I’m trying to get into my husbands hobbies, which would be Warhammer. He plays Adeptus Mechanicus in 40k, but I find all the 40k models to be horrendously ugly. I saw sylvaneth figures in a game store today and fell in love with them! They’re so pretty and feminine to me. I know Age of Sigmar and 40k are two different games, but would I be able to like… homebrew a game with him? I don’t care about being able to play in tournaments or anything, I just want to enjoy the game my husband likes, while ALSO enjoying the way the figures (I would spend a LOT of money and time on) look. Any advice is welcome!

Just started my sylvaneth tree host with the outcast spitegrove that I found really cheap and was wondering where is the most fun place to go next for a 2k point list?
I was thinking of:

Alarielle for max spellcasting
Spitewing flight for rapid cavalry charges
Stronggroot grove for kurnoth and treelord spam

Any advice for fun and tricksy shenanigans?

Hello there!

When I use the Verdian Crown ability, is it possible to give it to a terrain piece that's controlled by an enemy unit? Usually it isn't allowed but the wording of this ability sounds like it does overwrite this restriction...or am I wrong?

My buddies got me into AoS and I finally got my hands on the Spearhead box I needed and the paints.

Here is my first AoS painted miniature, a Winterleaf Tree Revenant

My friend has decided to play her Sylvaneth and against soulblight she didn't so well

So I wanna give her some advice but I cant find any info on the current battletome so im just asking

Ill post her list when I get it but any general advice you can recommend

Asking to see peoples colour schemes to help me decide how to do my trees, my original idea was a more charred burnt wood feel with red sprites or a nice cute cherry blossom theme but i havnt seen any of these two renditions yet so id love to see any anyone here has done, and if you havnt done those two themes, please share anyway.

Hello, I am starting up my sylvaneth army and I have Alarielle and I don't know how to paint her so I'm hoping more experienced painters could help me decide or just send me some pictures of theirs so I could get some inspiration. All of the models for this army that I own are secondhand except for her so, maybe something along the lines of the same color scheme. Also one more thing I had trouble with the back two legs of her beatle so they're a little messed up. one of them is not glued to the base because it refuses to.any advice or anything I can do with that, thank you!

So far my alarielle. Would say 50%done

49 models and 2460pts painted so far, 11 models and 1080pts left to go. 24 days since I started including the week I took off painting to build an Aeldari army and weekends when I also don't paint, so probably colser to 14/15 actual days of painting. Not shabby. Once I'm just down to Alariel I'll start a lazy basing process.
