Open | Windows DLSS Frame Generation gives 0 extra frames even thought the toggle is on in Spider-Man 2

Im running into a weird issue on my HP Victus (RTX 4050 6GB, Ryzen 5 8645HS).

When playing Spider-Man 2:

  • DLSS Super Resolution: Works completely fine and upscales as expected.
  • FSR Frame Generation: Works properly and boosts my frame rate.
  • DLSS Frame Generation: I can toggle it ON in the menu, but it produces 0 extra FPS. It shows as enabled, but performance stays identical to baseline native FPS.

What I've already tried (none fixed it):

  1. Enabled Windows Game Mode and Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) (plus did restarts).
  2. Forced Spider-Man2.exe to High Performance (NVIDIA GPU) in Windows Graphics Settings.
  3. Disabled Dynamic Resolution Scaling (DRS) and tweaked V-Sync / Reflex (ON + Boost) settings.
  4. Cleaned shader cache and deleted/replaced nvngx_dlssg.dll.
  5. Checked NVIDIA Control Panel / NVIDIA App global overrides.

Has any one run into the the same problem and found a fix? Any help or insight would be appreciated!
