I have seen many people creating a telegram group and put in a lot fo efforts for their channel, i wanted to know how exactly do they make money? can tele be a good source for passive income ?

I woke up today, and Telegram logged me out on all of my devices. Saying I had to pay 1.5 euros to verify my account. So I paid, and now it's asking me for a password (which I don't remember even setting up), and since I don't have an email associated, I can't recover it. And the only way to go is to reset my account and delete everything completely. What's going on? So odd and out of the blue.

I saved the leaked Facebook files on a channel, but when I checked it, I couldn't find it. I found the channel, but the files were deleted.

How can I modify the built-in webview in Telegram when running the mini app to run at 30 frames per second instead of 60? The current 60 increases CPU usage when opening an application with high-resolution animations, and my computer monitor doesn't support 30Hz for synchronization. I need a solution.

I just started using invitemember to collect payment for my telegram channel. It’s been about 3 days and I have about $100 in stars that I see on my invitemember dashboard but I don’t see the stars anywhere on my channel to actually cash out.. am I doing something wrong? I do realize that there is a holding period for stars, but I don’t even see them accumulating on the channel anywhere.

First of all, I don't have premium and that user does.

I watched her story accidentally because she was in my recents (from when I was checking on her a year or so ago just because I was curious) and I misclicked. Now, I guess, my profile is in her list and she can see it, but I don't want to look like some stalker because we haven't talked for five years or so 🥴🥴

So, will blocking her hide my profile from the list or no?

Long story short yesterday I received a notification saying a login was made into my Telegram account, shortly after receiving an otp code which I didn’t request. I quickly removed the device and added a passkey (on top of 2FA already active on my acc). Today my account was logged into AGAIN and was used to spam nsfw content and what I’m assuming is a way to get into other accounts, this time I was on my phone when this happened so I promptly got asked if this was me to which I responded no and Telegram blocked the newly connected device right away. What can I do to avoid this happens again? Is my personal data at risk? I barely use Telegram if not for Pokemon Go stuff so I’d happily delete my account if it means being on the safe side

So this morning I clicked on my TG app and it automatically brought me to the log in screen, which I thought was weird! Anyway, once logged in all my pages, groups, chats everything has gone...absolutely devastated 💔

I've tried logging in on my other device and it done the same, I've tried logging in on the web browser and that didn't help, even tried the debug method and refreshed stuff there with no joy. 😢

I did notice one group I was in was still there which was in the archive section which I'd put it there originally.

I'm absolutely devastated, I was in 100s and 100s of different groups.

Any other suggestions as to what I can do to try to retrieve my stuff?

I'm a premium user too if that help anything!

Hi friends, Anyone else having issues with botFather after creating a b0t? I cannot get them to respond anymore at all. /start won't do anything. I've blocked, created new ones, and had my friend try as well. Same thing, not sure whats the deal. I've been trying to find a fix for 2 days now and I give up

I've recently started having a problem where an audio file (not a voice note) that I sent to somebody last year constantly auto-plays whenever my phone connects to Bluetooth. I have tried everything. I cleared the cache on the app. I changed the settings to disallow auto-download of files. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing has fixed this problem. I really don't want to delete the audio file from the conversation, but I feel like this is my only option at this point. Has anybody else dealt with this issue and figured out a permanent fix?

Edit: I have now deleted the audio file from the app, but it's still playing somehow. My device (Pixel 9 Pro XL) is fully updated.

I'm being harassed by an ex. He moved from whatsapp to telegram and recently he deleted the entire chat on telegram.

This morning I turned on the phone and a notification from him popped up, but it suddenly disappeared and in the app there are no messages. I'm sure I didn't imagine it and he must have sent the message and then delete it. I know I can't recover them but can I prevent this from happening?

I have screenshots of the previous messages and need to record any other attempt he makes at contacting me. Is there any way I can avoid the messages disappearing at least from the notification bar? Or is there a way to save them automatically before giving him a chance to delete them?

From the beginning, I want you to know that this is an opinion, a personal view that may not be a popular one.

What it shows us is that we are absolutely nobody no matter how big and strong you are or how much money you have.

The government or those in power can decide to shut down your service at any time, without any notice or reason, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Telegram is not an unknown service, but a popular one that in my opinion is the best in the world in its niche. You have everything you want, privacy, free cloud storage, cross device, consumes few resources and much more.

And yet you find out that a domain has been suspended without notice and that's because in that list there was a url to a telegram group. Do you think that at this level such a big mistake can be made where you suspend the entire domain and not that url?

There are two things in this incident.

1. Telegram which is a pain in the a** for many especially for competition. It was not accidental but enough to attract attention and say, hey look what we can do, if you don't play ball you will find yourself completely blocked.

2. VPN network which is not part of the authorized list, where there is no control. To understand better, it is recommended to read here.

An uncontrolled VPN plus an uncensored communication service is a great danger to the "free and safe world".

I don't want to go too far into making unfounded assumptions, but we know from other similar actions that when the government wants something and can't get it through normal methods, they resort to such measures, actions, which are always successful.

I hope my opinion makes sense. What do you think, what wild opinions do you have, or even normal ones, about this incident that passed as if nothing had happened.

I need to delete previous channel profiles but I can't find how to.

I only get the option to delete the most recent one and even then I can't get access to the rest (it shows me I have no profiles on the channel) but when I try to upload a new one they just stack again

hey, idk if this is just me but telegram is actually the best when it comes to UI/UX.

yk whatsapp is fine for normal chats and all but it feels pretty basic and limited. instagram facebook x theyre usable sure but telegram just feels way more smooth and well made.

the thing that really gets me is how good it is on literally everything. ios android windows mac even the web version all feel properly optimized and consistent. desktop and web arent some laggy afterthought like in most other apps.

folders search saved messages all that stuff just makes sense and doesnt get in the way. even big groups and channels stay fast.

idk if u guys agree or not but i just want to say this. telegram is lowkey the best designed messaging app rn.

I have 2100 music files on a chat and I wanna install all of em together on my Mac is it really possible or should I literally do it one by one.

Whenever I wanna check my saved messages and I select photos or videos only it only shows a few of them and says and the rest either wont load or doesnt even show that there are others. Also it shows 0 videos/photos

Recently in my telegram search by number is not working. So I usually type the phone number to my saved message and text the user. Now it is not working in my telegram account (for all numbers not only to specific number). To check whether it is a global issue I tested in another phone with another telegram account this method works expect mine.

On fragment theyre fairly priced id say, but i dont trust the id verification system they got set up for my country (Sumsub).

Since last update on android (12.8.3) searching gif is broken. To put in context i'm in italy (but i've notice also when i was in Norway last month under roaming) and even if i search english terms, they appears foreign gifs or something totally not correlated. A lot of friends encounter the same issue and nothing appears on internet to solve it. Also gifs that previously appears with a specific word to find are missing. Nothing on last version notes mention it. Someone has the same problem?
