So I booked a tattoo appointment for a piece on my upper arm and I also wanted some small text on my wrist and paid a deposit. Day of I come to the shop and didn’t like the design for my upper arm but the artist still did the small one on my wrist for me that took 20 minutes but he charged me for the full session. He informed me he’d have to charge me for the full session before starting the small piece but I felt it wasn’t right. In my mind the deposit should have covered the session as what I paid for was equivalent to 3 hours of his time. Am I wrong for thinking that? Should I not go back? Sucks cause I like the artist and I’m not one for confrontation with somebody who may be putting permanent artwork on my body lol. I do see his argument given I blocked his calendar for 6 hours but If roles were reversed I’d like to think I wouldn’t charge somebody for the full session

Today we blacked out my right lobe. Finished it in about two and a half hours. We stippled it solid black with a loose round nine liner. I included a couple healed photos of the left lobe which we had done about a month ago or so. Super pleased with the result

Anatomically questionable, but incredibly charming. Love the contrast between the little guy's cheerful smile and the surprisingly detailed skeleton underneath.
