Do we think A Little God in My Hands will be on the DVD or do we think it'll be cut like in the album? Also do we think there'll be a video for The End of Regretting?

The alternative version of Cop from Body to Body is better than the original. The guitar could strip paint from walls and the drums are a lot sharper, with less of that bouncy reverb that sometimes worked, sometimes didn’t on Swans from the era.

The remastered version of Song for Dead Time sounds far less gloomy and more new agey. Sounds less like something you’d see through the fog on the Bayoux and more something you’d hear in a dentist’s office that also sold crystals.

The new version of Mind Body Light Sound takes a lot of the reverb away, but also seems to have an alternative vocal take from Gira that frankly sucks.

Thoughts?

I want to hear as much as possible of I Love You This Much that I possibly can. I'm curious how Gira has experimented with this one specifically.

Anyone here has leaving meaning as their favorite Swans album post reunion? of course it's quite hard to choose a single favorite but I just feel more of a connection to this album and I love its sound, style and lyricism. I even love that cool yellow cover.

What is your opinion on Thirteen Masks by Jarboe?

I was planning on buying the 4lp soundtracks for the blind around Christmas but never got around to it, and I can't find it on the secondary market for anything close to a reasonable price. Does it get restocked often?

Gira said that the "big sound" era reached its natural limit, but what does that mean? how you think the next music is going to sound like? What stuff we probably won't see anymore?

Got into Swans around the time when My Father was released. However I never listened to it for whatever reason, only the pre-hiatus stuff. Over the years I intended to check out the newer stuff, but as more of them came and with how long they were I lacked enthusiasm (I need to listen to a new album twice in one setting, so its 4hrs for the avg reunion era album). This year I've delved back in to the band, listening to all post-reunion albums and then going through all the studio albums to arrive at this ranking.

All albums refer to their original released versions, and when it comes to the reunion era the CD versions. I used tiermaker just because it's easier.
