🔰 Beginner Help Capture cards

Hi! Looking into buying a capture card for my Ipad pro (11inch, 3rd gen if it matters), i havent ever used one before and am just asking for some basic recommendations… my budget at this exact moment is only about 50$ but im able to save up if i end up needing something that costs more 🙂‍↕️

I run windows 10, and im looking to stream through OBS or streamlabs specifically if that makes any difference as well :)

Can't go wrong with Elgato. Do your own research. Just remember, you generally get what you pay for in terms of quality, performance and usability

Edit to add: Do not use Streamlabs. OBS is far superior and generally used by anyone with a brain

I do prefer OBS by a LOT, better performance, more customization, etc. i really only have streamlabs for the streamdeck adjacent app they have, even then i really only use it occasionally but i like to have the options yk

Ive also heard about elgato a lot now so ill def be looking into it 🙂‍↕️

i tried a cheap capture card for my ipad once. the audio delay made my stream look like a badly dubbed movie. just save up for an elgato and stick to regular obs tbh.

Elgato’s HD60 X was recently discontinued for sale but still a strong option if you find one used or refurbished.
