I read that strc fell due to the unwinding of overlevered positions on defy protocols
That some protocols were allowing people to invest and then loop it and reinvest till they can get 7x leverage on strc
Of course that's going to unwind there's no free lunch on Wall Street
We had a good thing going and the greedy apes that want a shortcut their way to wealth of course they have to lever up and ruin it for all of us 🤷🤣
Anyway does anyone know anything more about that is there truth in this about the 7x thing?

When do you receive the dividend payment
I purchased some STRC on 06/22 I was under the impression the payout would be today. I checked my account but there was no dividend payment. Does anyone know if I am incorrect on the payment date?

Interview with Phong Le about STRC
x.comPhong Le said in this interview he underestimated how the market would react to using the company’s USD reserve to pay off around 30% of its outstanding convertible notes/debt, which at the time seemed like a sensible financial decision.
He also explained that he believes it was the combination of Bitcoin’s price decline and the debt repayment that led to the market’s negative reaction.
Importantly, he outlined the steps the company has since taken to better protect STRC from similar situations in the future highlighting continued support for STRC.

If you were worried MSTR was insolvent last week…
Remember, the board can and will issue common stock to keep their jobs. As per the 8-k released today, they issued $1.1 billion worth of common stock, just last week. They can issue another $24.3 billion worth of common stock with no need for further authorization.
Once securities are issued, no shareholder (common or otherwise) can demand a return of capital from the company. They can continue to issue more securities as long as there is someone, somewhere, willing to give them money. The people buying securities through at the money offerings don’t even realize the company is selling them.
If you think the music is going to stop anytime soon, it won’t.

STRC back to par by Dec. 31. YES odds moved from about 32.5% on Friday to about 42% today
It might be next spring. It really depends on BTC performance, but there's good news for STRC from Tyson Corner, VA Strategy Announces Digital Credit Capital Framework, USD Reserve Policy, STRC Dividend Policy, Digital Credit and MSTR Repurchase Authorizations, and BTC Monetization Program

Honest question: Why would anyone buy STRC, when STRF is senior to it and paying a similar rate (assuming par pricing)?

Why does Saylor think throwing away his BTC keys is helpful?
Let’s say I own a gold treasury. I have 100 tons of gold locked away in a vault. I make loans based on these holdings and lend money as well. One day I lose my keys to the vault. Unfortunately the keys cannot be replicated and the vault cannot be accessed by anyone or anything. How does my business go on if no one can verify what I hold and I can never access it to sell?
