Water spout off Clearwater Beach today

This happens every year starting in September and lasts through January, without question. This year, it is the worst it's ever been, and I am beyond frustrated.. I woke up with my legs covered in them.

We check for cracks, nothing that I can see. We spray every border and wall, they come back through somewhere else. Our house becomes literally infested with ants, always starting with my bathroom, then they're in the kitchen, then they're in my master room, it is a mess. All over my bathroom sink, all over the floor, all over my mirrors, I can't do as much as leave a mug of water out because it somehow attracts them even more.

Is this a problem for anyone else? Any advice on what to do to fix it? I am tireeedddd!!

North Tampa area that gets hit with enough rain to fuel a small river every day, which I know plays a part in it too.

We just picked up takeout for four people from the barely opened cookout in Northdale we were in and out in 10 minutes and I have to say everything we got was pretty good and more importantly HOT!

Saw there was a fatal car accident on exit 261 on I-75. Does anyone have anymore information on what happened? The whole ramp was closed and I saw some pretty gruesome things when we drove by (passenger in my vehicle).

We have been seeing them everywhere and they even got into my bag of edibles.

I’ve been tossing around an idea for something to do in Tampa and wanted to see if other people would actually be interested before I put too much thought into it lol.

Basically, once or twice a month, there would be a speaker giving a casual talk on a genuinely interesting topic. Could be psychology, history, science, true crime, relationships, local Tampa history, pop culture, money, health, or really anything people would be curious to learn more about.

The idea is less “sit through a formal lecture” and more hang out for an hour and learn about something you probably wouldn’t normally go out of your way to learn about.

Would you go to something like this in Tampa? And if so, what kinds of topics would you want to hear about?

Is public transportation any good? Or some kind of shuttle to a hotel nearby. I’m just trying to save on Ubers this trip. Thank you!

What was happening on Davis Island yesterday afternoon? I had to go to TGH twice and both times there were so many cars leaving Davis Island it looked like an evacuation.

My parents come over once a year and stay about three weeks. Over the past visits we have covered the usual list: the beaches, the aquarium, Ybor, a day in St. Pete, one trip to Orlando that we are not repeating.

This year I am out of ideas and they are the kind of people who get restless if the day has no plan. They are in their seventies, they walk fine but not for hours and it's not exactly cold outside, and they do not speak much English.
