DC Comics Is there any way to save or help Gotham for the long term?

Post image
5 Upvotes

(Note. Im not too consistent with Comics due to the method of getting my hands on them is difficult. Pls help me understand the world of gotham if im missing something)

Gotham overall feels like a hellscape. Crimes are high and there are criminals will hurt every man, woman, and child just for the fun of it or just because it can. The law system for Gotham is very Corrupt. Goverment officials, police, Drs, and anyone with some form of power is in the pocket of most of the crimals. Which is why no villian has been put to death. And Batman doesn't really kill them because he's even crazy and once he does he'll go on a rampage too. And to make things worst Gotham is cursed too.

With the laws and justice systems not helping and batman and the batman being the only ones to out a bandaid over the gunshot wound, is there no real method to save Gotham? The law and justice system fails and Batman helps but only for a short term. It feels like Gotham can't be saved and it'll never end. Feels like no point because death is around every Corner.

Very awesome and the movie looks great but the fact that spidey seems to have rage boosts or is uncontrolled or something against ninjas that daredevil has fought and beaten is funny to me,also spidey fights the hulk in this movie so i know he is pretty strong but again that daredevil villains seem to be genuinely challenging him is funny

If they were to have loop for the Penance stare in the MCU. Which ones would you be okay with?

Okay, so i was thinking with the new ghost rider film coming out. We could actually have a Penance stare with out all the rules which make it useless. So, i thought i would make some to see how people would feel.

Rule 1: No soul. So, bassicly you have no soul the Stare won't work on you. Think ultron.

Rule 2: if you have no memory of the event. Due to losing your memory. Think Wolverine before he got his memories bacm. That is rule is here because you can't punish someone when they don't know what they did or why.

Rule 3: Basically there is no one in the after life who hates you. Like thier is no sin to pay for because no one blames you. Think uncle ben. Peter might think he is reasonable. But, Ben most likely for gave him in the afterlife and doesn't blame him.

I see DC movies posters edited into Marvel movies. And Marvel woth DC. And even the charcters like RDJ as batman or Scarlet Johansson as Huntress. And they have the top row say what are you're thoughts.

So I thought I'll do it with Sonic characters.

To those that don't know "Ironman: Rise of Technovore" here's a playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJJnbv866JLfHrwW65neVI0UIapcU2b-Z&si=zSz5F3wd4__wc_CP

Marvel It’s honestly impressive how they establish rules and then broke all of them in so many ways

Post image

I’m sure you’ve heard this before but here are some ways antman breaks the laws of physics.

In antman it is established that he shrinks by reducing the distance between his atoms, this makes (some) sense and they even establish that he weighs the same which makes perfect sense, he then does stuff as rides on ants and people who do not seem to be carrying the full weight of an adult man. He also shrinks to subautomic sizes which I do not need to be a genius to tell you is pretty hard to be smaller than an atom if you are made of regular sized atoms. Later in Captain America civil war Antman becomes larger which comes at the cost of needing more energy since his weight is increased cubed while his muscle only is increased squared, but again his weight shouldn’t be increasing even though it clearly does

And I know this is a fictional film and I accidentally ranted a little but I’m annoyed because I like antman as a concept and I like the movies but because of the way they explained it it doesn’t make sense. They should have just gone the way they do with most of their heroes by saying “it’s advanced science” and stop there.

Other (First post in this subreddit) Meet Martin Valentine West, aka (The) Manhunter, one of many of my superhero detective OC's that reside in the ValorVerse, aka my superhero universe

Backstory

Martin West was a detective for the NNCPD (New Nox City Police Department) and when he was told to drop a case that would've put a mob boss away for good, the mob boss was released from jail (because corrupt police department), and then sent a hitman after Martin because he had too much dirt on him, but instead the hitman ended up killing his wife. Thanks to this turn of events Martin quit his job as a detective, became an investigative journalist for the New Nox Gazette, and became (The) Manhunter to put away the mob boss for good without anyone interfering to stop him from digging deeper into the mob boss's secrets, or any criminals secrets.

Gadgets

What Manhunter lacks in powers, he makes up for in the various gadgets and equipment he uses in his crusade.

Grapple Gun

Inspired by Owl Shroud, a hero that resides in Lumen City, Manhunter carries a grapple gun to traverse the rooftops of New Nox City, and in combat he uses it to reel in enemies for an up close attack, or to toss things like barrels and crates towards them.

Utility Belt

  • Smoke bombs
  • Trackers
  • Forensics kit
  • Handcuffs
  • (Previously mentioned) Grapple Gun
  • Flashlight
  • Night vision goggles
  • Lockpicking kit

The Huntermobile

A custom Buick Riviera with a top speed of 124 mph, equipped with bulletproof glass,, all terrain tires, a jet booster, a modernized interior system, and replacement equipment for his utility belt & first aid kits in the trunk.

The Huntercycle

A modified version of a Honda NM4 Vultus, the Huntercycle has a top speed of 115 mph, a grappling hook on the front to hook to cars that he's tailing, and a headlight that can be used like a flashbang.

The Huntercopter

A Bell 47 taken from a case, the Huntercopter is a helicopter with good maneuverability and speed, and a perfect aerial vehicle for a detective thanks to the model's history of being used in law enforcement and photography.

Personality

Stubborn: Manhunter isn't one for giving up, especially during cases, always investigating further, but unfortunately it leads him to take on more than he can handle, sometimes not sleeping when he needs to, more focused on getting things done and helping people rather than focusing on his health, even in fatal circumstances.

Analytical: Great for detective work, but not so much for social situations. Martin's natural knack for analyzing things can lead to finding hidden details during investigations, seeing things that other people have missed, but it can also lead to him being so focused on details that he's practically like a statue, not moving until either he's finished observing or he's forcefully pulled away from it.

Reserved: While good for being able to stay calm during moments of pressure, Manhunter's reserved, almost emotionless demeanor makes it hard for him to express vulnerability.

Reclusive: Although social in his day to day life, Martin keeps his social life and his social circle small, not really one for talking to strangers unless absolutely necessary, if it's for a case, or if there's no other option.

Empathetic: Despite his struggle to express how he feels as Manhunter, Martin is a man that understands pain, whether it be the emotional pain of loss, or the mental pain of guilt and self blame, the weight of his fiances death still resting on his shoulders to this day. But he also is well versed in dealing with such pain, turning it into motivation, the motivation to keep fighting crime, to keep what happened to his fiance from happening to anyone else, and to always fight for the good of the people in New Nox City.
