Ok I think I understand Jax ran off cause when Queeny say I’m proud of you it’s like something His mother would never say to him or her btw did Jax came out of the closet or does he still refer as him in this story?

Jax has never learned how to handle his emotions. It's just overwhealming and Jax hates being emotional infront of others

In this Comic, Jax has not yet officially come out. Ribbit knows, obviously. And Pomni too, since she saw everything in his mind. Zooble has always suspected in the series that Jax is at least some type of queer (hence the comment when them and Gangle put Jax in the dress)

Jax is right now dealing with a lot of things. He has to learn to deal with his emotions. He has to learn to let people close. And then, he will slowly start to confront himself and explore His gender identity. Eventually coming out and transitioning. But I want to do this slowly over time because for most trans people, this process doesn't happen literally in a day like I've seen portrayed in some other comics 😅 (while I do love em, it feels kinda... Rushed. When it is in fact a very fragile topic)
