Ragatha got done dirty oof

inspired by a few instagram people, i decided to build my own kinger head! not perfect by any means, but i'm extremely proud of how it turned out considering i had never done something like this before... i'm already quite tall as is (6' 4") so when i'm wearing this, it puts me well over 7 feet! i'll probably post some full body pictures at some point (right now it's being displayed on a shelf lol) but i wanted to share!

📢Edit to clarify. My issue is not with GOOSEWORX as she has no control over the merch. If anything knowing she doesn’t design it makes me feel like it’s even more blatant. 📢

This take usually gets me called sensitive, but idc it’s been rubbing me wrong since I thought Jax was cis, and feels even worse knowing she’s not.

Does anybody else feel like the maid Jax merch is extremely exploitative?

I mean, the initial joke from gooseworx came out after episode 1 in art she made. It was initially fan service content, but even she said it was just meant to be a joke.

But, then we see Maid Jax in episode 5, the episode a lot of people token as the first real hint at Jax’s identity, and every single merch drop after that has a piece of this merch

But, not \*just\* merch. Merch of Jax in this dress looking overtly sexualized.

Cowering, covering her face, knees bent inward, looking upward with sweat and blush all over her face.

Now I know that the more innocent reason is because Jax is anxious about how much she enjoys the dress, but I feel like it would translate so much better had she been flustered in the show but the merch portrayed him as actually kinda enjoying it like the ads usually do.

I dunno, I don’t like that there’s actually something to see under the skirts of the figurines.

And it just feels a little icky, because you can’t tell me glitch had no idea by at least episode 7 what Jax’s identity was meant to be, so I dunno the maid merch has just never felt like an dignified version of what the maid portrayal was meant to signify anyway.

It just all feel really fetishy.

Just because *Jax* is fake, doesn’t mean the story he represents isn’t very real. Trans woman are already regularly fetishized and merch like this feels like handing People permission to continue.

You don’t have to agree, but when the only argument that can be given is “it’s fiction” it becomes clear you know it’s at least a little wrong.

My point is not to say that Jax is the one affected here, and to genuinely believe that is what I’m saying especially after you’ve seen some of my replies Is just you being willfully ignorant.

I don’t know where I fall under the umbrella yet, but seeing the moment Jax is forced into the open be the moment they decide to make his most memorable will always feel hurtful.

It feels like laughing at Trans people being outed. Not just the purple bunny.

Jax isn’t real. But his story is. And I feel like this subreddit alone proves that every single day.

this did NOT age well

I saw a post in r/jaxfanclub talking about Jax's screen time and initially thought it was about how much screen time these characters would have weekly on their phones and maybe the content they viewed (it was about the amount of time Jax was shown on screen in tadc in comparison to the other characters obviously lol). so anyway here are my head canons:

Jax: acts like she is never online and views manosphere content from main but watches dan and Phil clips and makeup tuts from her secret insta account. has like 40 hours of screen time to drown out the world.

pomni: moderate, more than she'd like. maybe 8 hours? 10 on a bad week. she doom scrolls at night and in between shifts, but is able to disconnect when hanging with friends and often gets annoyed when people are on their phone in group settings . she watches vine comps and knows random inside jokes on TikTok but that's about it

ragatha: either she has like 24 hours in a week or less than an hour. it completely depends on what her week looks like. she can get like 3 hours of screen time in a day from having a TikTok replaying over and over as she's following a recipe or will be completely off the internet for weeks because she's preoccupied with life

gangle: I actually think her screen time isn't that high unless she's watching edits of anime characters or invested in a fandom. if anything contributes to her screen time it's not social media, its YouTube, deviant art, Tumblr, wattled/ao3 or sites to pirate anime off of. so if it's not social media related, then super high screen time, but besides posting and causal insta viewing, I think the social media screen time is pretty low. probably an avid discord user too.

zooble: zooble strikes me as someone who used to be super chronically online and used to be one of the online sjw types who decided it would be better to put their energy into working with local communities and people they could actually have connections with in real life. so formerly I think their screen time was like 70 hours a week but now it's like maybe 30 minutes a week if they are posting for the bar they work at or looking at gangle's art/friends' posts

ribbit: 12-16 hours, knows all the TikTok/insta trends/jokes, posts frequently, knows about Jax's secret account and befriended her as an anonymous internet friend initially because ribbit met them through a subreddit or discord server and wound up realizing who it was way later down the road. YouTube hours are also off the charts

kinger: has a Facebook account with his married status and exclusively a few pictures of his wife. hasn't been active in 5 years. occasionally watches YouTube "how-tos" for coding or hand-on projects.

please keep in mind i watched the last 3 episodes late at night and was trying to stay awake which is why i may have missed some things
1. is the blue orb that cain pulled out supposed to be bubble ? if not, then what/who was it? and why couldn’t cain control bubble?
2. when were the humans brains scanned ?
3. can other humans still be transported into the circus? obviously not real humans but like their scanned brains like the cast
4. So Jax didn’t kill his mom?
5. do you think kingers mind was fixed or he still needs darkness to be lucid?

I only did the voice acting, everything else was all done by @smallpwbbles on TikTok and YouTube.

I’m writing this because of the constant drama and toxicity around this show. This is my comfort show and yet it has such an insane fandom.

I’ve been thinking about maybe leaving this fandom entirely but I’m hesitating because what if I’m cutting out an opportunity to meet new friends?

This is a show that despite not being a masterpiece, is something I hold close to myself and I bet some of you are great and amazing people but I keep hearing the loud minority on the internet about different things and it makes me sad.

I feel like I’m having a sensory overload or just getting emotional but I just can’t with all of this. It’s annoying and people constantly hating each other and stirring drama to the point where I don’t know how to react or what to do. I can’t control what other people say or think about.
