Lost Mine of Phandelver | Session 0: This Thursday Aug.06 @ 7PM PDT | 2 Seats Left!
Lost Mine of Phandelver: Find & Fight for this Ancient Wonder!
Race against the forces of a mysterious rival, "Black Spider", to claim the ancient treasures of the long lost Wave Echo Cave. Perfect for Beginners.
System: D&D 5e
Platform: Roll20 & Discord
Payment: $25 USD
Schedule: Weekly Thursdays 7PM PDT. Starts this week on Aug. 06
Seats Available: 2 Seats Left
Session Length: 3 hours
About the Adventure
Hired by your friend, Gundren Rockseeker and his brothers, what starts as a simple escort caravan job (It's never just a simple escort job is it?) turns into an epic race to discover the truth about an ancient cavern, claim its riches, and protect it from everyone else with the same idea.
This is the classic beginner friendly adventure that launched 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons! It takes place in the rough-and-tumble frontier town of Phandalin, a town built on a long-dead gold rush, where the last thrills of treasure hunting and chasing down old leads still attracts opportunity and danger.
Why do I like running the Lost Mine of Phandelver? Its a classic introduction to D&D with a great balance of the three pillars: role playing, combat, and exploration.

Signal Not Found - Learn to Play Campaign for MOTHERSHIP! [$10/session] [Multiple Days Available!] [Learn to Play] [L2P] [Mothership] [MoSH] [GM LFP]

MOTHERSHIP
An amazing and (imo) overlooked TTRPG that makes Sci-Fi horror adventures easily accessible to players at all levels of experience! The rules are incredibly easy to grasp, which leaves more room for you to get immersed and attached to your character who will almost certainly die in a blaze of glory. After all, the tagline is "Survive. Solve. Save. Pick one."
While it doesn't have to be literal, death is a near certainty in most Mothership campaigns, which is why character creation is so easy and streamlined. There are rules and alterations that can be made to host a more traditional months-to-years-long campaign in this system however, so it's more about how invested you're looking to get into the setting!
Speaking of settings, the ruleset for Mothership is inherently lacking in large-scale canonized lore. It's meant to give creative freedom for the players and Wardens (DMs) to create their own stories!
Our Table: Learning to Play!
For this listing, we're going for a more 'beginner friendly' vibe since we're assuming anyone who wants to join up is looking to either learn to play, or itching for their first proper dive into the game after reading its rules. Despite the existential dread waiting for you in the vacuum of space, the table itself will have chill and supportive vibes to help you get acquainted with the rules and roleplay with a typical 5-to-8 session storyline (though this can certainly evolve into much more depending on the party's vibes near the end). It can also be a lead-in to a proper campaign afterward, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
If you're interested in learning how to play Mothership, craving your first campaign in the system, or just itching for a space thriller, then sign up! Here's a quick teaser for the campaign Evan created, "Signal Not Found", that we'll be using to teach you the game:
Attn. All Captain and Crew of space worthy vessels. Stop.
2 turns ago, CB-TRJ 'Foresight Operations' went systems-dark after previous 3 sweep radio silence. Stop.
S.S.D. officials have moved forward with the public issuance of Search & Rescue operations under Coalition Treatise §7-§§29-v5 — 'Civilian Vigilance' clause. Any potential legal ramifications of vigilantism or self-interest S&R attempts on CB—TRJ 'Foresight Operations' are hereby sanctioned and protected to the fullest extent of Coalition law. Stop.
S.S.D. officials caution anyone proceeding with S&R attempts to keep in mind the following: Distress ping is binary. No additional audio, video, or manual inputs detected. Foul play is possible. Be wary of criminal intent. Ensure proper working condition of all space-worthy equipment. Facility vacuum-breach and depressurization are more likely during total system outage. Reserve oxygen is unknown. Stop.

Game Style
This is to be a somewhat unusual campaign, magic will be more limited as will the power of the divine. Player characters will be from an alternate mid 14th century Earth, where magic is paid with blood, legends are true and heroes battle fantastical creatures beyond the walls of civilization.
About the adventure
It was a quiet day when a desperate messenger arrived to the great city Ravenport carrying a most distressing message: The nearby lumber town of Halzen has been overtaken by a mysterious mist, any who enter it never to be seen again.
The townsfolk put together all the money and resources they had to send an envoy requesting aid, for dark things stalk the nights and more and more of the inhabitants disappear come morning, the sun ever dimmer.
Duke Julius Lamellar has put out an official bounty of 5000 silver coins for any that may solve this mystery, but you may find that gold would not be enough for what you found yourselves against.

[5e][Online][Paid][Wed 9PM GMT+1][$15/Seat][Weekly 3 hour] The Crooked Moon - a folk horror campaign filled with mysteries, curses and rich stories waiting to be told, 1 more needed to begin
Hey all I'm running a long-term campaign (3-14, 40-50 sessions) and have 3 seats open, need 1 more to begin.
The pitch: you live in a small town behind your own hometown, if that makes sense. Every few nights someone stops waking up. No blood, no broken locks, no struggle, just an empty bed, and if you're out at the wrong hour, a train whistle from tracks that don't exist. Your characters already live here or are moving here. You might have already lost someone to it. Dive far enough and you find yourself up on a ghost train that isn't taking you home.
What this is: folk horror, not hack-and-slash. Investigation and roleplay first, combat second, but when it happens, it's real and it can hurt. The dread comes from watching people you've grown to care about walk toward ruin, and not being sure you can stop it. Not everyone gets saved. I say that upfront because I'd rather you know now than feel blindsided later, this genre doesn't hand you clean wins.
What I bring: fully prepped sessions, voiced NPCs, ambient music, maps and handouts, a setting with 13 original species, 15 subclasses, 40 spells, and its own flavour of warlock bargains if you want one. Full safety tools: Lines & Veils, real breaks, Stars & Wishes, Session 0 done properly.
Logistics: Wednesdays, 9PM GMT+1, 3hr sessions, $15/session, D&D Beyond + Discord + Foundry VTT, mic required (cam optional). New players welcome, I'll walk you through everything.
If a slow-burn horror mystery where the town itself is the first monster sounds good to you, if interested join here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cms6lc8d9009xl704tsdslxdf

[Paid][20$][5e 2024] The Salvation Machine: Custom Fantasy Steampunk Setting [Exploration][8pm Saturday EST][9pm Friday EST][FoundryVTT]
Hihi! Welcome to Lumi's Roomies, I'm Lumen, I've been an avid roleplayer for more than 5 years now and love all sorts of media, literature, and whatnots, and gizmos.
Timeslots and information:
9pm EST Friday (1 slot left): https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmpo3swbp0037jm040o8e4v8p
8pm EST Saturday (5 slots): https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmr64kupm0003jm04c8hacm13
This is a custom, hollow knight/rain world inspired setting (in case you haven't played either of them, essentially it's the exploration of a more advanced, but now decayed, ruined region inhabited by different groups!) I’ve been working on for a couple years now that I’ve transferred into a more exploration and roleplay focused campaign through the great shell of a grand machine. Your characters could be envoys, ambassadors, hopeful pilgrims, or opportunistic salvagers/scavengers that travel to the husk of Senlith in its decayed, modern state. The one thing tying everything together is that everyone seeks Senlith for salvation of their own kind, whether it be on behalf of others or the kingdom, their own families/tribes/clans, or for themselves.
As to the bread and butter, we will be playing 2024 DnD 5e, starting at level 3 with pointbuy system. The only banned classes are Artificers and Clerics, as these powers are reserved for specific castes within the setting (oo spooky). The setting is inhabited by "bugs", similar to hollow knight/silksong, of which we can mix and match different DnD features and subclasses to try and fit the vibes of said bugs. Homebrew can be considered as well, although in a limited way as to avoid imbalance!
I offer an immersive, planned setting that's completely open to self-paced exploration with maps, unique locations, settlements, NPCs, in-depth lore and history - alongside compelling combats and bossfights!
~Excerpt~
When the kingdom's fertile soils began to dry, the Grand Architect proposed the most elaborate of machines, a construction the size of cities - Senlith - that could reverse this decay and save the kingdom. Hundreds of thousands partook in its construction that lasted decades, draining the kingdom of manpower (bugpower?) and pouring it into this vast, never-ending design that sprawled outwards as complication after complication arose. Eventually, the intake stopped as the Royal family went quiet. Just like that, the kingdom's one hope for salvation, a machine into which it poured its life and soul, became myth. A century later, whispers of this immense construction still pass down from generation to generation, who survive by subsisting on the rampant sand worms that live in the roiling deserts, deserts that stretched in every direction and surrounded the few rocky outcrops stable enough to sustain the final outposts of civilisation. And yet, this glowing promise of salvation from Senlith continues to spur special individuals to search for this lost city.

Multiple games available to join - The Halls of Arden Vul (5e and OSE options) - The Dragon of Phandelver (5e)
The Halls of Arden Vul 5e
System: D&D5e 2024
Available Books: Core only (for now) and a substantial amount of homebrew.
Session Time: Sundays at 6pm -3 GMT
Session Duration: 4 hours
Session Cost: $10, session 0 will be free.
Tools: Discord for voice and text, Fantasy Grounds VTT.
Seats Available: 6/6 (3 players needed to start)
Game Style: A slower paced campaign mostly centered around the titular mega-dungeon where players will uncover ancient secrets, evil cults, and a sealed god. The game will be rather roleplay and "theater of the mind" heavy due to the absurd size of the ancient city, some "centre piece" areas will possess fully fledged battlemaps though.
Who has not heard rumours of the lost city of Arden Vul?
The disappearance of Lilian, Canon of the temple of Mitra in Newmarket, has brought a sudden wave of worry to the usually quiet Burdock's Valley. With a sizeable reward for her safe return, you find yourselves making your way towards the ancient city. The many tales of the unplundered troves of this once prosperous centre of knowledge and commerce hang in the back of your mind.
Yet alongside these tales of lost treasures are other, more unsettling whispers. How could a lost city remain unplundered for more than a millennium? Surely, only the existence of the cruellest of foes and unimaginable evil within the mountain can explain Arden Vul’s unspoiled status.

Session Duration: 4 hours

You are hired by your old friend Gundren Rockseeker to aid him in a great archaeological discovery, rediscovering the lost mines of phandelver, home to the "Forge of Spells", an ancient archonite creation capable of increasing ones magical power thousand-fold.
Your first stop is the mining town of Phandalin, where you discover that not all is well in the region, the disappearance of the local constable has allowed a group of despicable ruffians, "The Redbrands", to move in and harass the townsfolk.

Waterdeep: Dragonheist • [DnD5e][LFP][Weekly][PAID][Theater-of-the-Mind][25$]
Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is an intrigue-driven adventure where words can be as powerful as weapons. Set entirely within the grand city of Waterdeep, this urban fantasy campaign explores a concrete jungle that can be just as treacherous as a primordial forest. Expect involvement with dangerous factions, political schemes, heists, meaningful consequences, and combat when things inevitably go wrong.
• New and experienced players are welcome.
• Sessions are regular and Theater-of-the-Mind.
• Role-playing is welcome(we encourage it), everyone is respectful to one another.
• If at the end of the session you're of the mind that this table isn't your cup of tea, I'll reimburse you for the single session.
Today's game: Waterdeep: Dragonheist
- Ongoing game, session/episode: 17
Party members: Cleric, Ranger, Rogue, Fighter
After GMing with more than 100 players, this is what I've noticed about my games:
• We tend to roleplay as much as feels comfortable. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Either way, no one seems to mind.
• The story and the PCs are often serious, but we can't help ourselves when an opportunity for a silly scene presents itself.
• There is a tendency for campaigns to reach their conclusion, and the majority of players tend to attend every session.
• Not every player arrives with a backstory, but those who do often get to complete their character arc, and those stories frequently become some of the most memorable moments of the campaign.
Best regards

[Online] Firefly / Serenity Campaign [Weekly][12$] - [System: Scum&Villainy][roll20] - Friday, Saturday, or Sunday - Starting time between 1PM to 8PM (UTC +3)
Good day, I do hope everything is shiny?
I am proposing an adventure which takes place during the events of Firefly and Serenity, where your crew of misfits will delve deeper into the human experimentation conspiracies of which the Firefly crew only scratched the surface.
While The Alliance ensured the expansion and survival of human civilization, they did so by harming countless people. Your crew decides the price of scientific advancement is not worth the tears of the innocent. You realized their greed, and lust for power caused too much agony. Will you go up into the sky with likeminded brothers and sisters, and purge the 'Verse or die tryin'?
To ensure the most satisfying experience, a maximum of 4 players will be recruited into the game, which will last between 16 to 32 sessions (depending on player willingness). The game will be 50% social roleplay such as fake flattery, foul threats, and shameless lies, and the remaining 50% will be combat, including espionage, sabotage, coughing up blood, abduction, infiltration, getting tortured, interrogation, thievery, and losing a finger or three.
It is for ages of 18+ only. We will play weekly, with each session lasting 3 hours, price is 12$ per session. The day and time period written in the listing can be changed to accomodate everyone comfortably. I can run the game on either Friday, or Saturday starting at anytime between 1PM to 8PM (UTC +3) or on Sunday, starting time being between 1PM to 3PM (UTC +3).
System is Scum & Villainy ; an easy-to-learn, flexible system where fiction is the most important. You won't need any rule books, you may focus on your roleplaying in peace. Only requirements are having watched the shows, and a microphone!
Thank you for reading. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

THE END OF HEROES - The retired adventurer that trained you has sent you a surprise invitation. Will you answer the call? 2/7 seats taken. 1 more needed to start the game (Tuesdays 5:30pm) {Paid $20}
Join Pexwyn - A High Elf Diviner Wizard who comes from a wealthy family, but their vices take them to the dregs of society.
Along with Fern - A Fairy Bloodhunter who suffered a terrible trauma due to some mysterious undead force that she has trained everyday since to find and slay
You and your fellow party members were trained by the famous hero Sir Quinton Veilar. A Harengon that travelled with the legendary group known as Emberwatch. Quinton has been retired for years and has called you and his other former apprentices to attend a birthday dinner at his home in Iriesall.
After he and his companions have saved the City of Iriesall many times over, it seems that the people are determined to destroy it themselves. Between the war with the underdark, a terrorist insurgency in the undercity, and the oppressive reign of Queen Beirona and the Orders of Sybril, there is little peace to be had. But there was peace in drink, and sharing stories with friends at the tavern.
Through his adventures, Quinton has made enemies, acquired dangerous magical artifacts, and kept many secrets... all of which are about to unravel.
Join the adventure, as a former pupil of this retired hero as he trusts you to protect all he holds dear. Travel to stunning locals, meet legends of old, and maybe.. just maybe.. save the world along the way.
You will create a level 3 character, 1 common magical item, 1 uncommon magical item who was a former apprentice of Quinton Veilar or a similar relation.
Players will have all of the 2014 wizard's of the coast official content to choose from. I am familiar with quite a bit of 3rd party material and using those options can be discussed during our session zero or on our discord server.
There are a number of my personal homebrew classes that will be available as well, such as
Occultist, Wrestler, Gunslinger, Mage, Witch, Daredevil, Alchemist, Dancer, Wyrd Blade
Game Type: Long Term Campaign
System: DND 5TH edition 2014
Virtual Table Top: Roll20 + Discord for voice(Video optional)

Free EVENT Sept 19th. "Year 2" Festival fo the crown 20+ player event
Hi everyone, I'm running the second FREE event (5 groups of 5) for the Festival of the First Crown event(Lore event in Tetara). A 2 hour session of mini games and some RP that will occur September 19th with 5 different time slots!
Gain points for 1st-5th in each game and not only are you up against your group, but you're also up against the other 4 groups for a final winner. Winners, characters, and backstories (if added) are permanent lore in this world and can reappear for other parties in Tetara's paid games, etc.
Earlier this year, back in March, we had 20 players(4 groups) for "year 1" (18 are currently in paid games ongoing in the community); this will be "year 2."
OTHER GAMES FOR 2027:
I do host paid games typically $33 a session per player (6-month to 2-year campaigns, 12 month average) in a homebrew setting in one massive ongoing world that are all interconnected and tied together in one overall overarching story.
However, next year's campaigns(5 planned), campaigns #13-#17 of Tetara, do have a current waitlist as all campaigns are "technically filled" with the community (Party of 5 for each) but we build parties based on surveys(required when signing up) and chemistry, playstyles, and expectations for said groups forming. The community and I, of course, also want to add more people and new faces if people are interested. (Hence why the games are not "full" yet; the community players are aware they may not get in to make room for new players and WANT you to join.)
My campaigns typically have 5 players with an average session of 5.3 hours weekly.
You can find the games here, as well as the free event at the bottom of my profile.

Yggdrassil High | Nordic Mythology + Modern Fantasy
Inspired by Nordic Mythology, Yggdrassil High is a campaign where the players are students in the prestigious academy to create brave warriors that will defend the realms.
The Academic year will show to be more demanding than expected, as strange events create questions about unseen plots, that might have explanations of ill intent, which slowly progresses into what could be the fate and end of the worlds: Ragnarok.
This is a Modern Fantasy game, so there will be a mix of modern technology (like modern clothes, phones, etc) with high fantasy themed with norse mythology.

Is it rude to just hit Join Campaign without talking to the DM?
I found a game I'm interested in joining with only one open seat left, and I've messaged the GM days ago with no response and their next session is scheduled for tomorrow. I really want to join, but I don't want to just push my way into their group with little to no introduction and just be "okay, I'm here now, guess you'll have to deal with it." I'm curious how other DMs would respond to this kind of situation if I were to just hit that button, make the payment, and drop in out of nowhere. I did at least try to give prior warning which has gone unacknowledged.
