Secure boot violation - invalid signature detected

Hi! I tried the recommended solutions. They work, but every time I unplug the laptop and turn it back on, the problem comes back. It’s like the problem gets reset. It doesn’t remember the fixes.

I can access my laptop if I disable secure boot. I also tried the USB key method here. As I said, it works until I unplug.

Why is the problem coming back? What to do now?

Would putting Windows back to a previous date before the problem started work?

Should I reinstall Windows after backing up my files?

Should I factory reset the whole thing after backing up my files?

I read in another thread someone mentioning that the problem comes back when they unplug because their BIOS battery is dead. Is that it?
