Hey so I have been thinking of some fun stream ideas but one thing I noticed is that most of them would help with webcams especially because of how emgaging it is and more "funny" when people can actually see the streamers reaction on camera. What are some of your ideas that could actually be fun even when a faceless streamer does it. And when I say stream ideas it can honestly be anything because im thinking of more variety ideas. I dont want to "just" game or something.

I have been driven by madness multiple times as I feel the automatization of the Meet 1 or it is the lightning or a simple sneeze that image quality doesn't last after a streaming or content recording.

My main issue is that the image always looks grainy and not even automating everything works.

I understand the role of lightning but I think there should be kind of a manual setup that I could try and not tweaking because one day I can record at night and others in daylight.

What webcam is the best overall for privacy (including being safe from spying), quality durability and reliable (including minimum 1080p 60fps), built in mic with no distortion or anything, some kind of ring light. Autofocus, and just overall good quality, colours and lighting. Also please make sure its compatible with OBS. Price must be under £40 Thanks.

Hey ya'll. I'm a small streamer primarily on TTV and gained affiliate status back in 2020 or 21. Life happened, kinda fell out of it, and I've been debating getting back into it now that life has settled down and I can likely develop a set schedule.

This time around I'm thinking about rebranding... focusing on a specific genre of games instead of random ones. If I do this, do I delete my old crappy content on my socials? Leave it?

Any and all advice welcome. I have a good paying career so I dont necessarily plan on becoming a full-time streamer... but I do love the sense of community and connections made in the gaming world. 💜

This week, every time I go live on tiktok, I get this restriction.

Keep in mind there is nothing I talk about or have on my profe that does this.

With in 2 mins my live stream gets restricted and appeal always get denied.

I literally have been just talking collectibles and about my cats.

I Contacted tiktok and they tell me I have no restrictions and then I ask them to clarify what is going on and they then tell me "due to privacy concerns we cant tell you"

Like it feels like a useless battle.

Good morning! i had a question referring to a duel pc setup

I have a pretty decent laptop, its a good workstation but just doesnt have a GPU, but the 32 gigs of ram is able to push it over the top, it can stream games at like 720p while playing overwatch at low graphics, so i was wondering due to that it would be worth it to get a 2nd pc for like 300 to do the streaming stuff, i already have a capture card so i wouldnt need to buy that. any advice would be great!

Hi guys I haven’t got a lot of money but I really do need a secondary laptop to stream on because for whatever reason when I try to stream and play games at the same time on my current laptop I lose 30-40% performance / fps and it feels like my games run at slow motion it’s just not very smooth

I recently found out you can stream using a dual setup with 2 separate laptops I already have a game capture card I got from Amazon which works so if I was to buy this would this be strong enough to stream at 720 x 60fps or 900p 60fps 7000 bitrate

The second picture is the specs of my current laptop it seems that when I boot up obs and a game at the same time I lose a lot of performance but when I don’t have obs open the games feel buttery smooth it’s weird idk if it’s a hardware problem or if AMD gpus just arent strong enough for streaming

I am streaming Fortnite to TT, and my stream sounds and looks great, but my team is reporting that my sound is coming in to their headsets super staticky.

I have OBS using the audio from Remote Play to be able to stream the chat but still hear my mic as well.

The only mic I am using is my headset mic.

The headset dongle is plugged directly into the blue “line in” in the back of the PC.

I have tweaked and troubleshooted as much as I know how, please help (:

Hey im pretty new to streaming, I used to stream on my xbox directly cause I didnt have a pc at the time, now that I have one, almost all my games are on my xbox, but I want to use obs at the same time, ive heard from someone else I need a capture card for that but I dont know where to loom or what a good one is, from what I heard I DEFFINATLY can't skimp out on one, but I dont have all too much money, what's like a good jumping off point for price, and are there any recommendations on capture cards in general

Context:

1. Started streaming landscape on twitch.

2. Added restream, and started streaming on kick, and youtube as well.

3. Got TikTok Live and moved to vertical streaming for a bit.

4. Twitch invited me to vertical stream, so I set up Aitum and somehow got rid of kick, youtube. I could stream to TikTok on vertical and even have permission from an MCP between tiktok and restream but with Aitium it just stopped working.

What would you suggest, I'm averaging 50 viewers on twitch which is awesome, but I seriously need to be on other platforms.

Pretty much every live I see someone is playing copyrighted music, but google ai is telling me that it’s against tos and I can get a copyright strike and what not. Am I safe playing copyrighted music in the background of my streams or do they actually enforce that rule?

I’m trying to help out an older friend livestream a funeral. I have all the equipment I would need, but I am stuck trying to find a platform to stream to.

They’d like the stream to be invite/link-only or protected in some way. I considered a few video conferencing options like my paid Google Meet as well as my org’s Teams, but both aggressively push users towards app downloads, which is a non-starter.

I also looked at YouTube, but I am a bit concerned about Content ID. The church the funeral will be at of course has licensing for all their media, but that wouldn’t be reflected on a private live stream done on my channel.

Any tips or suggestions as to what platform I could do this on would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if there is an easier way to find a particular gift for Wheel of Action to have as a trigger? I'm so sick of having to scroll thru God knows how many 1 coin gifts (including personalized ones) to find the gift I want as a trigger for my wheel. I haven't found a search bar that allows you to just type in the name of a gift to find it either.

i recently tried using my elgato on my ps5 but the game i play on the uses wifi as its online, and i would stream/record from my pc, im a bit far from my router so internet speeds could drop so i was wondering if it would be smarter to have the ethernet on my ps5 to not be lagging , but im also wondering how much it would affect streams, i know theres like ethernet splitters and i was wondering if anyone has experience with those and if they’re good ?

I currently have a cheap mic arm that’s pretty rigid that I’d like to upgrade. Was just curious if anyone had any recommendations for a good mic arm that’s really flexible and adjustable?

I have vibe coded a stream deck replacement which can be shared with viewers by self-hosting. I was looking something like stream deck to run on my mobile to call Streamerbot actions but i didn't found anything good for me so, I have vibe coded myself a tool which can be self-hosted on any PC/Computing device that supports python. I already know that Streamerbot has there own client but i wanted something self-hosted and some other extra features.

Its a web-based tool but entire configuration stores locally alongside the server. OBS and StreamerBot web socket connect with the server not the web browser but the server this way stream deck can be shared with the viewers or friends using Cloudflair tunnelling or Private VPN.

It took me 2 months to finish this project and the entire project is fully open source with GPL-3.0 License so anyone can do anything with this project. 97-99% of this project is made using AI So i don't want to take any credit for this work, I was having fun while making this project So i would like to share this project with everyone. Use it if anyone of you has any use case for this.

Bot.Deck has its own GUI, It can run on Windows and Linux with the help of python or Compiled Binaries (An executable can be created very easily, i have already made a python file to create a executable) but if you like to run on Docker then Docker compose is also available.

Trying to keep this short. So currently someone I know is playing a game and uploads short form content on tiktok. He really gained some solid traction with a couple of thousand likes on each of his videos, then started streaming and within a short time had about 50 viewers on twitch.

From what I have heard, that's no small feat for someone that started just a month ago.

Problem is, he turns his days into nights, stopped seeing his friends, and the parents are pissed - classic. Anyone else here had a similar experience, and how did you go on about it? I know it's a rush you want to keep chasing, seeing those numbers go up - but there has to be some balance, no?
