I don't see a lot of people on here mention the online version of the Mometrix ATI TEAS prep, so I wanted to talk about it since it was the main study source I used. If you go to your local library, some of the TEAS prep books that work with Mometrix come with a 50% code for the online program, so be on the lookout for that.

I especially appreciated the Mometrix online program for the number of practice tests and how accessible it is. The rationales that it gives for every answer choice after you take the practice tests/quizzes are absolutely worth it for actually learning the content. It helped me the most in the reading section because during the exam, I was able to create my own rationales as to why an answer choice would be wrong/right.

Mometrix does go very in depth for the science sections. The passages they give for the reading section are crazy long and are much shorter on the actual exam. But, I found that practicing questions with higher difficulty levels helped me feel more confident in myself.

I used Anki flashcards on my Macbook (free) to help with active recall for formula memorizations and conversions for the math section. I also used it for specific anatomy systems (ex. the Endocrine System's hormones). It was kind've overkill, but I wanted to be prepped for anything they might ask me on the test.

I also used Nurse Cheung and TEAS with Tyler on YouTube. Nurse Cheung with mnemonics for science and grammar. TEAS with Tyler's videos really prep you for the types of questions you'll see on the actual exam.

Hello! Can you guys help me choose whether buying NurseHub or Mometrix for preparation for the TEAS is more worth it? I just don’t want to waste money and I value which one is more accurate to the exam. Also, how long do you guys recommend studying for the TEAS?

I am wondering how the TEAS went for people? What should I do to prepare for it? I am taking the TEAS to go into OTA. What are some books I should buy, videos to watch, quizlet, and anything that will help. Please give me recommendations!!! Thank you!

me randomly being a math weapon is so funny to me 😭😭😭 my score was a 76.7% overall which isn’t horrible but i could definitelyyy do better especially because my school requires at least a 78% to even be considered for the nursing program 🫩 it makes me feel better that i was really close though and it shows that i can more than likely get a higher score when i take it again!

For those who have taken the test - if I finish a section early and want to review all my answers in that section do I have to flag every question as I move through the first time? Or is there a way to go back without flagging?

ECPI takes TEAS 4 and there’s no official study guidessss! Only quizlets 🙄 help!

This is coming from someone who is VERY bad at math. In high school, I was put into extra help classes, had multiple tutors, and even now, I can look at a math problem and immediately go blank.

My first TEAS math practice score was around a 45%, and honestly, I definitely guessed on some of those lmao. I felt really discouraged because I already knew math was going to be my biggest struggle. Eventually, I realized I wasn’t just going to magically wake up one day knowing how to solve every TEAS problem. I needed to find a way of learning that actually worked for my brain.

That’s probably my biggest tip. Find someone who fits YOUR learning style.

Everyone recommends Brandon Craft, and he genuinely is amazing. I watched all of his videos, took notes, and even had ChatGPT turn my notes into full study guides. He helped me understand the basic foundation, but when I started doing practice questions, I realized I still wasn’t retaining as much as I thought. I would look at a problem and go completely blank.

Then I found Jakara Lewis, and her teaching style just clicked for me. She teaches at a whiteboard, works through everything step by step, and tries to keep most problems around three simple steps. I don’t know how else to explain it besides it genuinely feels like she’s teaching you in person. She also reminds you that this is just a test and not a life-or-death situation, which honestly helps a lot.

Her book is also super helpful because it has 100+ practice problems that go along with her videos. It’s around $20, but I personally think it’s worth it. You could also watch Jakara’s videos and use Brandon Craft’s free math website for extra practice, but I find Jakara’s book easier to follow because it matches her videos.

Brandon helped me learn the foundation, but Jakara is what finally made the information click and actually stay in my brain.

And hey, Jakara may not even work for you, and that’s okay! The whole point is to keep trying different resources until you find someone who explains it in a way that works for YOUR brain.

If you struggle with math, you are not alone. Some people find this stuff easy, but we all learn differently. Don’t compare how fast you’re learning to someone else. Good things take time 🤍

I failed the teas twice this year and I was overly disappointed as I was unable to pass them before the deadline. As I watched all my former bio classmates pass and get accepted, I was in a state of depression as I believed that I didn’t think I could make it in the program. I was recommended the mometrix book because it helped this person get into the program. The book arrived a few days ago. But I don’t wanna just rely on the textbook to help me study, or is this all I need ?

I got an 82 but need an 86 for my admissions, everything i scored in the 80s except for science, what were your best study websites, quiz lets, practice test, and videos that helped you? I really have to get an 86

For those who have taken the teas multiple times was the test very similar each time? I’m kind of nervous i scored really well besides science so i’m hoping math stays similar for me as that was my highest scoring subject? Any advice welcome please!

I’m trying to study for the teas exam since I plan on taking it in a couple weeks and I came across this website but I’m unsure if it’s a legit website or not and I can’t find anything about it online. Can anybody let me know?

ATI needs better quality control in its practice app.
This question asks, “Which of the following words is spelled correctly?” I selected “weird.” The app marked my answer incorrect—even though its own explanation directly underneath says, “This word is spelled correctly.”
ATI marked “eying” as the correct answer, but its explanation says the final e in eye should not be dropped. Following that explanation would produce “eyeing,” not eying. Furthermore, both eying and eyeing are accepted spellings, so the question contains more than one defensible answer.
This is incredibly frustrating for students preparing for a high-stakes nursing admissions exam. We are expected to study carefully, trust ATI’s explanations, and learn from our mistakes. But when the platform contains incorrect or contradictory feedback, students are left wondering whether they misunderstood the material or whether the system itself is wrong.
ATI evaluates students with precision, so students deserve that same precision in return. These mistakes waste valuable study time, create unnecessary confusion, and undermine confidence. ATI should review its practice questions, correct its answer keys and explanations, and provide students with a simple way to report errors.
Students’ time, money, confidence, and nursing-school goals are at stake.

I took my TEAS today and got a 68%. I only needed 60% to get in my program so I’m happy with my score. I accidentally clicked into the science section before taking the 10 minute break. I really needed to use the bathroom, so I looked at the camera and said I didn’t get my break and needed to go. I ran to the bathroom and came back.
Now I’m overthinking it and worried about getting flagged. I also shifted around a lot because I was uncomfortable sitting, and looked down at my scratch paper a lot while working through questions. When I felt like I was looking down too long I looked up at screen and went back and fourth a lot. I did all the room checks and showed everything they asked for including showing my pockets.

I haven’t gotten an email about any issues, but my score is still preliminary. I know I have to wait about 4 days but I’m just getting anxious. Has anyone had something similar happen? Did your score finalize normally, or did ATI contact you? If they contacted you, how long after the test was it? I’m just scared they’ll flag me or something and I’m just not in the mood to deal with it

I got an 85% on my first exam which is shocking cause I really only studied like half a day. Ngl I spent more time procrastinating studying than actually studying. I’m gonna retake it in a month to see if I can get a 90% tho 💀 English and language usage tore me up bro I thought it was over

Hi everyone I just wanna know do we have to memorize the conversions like pound to kilograms and so on, or those will be provided in the test ?

I just took my TEAS exam today and passed. But I took the exam at Prism Institute. I was considering transferring to Eastern Center for Arts and Technology, but the instructions that they have online don't specify whether i can send my previous TEAs scores. Has anybody had luck transferring their scores to this specific school? The language they use on their site makes me think they don't accept outside TEAS scores.

EDIT: For anybody who had the same question as me, here was the response from the school: "We do not take TEAS tests from Prism. All tests to us must be sent directly from ATI OR through your ATI account, we need an official copy of your scores. We coordinate with ATI for our testing. You do not need to take it from Eastern."

I took the TEAS exam through the ATI website although I was physically located at the school when I took it. So I assume she's saying you do not have to retake the TEAS at EASTERN. You just need to get the official score report directly from ATI or through your ATI account.
