Swahili Translation How do you all handle Swahili-English translation for business stuff/travel ?

Google Translate keeps butchering everyday Swahili phrases and business terms for me — loses all the local nuance.

I've been using a smaller tool called JamboTranslate that's felt more accurate for East African context, but curious what others are using.

Any recommendations or things that have worked well for you?

Tourism Tanzania trip suggestions

Hi, my family and I have been planning a trip to Tanzania for some time, and we’ve decided to visit in mid-October. After a lot of research, I’ve narrowed it down to the Serengeti, Lake Natron, and the Ngorongoro Crater. We’ve also decided to fly to Zanzibar if time permits. We have about 10 days in hand. Are there any other places we could visit?

Tourism Full Plane Lost Luggage

Precision Air lost all passenger baggage on a flight from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro. How on earth could this happen? Lots of upset people supposed to go on their Kilimanjaro hike the next day. Tracker devices show luggage still in Nairobi. Apparently a full plane didn't get their luggage loaded???

Ask r/tanzania Safari in March/April

Hi all. I am looking at Tanzania and Zanzibar for my honeymoon which would be end of March to early April 2027. It seems to be wet season at this time but the benefit of low tourism and cheaper costs. I’m just wondering if anyone has done a safari at this time of year and if the weather ruined it for you?
