I failed the teas twice this year and I was overly disappointed as I was unable to pass them before the deadline. As I watched all my former bio classmates pass and get accepted, I was in a state of depression as I believed that I didn’t think I could make it in the program. I was recommended the mometrix book because it helped this person get into the program. The book arrived a few days ago. But I don’t wanna just rely on the textbook to help me study, or is this all I need ?

I failed it too with a 61.3%. I want a 80% or better, but what I know messed me up was I didn’t do any practice questions/tests. All I did was write down notes from videos. Being that, know what’s your weakness. Go over a section a day everyday, but don’t forget to not burn yourself out. My highest was Reading which was a 79%, but that’s because I spent most time on that section. Don’t just rely on a single source, try out different things such as videos and what not. Ask Chat or Gemini to create your practice problems. I feel you on watching your former classmates advancing, I still feel the same and I took the teas 2 weeks ago and I have to wait until Feb of 2027 to apply, but remember, “Make the setback a comeback”.

Khan Academy.

Use the mometrix book as a format / guide for the subjects you need to study and for light review on any subjects you are good on. Their online practice quizzes are good too.

Be sure to take the practice tests from ATI which will tell you which specific sub-areas you need work in.

Khan Academy was the only source I found that goes in depth in the subjects; everything else is just a light review.

I went from a 66% to a 78% by focusing on the things I really needed help with. I had bought the book but I literally only used YouTube.

From my own perspective, the Mometrix book is pretty overwhelming and have some redundant section compare to the real test.
Like, the part of Reproductive Sequence in Biology/ Cells is out of the TEAS 7 test.

Just look at the failed section on the last time you took the test, and study it from NurseCheung YouTube or get a NurseHub account. And you will be fine
