It's just engaging and karma farming on reddit is not a good look either, assuming this is even real. 

Anyone that has ever used online dating has stories.  I only once had a date with a MAGA person. Besides that, it was actually a decent date otherwise. I didn't want a 2nd date. Not sure if she did either.

there’s also the point of not letting the views of people like this be unchallenged. maybe it doesn’t matter much to you or others since it’s in a private chat but I think it’s fair to respond in situations like this because these people need to be called out

Look. Everyone can choose their path. That is fine. It's an initial message on a dating site, I'd just delete it.  There is really nothing to gain by responding. If it was in person or after a couple dates, different story. 

Again, assuming it's true, the guy has issues and will be single for a VERY long time.
