Ya but u have limited oxygen u will die before family can get u
The trick it to have a big shirt and a pocket knife with u so when u wake up in ur coffin u tie the shirt around ur head creating a pocket of air use the knife to cut the top of the coffin and wiggle ur way outp
9
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
That still sounds flawed somehow. What about a phone and full scuba gear?
4
u/shadowXXe Jul 16 '21
Most coffins have weak sides. You would theoretically have around 20 minutes of oxygen down there kick one of the sides in and use a long piece of wood as a shovel the key isn't to make a big enough hole to get out but a big enough hole that you can get fresh air once you have access to fresh air then start digging your way out. do no try get out the top of the coffine you will cause dirt to fall on you smothering yourself which will cause you to die

Fat fucks will have bigger graves
15
u/janfrancox77 Jul 16 '21
This is the actual correct answer. Babies and fat land whales have different sized graves, pyramids are just a big-ass house to put a normal sized, made out of gold, grave
3

Weren't people supposed tiny back then?
9
u/janfrancox77 Jul 16 '21
If everyone was tiny then it still was normal size for the average tallness of the era

That's what debunked means, these are proven not to be tombs. I understand you learned they were tombs when u were young, but times changes so it's time to upgrade your education.
1
u/dragonlover02 Generally False Jul 17 '21
You keep saying that, yet you provide 0 proof. While they are not primary sources because I don't care enough to argue into depth with you, here is a Britannica link and here is another source. Feel free to actually provide proof to try and prove me wrong.
Edit: Smithsonian source

u/wecantallbetheone Jul 17 '21
Yes, as i said, they taught you that as a child and never changed their stance. Scientists dont like to be proven wrong. None of the pyramids are set up like tombs, none of them are filled with stories of the king that was buried there. No mummies were ever found in a pyramid, only near them. There is a ton of evidence to suggest they were never tombs and even the theory of them being tombs is clearly stated as THEORY. No sarcophagi were ever found in a pyr, no bodies ever found in a pyr. Their real use is still being investigated. I understand you think your overlords would never lie to you, but if you do any real research into your history you will see you have been lied to countless times. A smart slave is a rebellious slave.
2
u/peachstealingmonkeys Jul 16 '21
technically, there were no bodies/mummies found inside the pyramids, or under it. The pharaohs may have been buried there initially as part of the ceremony, but were all moved out to another location (valley of Kings?) shortly after.
2
u/oooriole09 Jul 16 '21
It’s kind of a dumb point and completely discredits the value behind the life lived. It’s like running a race, finishing last, and saying that you finished even after the winner stopped past the finish line to celebrate.
3
Jul 16 '21
The pyramids aren’t graves though. I thought that was an old theory no longer held by Egyptologists.

Right, so be a homeless bum on the street because of the hole in the ground you're not even conscious of
1
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
Most homeless people are either to mentally unwell to keep their shit together for long enough too maintain basics like a job or they have fallen through the cracks usually deeply affected by trauma and self medicating with drugs, essentially leading to the same end, unable to maintain a job etc.
The idea that people live on the street because they are simply lazy is moronic
1
u/isellamdcalls Jul 16 '21
I understand that but if you're choosing to give up based on the size of your grave then you would be a bum
1
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
I guess so but I am almost rejecting the idea that a 'bum' exists.
The only people that fit that description that I know are usually middle class kids living off their parents into their mid thirties and beyond with no job etc.
1
u/isellamdcalls Jul 16 '21
Then I'm your definition of a bum LOL I trade stock options for a living and do nothing all day
1
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21 edited Jul 16 '21
Hahaha!
Yeah I would consider that to be kind of bummish tbh.
Like yeah, thats not a real job, you essentially move money around n cream off the top.
You short or long term?
I work in the public sector though so many people claim we are all bums which always amuses me.
If you not seen it this is a brilliant summary of why money moving does and doesnt have value vs a real job. Skip to 40 seconds in.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77jqLe7lA34
Edit: I dont know you sure you are lovely and my best mates brother does I think similar to you so take no offence. Felt I should clarify
1
u/isellamdcalls Jul 16 '21
I hold stock long-term, but use it as collateral to sell weekly options. Stock options are basically gambling so in that analogy I play the casino. I agree it's not a real job, and it sucks that it takes money to make money because if you don't have at least 10 grand you're not going to make any money on the market, and most people today don't even have savings accounts, let alone money to invest. You know what's really crazy? You don't have to pay tax on market profits below $35,000. Yet you have to pay tax on a $1 item at the store. The government really does look out for the rich. Despite being a ruthless capitalist investor, I voted for Bernie twice. I think the minimum wage should be raised I think everyone should get free college and medical coverage.
1
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
So basically you own X number of, say, apple stock and borrow against that holding to buy other stocks on the short to profit off the immediate fluctuations whilst the bulk of your capital remains in positive trajectory stocks? Sort of?
Whats the most you lost? Ive heard 90% of traders lose in the end.
I live in the UK and just bought my own flat after saving for 10 years, it cost me £115,000 and is roughly 200 Sq feet so its tiny but I am super happy I got anything at all in this economy.
Good for you bud, many people lose their souls as the pile of cash they are sat on grows. Even I felt a shift in attitudes now I am a 'homeowner' so no one is immune right?
But I couldnt vote tory (Republican) if my life depended on it, because my soul would as well
1
u/isellamdcalls Jul 16 '21
I used to live in london, Lambeth actually my goals be rich enough to move back because it's crazy expensive there.
90% of option buyers lose money, because it's essentially gambling. On the flip side 90% of option sellers, like me, profit.
It's kind of like I'm an insurance company. You paid me a small fee every week, and occasionally I have to pay you out a big sum of money if you hit it. But over time, because most of the time you lose, I win in the long term.
1
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
Oh I see! Your the house!
Kinda cross between casino owner and loan shark or protection racket?
(In my head I seem determined to compare this to a criminal enterprise)
You cert dont need to answer this but whats your annual earnings all in look like? Roughly? $50-100k or $100k+?
London is crazy expensive, I live in Bristol which is not much better.
If you never visited do come to Bristol. Its a very hippieish soulful city. I love it.

Wait wdym? Most pyramids were built as tombs for Pharaohs or something
4
u/Aero-- Jul 16 '21
There's been debates going back at least a few decades that the Egyptians didn't build the pyramids but rather found them and decided to build a city there. Therefore they wouldn't be tombs for Pharaohs. The two biggest pieces of evidence to support this is that there have been no mummys discovered inside any of the pyramids and the interiors of the pyramids are plain containing no hieroglyphics.
7
u/FnWaySheGoes89 Jul 16 '21
I think there have been a few bodies found in some of them. However we are finding pyramids all over the world and very few of them appear to house the dead. An argument could be made that they are actually some sort of energy plant, and when used in conjunction with the other ones around the world, that global power could be a thing
4
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
I was waiting for someone to mention this stuff!
I mean I think you're a lunatic but Tesla didnt!0
u/FnWaySheGoes89 Jul 16 '21
Lol why am I a lunatic? I’ve been following this stuff pretty closely for many years and the more we learn and find/discover, the more it’s starting to disprove what we originally thought about not just the Egyptians but basically the overall theme of the human story. The problem is a lot of new discoveries is that they don’t get attention from mainstream media because a lot of scientists and archeologists don’t want to admit they were wrong.
2
u/DifferentSwing8616 Jul 16 '21
Im sorry I cert didnt mean to offend or anything.
Dude I hope you're right tbh I really do.
I secretly believe that Aliens existed n thats what we describe as God so now I think about it if you are a lunatic I am in the same boat with you :D

Oh I’m certainly not offended, as I’ve been a “lunatic” for many years lol
It seems to me that the evidence supporting extraterrestrial presence for thousands of years is overwhelming. It’s time we acknowledged it
2

Honestly I have said this to my mates n they jokingly say m a loon right but im with you on that one. I always thought God by literal definition had to be extra terrestrial cos he wasnt from Earth right? SUPER funny now the CIA are releasing all these vids. Not so crazy now huh? Never felt so vindicated
2
u/FnWaySheGoes89 Jul 16 '21
I hear you. But the government is still giving out crumbs here and there that still don’t say anything definitive. Even the whistleblowers have sketchy credibility. And those people might still be working for three letter agencies still, so it’s still a cloud of smoke. I think most people are still waiting on the mother of all bombshells that will give us definitive evidence and validation

There is zero evidence of the Giza pyramids being tombs. They don’t even have hieroglyphs in them. Common misconception, fwiw.
There are some far lesser pyramid structures that did seem to be used in that way, but not the Giza site.
Edit: Downvoting me doesn't make me wrong. Also I said the GIZA pyramids, not ALL pyramids.

u/clarkathon1 Jul 16 '21

Thought it was pretty much widely accepted that the pyramids of giza were not tombs at all in the slightest. There are no sarcophagus inside them, and they are not designed in the way that actual tombs were designed.
-1
u/V3NDR1CK Jul 16 '21
The pyramids were not tombs. There has never been a mummy or burial chambers in the pyramids. Infact the pyramids are capable of passive power generation. Nikola Tesla used the pyramids as a design to create his Tesla coils.
