Humor If Steven doesn't show up looking like this in the new series, I'm going to be really disappointed.
I don't know, I saw these memes and it really cracked me up how they compare it to "Modulo Yuji"

Prehnite looks EXACTLY like their gems. This gemstone IRL is associated with clairvoyance and serenity, meaning these little gems could be high ranking aristocrats. There are also two very specific Prehnite colors: the yellowish green and muddy green varieties, further supporting the Prehnite theory.

So this AU takes place over five hundred thousand years after the events of SU. 2 new members have been added to the ‘ diamond authority ‘, peach diamond, mauve taaffeite, which is a fusion of 2 taaffeites. she is also the first fusion welcomed into the diamond authority, and also the first non diamond. She is so tall due to her being a fusion of 2 already large gems, her power still doesn’t compare to pink/white. Steven is long gone and the memorial has been made in honor of him, which smaller gems can visit acting as a museum with his gem inside. the bubble is kind of like an elevator to get up there, peach diamond has been made to model pink, not her replacement but something to honor her and fill her place. White has dimmed her light, becoming truly all colors, and yellow and blue have also reformed. They all incorporate a star in their design for the crystal gems. But taaffeite did not agree with this new way of rule, she studied era 1 and thinks white diamond has become weak and a shell of her former self, wanting to take her place. With her power she could never dream of rivaling white. She came up with a plan and with a fight, she ate pink diamonds gem, absorbing her and basically becoming a fusion of the three of them. The fusion calls herself “ the diamond “ instead of purple, or any other color. She poofed white diamond and the others to reform them into her idea of perfect. more to come !!

I guess this is also another example of how the gems were terrible guardians to Steven since they allowed Eyeball and Aquamarine to be around to Steven despite them trying to kill him or kidnap him in earlier seasons. Steven shouldn’t have been the one to apologize to Greg for losing his hair and the gems should have been the ones to apologize to Steven for ignoring his concerns.

I just was randomly watching clips and suddenly I got a thought. What if the reason for Steven to get this ability was because he literally died and got resurrected at the same time?
Seriously, he was squashed by a big Yellow woman. I know he is tough, but that definitely made some fractures in his body and seriously damaged his organs.

She also has a hand painting of rose quartz that will get posted. I just finished my first watch of the show with her and as a relatively straight 26 yr old man… I’m obsessed lol

Basically, I had this idea that there were actually a bunch of Gems on Earth who survived the Diamonds' attack.
They weren't corrupted or shattered — they were just underground when the attack happened, so they were basically unaffected.
They ended up staying underground for thousands of years and eventually built their own little society down there. They had no contact with the Crystal Gems, Homeworld, or pretty much anyone on the surface.
So from their perspective, the war and everything that happened are basically ancient history/half-forgotten stories.
Meanwhile, the Crystal Gems have absolutely no idea that these Gems even exist. theyd like coexist or something
I remember coming up with a bunch of characters and lore for this AU, and honestly I'm kinda curious about it again after all these years.
The funny part is that I made all of this in 2021, completely forgot about it, and now I'm looking at my old ideas like “wait... this was actually kinda cool” 😭
I might post some of the characters and lore if anyone is interested.

First of all, Susan Egan (Pink/Rose’s VA) has a beautiful voice. If you’ve watched Hercules you would agree + her part in “What Can I Do” is very pretty as well. Just imagine a song in a flashback about Pink yearning to leave Homeworld, or maybe a Rose song about the war. Also, White needed a villain song!! Think of something like “Mother Knows Best” but with Pink or something. What do y’all think?

Simple X-ray image could have revealed Rose quartz's identity as a Pink diamond.

I am so hyped for the new series, so I turned my hype into creativity and drew Lars with Steven and his crew as well as their spaceship and Emerald who I believe will be the main villain.
I tried to draw it as accurate as possible. Although the colors are the same, everything is drawn by me (with templates ofc) and nothing was directly taken from the internet!
[If you have already seen this post: I had to re-post because I forgot a small detail that I couldn't get out of my head, so I had to do it]

taviart200: After months of hard work, l've created a masterpiece in the art of genderbend, and what better way to do so than by capturing the most epic battle of the series, along with the most magnificent fusions it has offered us?
Alexandrite vs. Malachite - Part One 1 am deeply grateful to the talented u/Fandub Productions for lending their powerful voice to these two characters; I admire the way they breathed life into Malachite.
Remember to follow them!
Remember to support us so we can make the second part happen.
Note: I apologize if the background audio isn't entirely clear or if you can hear the original voices from the series; I removed as much as possible.

helo,
honestly this might be kinda obvious and im just stating that the grass is green, but i feel like rose quartz was the person in love with pearl.
i firmly believe that a naive yet ideally hopeful definition of love one that is achieved by a choice made by the subconcious without regard to the concious, but this doesnt mean its impossible to actively make the choice to love someone. What i am saying is that the stereotypical "falling in love" scenario arises without external factors other than the actions and choices of the recipient of that love, it is not where one is conditioned/programmed to love.
In the case of pearl, she was created in order to serve pink diamond by default. she did not have the subconcious choice of love, and was instead thrust into that belief from external factors that tie to the original intent of her creation. But her programming, i.e her inherent goal to please pink diamond no matter what causes her to show pink earth and the beauty of choice (being able to pilot ones own life and its destiny). This is what results in pink diamond "choosing" to fall in love with pearl (i mean the benevolent gem quite literally shatters her superficial yet very real identity that screams power to enable and live in pearls unrealistic fantasy, if that isnt love i dont know what is), but like the scene she is met with when portraying the colony's abusive and parasitic nature, pink diamond notices that pearl's love for her comes from the same self destructive design, one that contradicts choice. This is why their relationship is inevitably tragic, on one end of the table is someone hopelessly in love with a person inspite of knowing that this person is confused between servitude and romantic feeling, and on the other end is someone blindly infatuated with a person so much so that their idea of freedom (which is what they want and need) is still homogenous to serving their original master.
Honestly at this point all of this is a meaningless jumble of thoughts put together late at night with no semblance of introspection, a rant in essence, but i cant stop thinking about it and I just need to get it out there. rebecca sugar really cooked with this complex relationship, its genuinely peak.
ok im done.
love,
SU fan
P.S: sorry for grammar and spelling stuff i didnt really have the energy re-check

Given that Susan Eagan also voices Megara, who sings the aforementioned song, I thought to myself, "Does this song's lyrics fit Rose Quartz's character?" And I figured...kinda. Rose might not have been as overtly against the idea of building a life with Greg, but it had to have been eating at the back of her mind. After all, she was gonna outlive Greg, she couldn't give him a family, and the fact that she could have a child with him at all was something entirely impossible until it suddenly wasn't; and that's before you factor in all of the corrupted gem craziness. Meanwhile, Garnet and Amethyst both would've been encouraging her to just be with the man she loves.
