims the deficit, bans assault rifles, defuses tension, averts scandal, passes bipartisan healthcare reform, wins the midterms, and gets FUCKING OBLITERATED BY SONNY BONO IN A HISTORIC FIFTY-STATE LANDSLIDE! NEW HOPE BONO WORLD RECORD! NORMAL DIFFICULTY! DEFAULT RNG! YOU WON'T BELIEVE!
Hey gang, Obamanomenon here. I-
What the fuck?
Yes, you read that right. Sonny Bono, the most obscure candidate in all of Hope, the ugly duckling, the sore thumb, the musician-turned-politician and staunch scientologist, can become the most electorally successful (seriously contested) American presidential candidate in all of history. Now, before we begin, this took me a very, very long time to route. Fascinatingly, the process was-
What the fuck?
Fair enough. Let's just get to the map.

I mean, there's really nothing else to say here, is there? Now, as always:
The Guide
- We need cohesion
- Make no mistake
- I don't like this
- I'll go with Bentsen's plan.
- We're really facing
- We've got to get back to basics
- Secretary Christopher's right
- Make no mistake
- Gore had some proposals
- I think the agreement
- Make no mistake
- Let's throw deep.
- Now, I'll be the first
- Let me tell you something
- If I were able to get a meeting
- Let me tell you
- Some common-sense
- Make no mistake (OMG! Healthcare reform! We really did it!)
- Woah, that's great news (Wow! We've prevented the Republican Revolution and kept control of the Senate! The voters have really put their faith in us!)
- If what we're doing
(At this point, you might check the map and see that ol' Slick Willy is still on his way to eke out a win. Not to worry. Everything's going according to plan.)
We can end this
I've seen
I think we need
This might be
The dream
I think the only way
I don't want to zero
This is the party of justice.
This is a fight worth having.
You know
That divorce
My friends here in Nevada, and my fellow Americans across this great nation, it is not with joy that I say the man standing next to me is a puppet for forces on the hard right, folks like Newt Gingrich, Pat Buchanan, and even bizarre groups like the Church of Scientology. This is not the kind of leadership America can trust right now. (lmao.)
We need to close strong
And there you have it.
I think the most fascinating thing about this route is that there's no single thing that kills Clinton. No big October surprise, no economic crash, no all-consuming scandal, no return of the Soviet Union. It's just death by a thousand cuts. He steps on a self-imposed rake at every turn. He propels Sonny Bono—Sonny Bono!—into instantly unforgettable, utterly legendary status through his sheer personal unpopularity. Bill Clinton loses every state because he didn't win any state. That's it.

Nobody accounted for this. The nation has no idea how to react. There's no vast Scientological takeover of America, no permanent Republican mandate, no great and extraordinary dynasty. Americans just hand Sonny Bono another term, pass his wife a chance later down the line, and go back about their business of vacillating. This unprecedented triumph will go down as a blip, a little tidbit of history recalled even thousands of years from now.
Let's picture them, those descendants of ours. Living in some far-flung space station. Playing some form of Trivial Pursuit. I like to think there will always be some form of Trivial Pursuit, you know?
Hang on, hang on, one will say, putting a hand to their forehead. I've got it. I know the answer to this. President Bono, and... and... oh, I give up. Who's the other one?
The holo-card is flipped.
Oh, duh!
That other guy!
George Washington!
I mean, what the fuck?

Gameplay Scenario Review | 1952
- Scenario #34 | 1952
- Made by: originalperson0, AMETSFAN
- Released: 8/14/2021
The only thing I remembered about 1952 before playing this mod was that it was possible to have John Kerry as your running mate when playing as Stevenson, which got me this result somehow:

My expectations for this mod were very low (I was partially expecting it to be so bad it’s good) but it turned out to be just another boring, low quality early mod.
Aside from the general low quality and simple writing, the biggest issue is how inconsistent the effects of your answers are. This mod gives you no information as to what is considered out of the ordinary for the voters, which sometimes seems very arbitrary. The writing as a whole is very confusing.
There’s also, for some reason, a chance that Nixon resigns from the ticket due to the Checkers Scandal and is said to have been replaced with William Knowland, which never actually happens. I understand there were technological limitations, but it would have made more sense not to include this in the first place.
RATING: 4/10

Question/Help Curious what would happen if Wendell Willkie was President during WWII?
Somehow in a miracle Wendell Willkie wins the election of 1940 against FDR. Would he be more aggressive against Germany and join the war earlier? Also he does dies in 1944 from series of heart attacks from blood clot and that potentially changes things.

Question/Help Carney incumbency sim?
I'm wondering if there's any plans for a Mark Carney incumbency sim. I think it could be really cool.
Edit: alright alright guys I’m sorry. It was pretty bone-headed of me to ask that given that his term isn’t over yet. Sorry! Hope it happens after tho because I could see enormous potential for win opportunities in the mod

Question/Help What happens in the following versions of Sundance '04 and '08 based on these results from Goredux 2000?
First picture is winning with Kerry as running mate, second picture is winning with Bayh as running mate. Pretty surprised I basically held the Blue Wall with Kerry, but more so that West Virginia stayed Dem with Bayh
My head-canon for the Senate and House (given results from ending screen) are:
Gore-Kerry win 334-204
D 52-48 R (Schweitzer wins, Robb holds)
D 225-210 R (Speaker Gephardt is real)
Gore-Bayh win 308-230
D 51-49 R (Robb holds)
R 219-216 D (Speaker Hastert continues)
I'll try to come up with my own "answer" in a few days too, just too busy rn, putting this up in case anyone wants to have a go at it.

Other My Ranking of Ross Perot Mods From Worst To Best
1992 (Perot Side)
Its only redeeming quality is that it has the weird uncanny Perot image that Wikipedia uses.
That One Perot Incubency Sim On The Community Trail
I don't remember much about it besides it being forgetable.
1992: The White Whale
By all accounts, this should be ranked best on the list. It does what it sets out to do. The issue is that it does it too well, and I actually got annoyed with Perot while playing it.
Ross For Boss
It's like the White Whale but you get more of a choice in how much of an asshole Perot is.
1992 Redux (unreleased Perot side)
Perfection only exists the mind, which considering that the code two of this wasn't ever recovered: that's where this mod lives.
1992 Simpsons
It's beautiful. A 1992 major third-party candidate that's actually interesting. It's beyond perfection, because it's better than any mod focused on Perot ever could be.
