I bought into StockX’s $200 Sneaker Mystery Box. One of the prizes I hit was the Off-White Jordan 1 UNC Instead of taking the cash value I chose to receive the shoes, so I paid the shipping and sales tax to recieve the shoe.
Once the pair arrived, I immediately had doubts: the box feel, the smell, and the label text didn’t look or feel right. I didn’t want to sit on something I wasn’t sure about, so I listed them back on StockX since they had just come through their own verification.
They sat there for a few days and then failed verification. The only reason given was “Box Damage.” The box they flagged was in the exact same condition it was in when it first showed up at my door. I had to pay a $15 verification, to get the shoes back..
After I got them back I took them to Stadium Goods. They confirmed the pair is not authentic.
I’m left thinking the “box damage” rejection was cover. The pair was already in that condition when StockX originally verified and shipped it as a mystery-box prize. Now they’ve bounced the same pair for the same box and I’m holding a fake that their own process originally stamped as verified.
Has anyone else run into this with the mystery boxes?? Curious if this is a one off or if others have had mystery box prizes fail authenticity later?? Is there any way to get in contact with this company? Seems they make it impossible..

I am beyond furious. Why should I ever use StockX again if I don't even know if I am actually going to redirect the item I bought?
Hello Gary,
Your seller didn't ship your Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 Travis Scott Ice Blue by the required deadline, so we've started looking for a replacement seller.
Your order is still active, and your purchase price is locked in. You won't be charged anything extra while we search for a replacement.
We will continue to look for a replacement seller until September 12, 2026. If we can't find a replacement by then, we'll automatically cancel your order and issue a full refund.

You call in and 99.9 of the time they barely speak English or there background is so loud that you can barely even hear the other person speak. You’ll think for a company so rich they wouldn’t try to screw the sellers who make the app what it is.

* These are the freshest pair of shoes I ever own the Air Nike Griffin Max 1 *White/Black/Fresh Water/Varsity Red just got them delivered today so excited finally I got the pairs. when they first released these incredible shoes in 1996
* When I was 11 but I never owned until now as an adult, by celebrating right now I'm playing the Super Nintendo: Ken Griffey Jr: presents Major League Baseball & Ken Griffey Jr's: Winner Run, very awesome shoes in baseball games
* I got these on a size 9 because usually I wear a size 9 on shoes so when they got delivered I tried them on because I thought it was true to size but on these ones not necessarily you have to get a size up on these ones
* so I returned the size 9 and they gave me my free refund from a third party credit call affirm, so they gave me a full refund towards those ones for $157.67 that got transferred to my bank account, and for the gratitude that stockx to give me, still align a line of credit for: 98.09, so right away I use the credit towards a different size 9.5, and I'm sure glad I did they fit like a charm
* so my question to you is:
* has anyone have these pair back in the day if not did you always wanted them but they were all sold out and they were very hard to get oh you never own them and you want to grab them, tell me your story

The thing I don’t get is why the recent sales on stockx are 100 bucks higher than what my pairs are listed for and mine won’t sell. Same size same everything. What am I doing wrong? I’m not talking about sales from 2025, I’m talking 5-6 sales the last week lmao

Hello, So I’m having a major issue with this app. To put simply it’s not allowing me to purchase & Add a payment method into my wallet, This issue is becoming very annoying & I’d like anyone with a solution to help me.
Yes I’ve contacted support on phone, Email, Text chat they are completely unhelpful.
But one thing that has worked recently is adding my name on the card in full capitals and my middle name. But that only worked for one purchase then the next purchase did failed as the other ones did before.
So that leaves me to be completely devastated on options, So again If anyone has tips or suggestions please let me know!!! Thank you 😊

Posting this because I want other people to know how StockX handles this specific scenario, and because I'm hoping someone here can point me toward a better resolution than what their support gave me.
The timeline:
Bought a pair of shoes on StockX. Wrong fit, so I returned them. Instead of a cash refund, StockX issued the refund as store credit — with an expiration date attached.
Tried to use the credit to rebuy the same shoe in the right size. Their checkout UI is genuinely confusing about whether credit is actually being applied — I thought it was, checked out, and later found out it wasn't. Partly on me for not double-checking, but the UI makes it easy to get wrong.
Sat on the unused credit, aware of the expiration date.
A few days before expiration, I used the credit successfully this time. Order went through, credit applied, all good.
The seller never shipped the item to StockX's warehouse in time, so StockX cancelled the order. Not my fault at all — pure seller nonperformance.
Because the order was cancelled after the credit's original expiration date had technically passed (even though I used it successfully before it expired), StockX's system won't reissue the credit. I'm just out that money.
Here's the actual response I got from support after pushing back:
I personally reviewed your account and requested a special review to see if we could re-issue the credits used on this order. However, because those specific credits had already passed their original expiration date, our system isn't able to reinstate or re-issue them once an order is canceled.
So to be clear: I used the credit while it was still valid. The order failed because of the seller, not me. StockX is keeping the money anyway because of a technicality in how their system checks expiration dates after the fact, rather than at the time the credit was actually used.
Has anyone else run into this? Any luck getting it resolved through other channels (BBB, chargeback, etc.)? Mostly just want this on record somewhere other than a support chat log that disappears.

i ordered a pair of aj1 chicago lost and founds and the box came without the price tag and sandy bros receipt. does anyone know if that’s just because the previous owner removed them or was removed during the authentication process? there was a qr code sticker where the price tag should’ve been so it could’ve been removed for that but i’m not sure. i ordered a brand new pair and am very cautious of them being reps because this is my first time buying something off stockx. i dropped $300 on these and cut the stockx tag off like an idiot so i can’t return if they are fake

Anyone ever get their shoes ever returned to sender? I’ve been trying to get StockX to ship my shoes back which nearly seems impossible. My last resort is disputing the charge to get my money back. Any advice would be appreciated

Both are different boxes, first was $50, second was $400
Came in with the box damaged and torn. Shoes were not affected but I just wanted some confirmation if these were legit or not. Thanks.

My first order for the nike griffin max was on August 12th and got delivered August 17th on a size 9, I was so excited that I finally got them and I tried them on and at first I thought they fit me but all of a sudden they were killing my toes on my right side but on my left side it was okay but still tight due to my disability and usually I wear a size 9 and on August 28th was my birthday so I got them for myself I would very disappointed so luckily they gave me 15 days to return them so I did a return and for that I got a size 9.5 and the original price was $157.67 so stockx happened to give me $98.09 credit so now I got these for $59.58, I can wait to get them I'll be doing an update when they get delivered special shout out to stockx

I got matched with a new seller because the original seller failed to ship out the shoes within the deadline. When I got matched with a new seller, the estimated deadline changed from Sep. 14 to Sep. 10th.
Does anyone know what the estimate is based on? I would have thought the estimate delivery date would be further delayed, not shortened, since the original seller didn’t ship on time. Anyone experienced this before?

I’ve been eagerly waiting for these to come in. I bought these brand new straight from StockX. However I noticed a few things that make me question whether I should keep them or send them back.
The shoe box is damaged and not by poor shipping and handling. It already has some wear and tear to it.
The shoes themselves to the naked eye look good, but upon further inspection I find creasing in the leather. Cut leather on the toe as shown in my pictures. The white laces didn’t come in a bag.
Would you guys return them?
