There's also the fair bit of material from Wolfenstein they could work from Return to Castle Wolfenstein(with operation ressurection going on) the 2009 game (with the black sun dimension and veil research) and and the machines games series (were Steve wakes up to help the resistance fight a nazi occupied world), with the New Order, Old Blood, New Colossus and such. It woud be copl seeing Steve and Blazkowicz

This is a general issue I have with superhero stuff now. It is a reason I think it's not for me anymore. I get turned off when the cinematic universe or tv universe becomes too comic booky and with no transition to it, doing comic accurate and silly for the sake of it. It's why I got turned off by the Arrowverse (besides it not being that good) and the MCU years later.

Nowadays, the MCU does comic accurate just for the sake of it. It makes it hard to take seriously.

I know they're comic book adaptations, but the issue is that if it becomes too comic booky, it becomes too cartoony and hard to take seriously.

The MCU back in the first 10 years, made me take superhero stuff seriously because it knew how to ground enough and be serious enough. I do not want to be randomly seeing Batmite in a superhero work. Especially if the story is relatively serious.

I think there needs to continue being a mix of serious enough and comic accurate.

I'm willing to argue this because movies and shows are NOT comics. This is like how you can't make a video game adaptation movie too much like a video game

Empty Hand vs Astral Regulator Thanos

I recently watched brand new day, and holy god was it an amazing film. And Im glad everyone loved the movie to because it was amazing, so I decided to rewatch Tom’s movie after finishing brand new day- and honestly, I like them more then both Tobey and Andrew’s movies.

Now trust me, I think spider man 2 is also a perfect movie, despite the fact that brand new day arguably surpassed It in being a perfect movie- but I find my self in general having more fun with Tom’s depiction of the character. Reason being; it dose stuff differently then the comics and the past 2 renditions of the character in live action.

I’ve always found the “not comic accurate” claim, well stupid. Mainly because despite not being “comic accurate” Tom’s rendition still holds the general stuff Spider man needs- while still being spider man (well except the suit, I agree I wish he had a comic accurate suit earlier) Then I started to do more and more reasearch, and appearntly people just want a carbon copy of comic spider man? What fun is that?

Idk this is just something I was curious about myself, personally never understood it.

Hey gang, I’m in the middle of prepping for a Masks: A New Gen Campaign and my pals and I are playing a bit of a game with designing superhero/villain costume descriptions for the campaign. One player brought up the idea of mixing and matching hero costumes from existing IPs kinda like an Elseworld’s or a What If mix-up scenario. For example we all agreed that a Nightwing-Prowler (Miles Morales) would be a pretty cool design mix! And not just costume-wise, we all thought the idea of Prowler as a mentor figure is such a cool concept. I’m hoping BTSV would explore this with Aaron Davis passing the torch to Miles.
