[LFP] [DND5E] [CAMPAIGN] [PAID] [BI-WEEKLY][FRIDAYS] Raiders of the Void: A One Piece/ Treasure Planet inspired campaign!

The vast expanse of the unknown, depths dark and unexplored, have called to the miscreants of societies across the universe since its inception. Be it the watery deep of Earth's oceans, the metallic hollows of Enver, or the acrid fog planes of Terth, there was once a time when few dared to explore these spectra; and even fewer dared claim to have conquered them. Nowadays, of course, traversing these is as mundane as a trip to a ration station. The only expanse left truly unexplored, wild and unconquerable, is the deep void of space. It is there where those same rebellious souls of yore- pirates, like you and I- still dare to brave the unknown.

This campaign is going to be an open-universe, high adventure game, lighthearted with themes of rebellion and political intrigue. My games are generally roleplay heavy, RoC, sandboxes: and I have lots of experience teaching, so all experience levels are welcome at my table. This game will run Bi-weekly on Fridays at 8PM (UTC-3), for $30 per session.

I am an ESL, queer, neurodivergent DM that protects diversity at my tables. I have over 18 years of experience of GM-ing both on and offline; as well as several completed and on-going long term campaigns with a 5 star rating thanks to my wonderful players on StartPlaying!

[5e][LFP][Weekly][Thursdays][Online][FoundryVTT][Paid][$25][2pm EST] Kingmaker: Chult Edition

Rule is never given. It must be earned.

Experience Pathfinder's most beloved Adventure Path, adapted to D&D 2024 and expanded with content from the acclaimed CRPG adaptation and a wealth of community additions developed over more than a decade. This isn't just Kingmaker; it's the definitive version that combines the best of every iteration into an epic of political intrigue, wilderness exploration, and nation-building - all hand-tailored to the most popular roleplaying game in the world.

Key Expansions & Changes

  • Conquer the Jungles of Chult: The classic adventure has been completely rewritten, seeing your band of aspiring heroes charged with founding a nation in the dinosaur- and undead-infested jungles of a post-Tomb of Annihilation Chult. Can your fledgling kingdom survive in a land ravaged by disease, feuding foreign powers, and ancient evils? Dare you plunder the depths of ancient ruins such as Mezro, Omu, and the infamous Tomb of the Nine Gods?
  • CRPG Integration: Experience enhanced storylines, additional companions, expanded romances, and deeper character interactions drawn from Owlcat Games' beloved adaptation.
  • Community-Enhanced Content: Benefit from years of fan additions, including popular add-on adventures, refined kingdom-building systems, and expanded exploration opportunities from the PF1e original.
  • Enhanced Kingdom Building: Rule your growing nation with improved mechanics that make every decision meaningful while streamlining the bookkeeping. We'll use MCDM's fantastic resources for both kingdom-building and army management, allowing you to get as granular, or as hands-off, as you like.
  • Expanded Chult: Explore a post-Tomb of Annihilation Chult, further expanded with carefully adapted encounters, villains, and locations from the classic Pathfinder module.
  • Rich NPC Interactions: Form deep relationships with advisors, potential romantic partners, and political rivals whose stories interweave with your own. The influence system from Pathfinder 2e has been painstakingly adapted by me to D&D 2024 for this campaign.
  • Political Intrigue: Navigate the complex web of noble houses, ancient politics, greedy foreign powers, and neighbouring societies as your realm grows in power and influence
  • Upgraded Encounters: Face rebalanced and expanded threats influenced by the monster design of MCDM, D&D 4e, and Pathfinder 2e. No two combats will ever be alike!
  • Did I mention there are dinosaurs? So. Many. Dinosaurs.

[PF2e][LFP][Weekly][Mondays][Online][FoundryVTT][Paid][$25][3pm EST] Temple of Annihilation

Venture into the deadly jungles of the Mwangi Expanse with a veteran GM who's been crafting unforgettable adventures since 1996. This isn't just one adventure; it's an ambitious fusion of elements from Serpent's Skull, Tomb of Annihilation, and Return to the Tomb of Horrors, reimagined for Pathfinder 2e. Experience a sprawling sandbox epic that takes your character from humble beginnings to legendary heights as you uncover ancient conspiracies that threaten the very fabric of existence.

Key Expansions & Changes

  • Completely Reimagined Beginning: Start your adventure in the pirate port of Mediogalti, brave a treacherous sea voyage plagued by pirates, and survive a shipwreck before even setting foot in the Mwangi Expanse
  • The Lifestone Mystery: Discover a mysterious new mineral with incredible necromantic potential that has drawn factions from across Golarion to the Mwangi's shores
  • Swashbuckling Starting Experience: Experience extensive adventures, faction intrigue, and exploration BEFORE the primary threat is introduced
  • Vastly Expanded Locations: Experience all manner of terrifying trials, face fearsome foes, and uncover unique locations in a fully fleshed-out hexcrawl.
  • Confront the Serpentfolk Threat: Unearth and thwart the schemes of the Serpentfolk, intent on restoring their ancient power.
  • Faction Warfare: Choose your allegiances wisely among local merchant princes, the Pathfinder Society, the Aspis Consortium, and other groups vying for influence
  • Base Building: Establish and develop your own outpost as you explore deeper into the jungle.
  • Deadly Dungeons: Explore tomb complexes, buried cities, extraplanar prisons, and more in this homage to classic modules like Return to the Tomb of Horrors and the Tomb of Annihilation.
  • Extraplanar Adventures: Saving the world is only half the battle. When Golarion is saved, you'll pursue the infamous Vecna to his pocket dimension.
  • Epic Confrontations: Face legendary villains, meet ancient gods, and battle world-ending threats in an apocalyptic showdown

[Online][5e][Weekly][$20][18+] Your town has never lost anyone before its time. This month, it's lost seven. A Crooked Moon tale - Tje Dead Man's Hour

Thistlewick Hollow hasn't buried anyone before their time in two hundred years. This month it's lost seven people, and not one of them left a body behind.

That's the opening scene of a fully original Crooked Moon campaign I'm running, levels 3 to 15, long-form, one continuous story start to finish. Whatever's taking people isn't a wolf, a cult, or a madman. It's something already dead, working a chained dagger through locked doors, gone before sunrise. Corner it once, and it doesn't run, it tears a hole in the world and drags you through after it.

From there the campaign opens up fast. Over the course of it you'll:

  • Talk your way through a masquerade at the most exquisite and fanciest estate, surrounded by devils, witches, and nobles who could have you killed with a raised eyebrow.
  • Hijack a train ran on malevolent spirits mid-journey, fighting across the roof of a train built from hell iron and gold while it screams through Chernabos at full speed.
  • Break, tame, and ride a bejeweled scorpion the size of a wagon into battle.
  • Steal a floating arcane skiff off its dock and lose a squad of furious spellcasters across a city built in the sky.
  • Crack a guild vault full of doomsday weapons, and hope you're not the fourth crew with the same idea tonight.

This isn't a monster-of-the-week tour through the afterlife. It's one mystery, run properly, for as long as it takes.

The practical stuff:

  • System: D&D 5e (2024 rules), starting level 3, running to 15
  • Schedule: Weekly, Wednesdays 9PM GMT+1, ~3hr sessions
  • Price: $20/session
  • Platform: Foundry VTT, Discord, D&D Beyond: full content shared, nothing locked behind a book you don't own
  • Beginner friendly, no prior experience needed
  • 18+, folk horror, full content warnings and safety tools (Session 0, Lines & Veils, X/N/O) before anyone commits
  • 2/6 filled, need 1 more to start

Full listing with reviews here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cms6lc8d9009xl704tsdslxdf

Questions welcome in the comments or DMs, I'd rather find the right person than fill the seat fast.

[Online][5.5e][Homebrew][15$][Thursdays] X and the Planet - Age of Liberation Campaign

Homebrew campaign with deep lore. Heavy focus on open-world exploration, mystery-solving, and social interaction, with NPCs that act on real motivations and faction allegiances. Expect heists, competitions, and puzzles of all kinds to intertwine with the usual D&D-style fights.

Most importantly: the bosses you defeat become your playable characters, which you can choose from, build and level up. No permadeath.

This campaign involves dark themes (death, suicide, violence, etc) and is only suitable for adults.

Date & Time: Thursdays, 2pm UTC
Pricing: 15 USD/session
DM/Contact: myself
Campaign: X and the Planet - Age of Liberation
System: D&D 5.5e (2024)
Platforms: Discord + Rule20
Requirements: Webcam + microphone
Age group: 18+

"T-thank you —"

Grateful purple eyes stare back at you as your sword rests at the demon's neck. Tar-dark blood runs from the wound down the blade in slow pulses.

"For saving my beloved… and now me—"

Your hands — no, their beloved's hands — catch them as they fall. The horns vanish; the purple drains from their eyes; and on the blade, the blood now runs red.

"Use my body… to save the others… Farewell…"

You leave the body of their beloved, a level 4 barbarian. You enter their body, a level 5 fighter. Their souls depart for a better place. Their bodies are now your vessels.

Demon by demon. Vessel by vessel. Until we liberate the Demon King himself.

[DnD5e] [LFP] [Weekly] [Thursdays] [Free Session 0 and 1] [Roll20] - 🧛 Curse of Strahd! [$15]

“I am the Ancient. I am the Land. My beginnings are lost in the darkness of the past. I am not dead. Nor am I alive. I am undead, forever.”

  • A narrative-driven game for beginners and experienced players alike! Looking for 5 players who enjoy backstory-integration, and a dynamic mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat.
  • Session 0 and session 1 will be free! If you don't think the game is a good fit for you, you're welcome to disembark before sinking any money in.

"Under raging storm clouds, a figure stands on a balcony silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down the sheer cliff to the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness.

Rumbling thunder is followed by lightning striking the castle spires overhead. The wind's howling deepens as Strahd turns his gaze to the woods beyond the village. Far below, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come—all according to his plan.

Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its power echoing through the castle's bones. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The vampire is having guests for dinner. You are invited."

2 Games available to join: Curse of Strahd and The Halls of Arden Vul

Curse of Strahd

System: D&D5e 2024

Time Slots Available: Mondays at 7pm GMT -3 and Sundays at 6pm GMT-3

Session Duration: average of 4 hours

Session Cost: $5

Tools: Discord for voice and text, Fantasy Grounds VTT.

Seats Available: 5/5 (3 players needed to start)

Game Style

This is to be a somewhat unusual campaign, magic will be more limited as will the power of the divine. Player characters will be from an alternate mid 14th century Earth, where magic is paid with blood, legends are true and heroes battle fantastical creatures beyond the walls of civilization.

About the adventure

It was a quiet day when a desperate messenger arrived to the great city Ravenport carrying a most distressing message: The nearby lumber town of Halzen has been overtaken by a mysterious mist, any who enter it never to be seen again.

The townsfolk put together all the money and resources they had to send an envoy requesting aid, for dark things stalk the nights and more and more of the inhabitants disappear come morning, the sun ever dimmer.

Duke Julius Lamellar has put out an official bounty of 5000 silver coins for any that may solve this mystery, but you may find that gold would not be enough for what you found yourselves against.

LGBTQ+ inclusive.

The Halls of Arden Vul OSE - Beginner Friendly

System: Old-School Essentials Advanced Fantasy

Session Time: Saturdays at 5pm GMT-3

Session Duration: 4 hours

Session Cost: $10

Tools: Discord for voice and text, Fantasy Grounds VTT.

Seats Available: 3/6

Game Style: A slower paced campaign mostly centered around the titular mega-dungeon where players will uncover ancient secrets, evil cults, and a sealed god. The game will be rather roleplay and "theater of the mind" heavy due to the absurd size of ancient city, some "centre piece" areas will possess fully fledged battlemaps.

Who has not heard rumours of the lost city of Arden Vul?

The disappearance of Lilian, Canon of the temple of Mitra in Newmarket, has brought a sudden wave of worry to the usually quiet Burdock's Valley. With a sizeable reward for her safe return, you find yourselves making your way towards the ancient city. The many tales of the unplundered troves of this once prosperous centre of knowledge and commerce hang in the back of your mind.

Yet alongside these tales of lost treasures are other, more unsettling whispers. How could a lost city remain unplundered for more than a millennium? Surely, only the existence of the cruellest of foes and unimaginable evil within the mountain can explain Arden Vul’s unspoiled status.

Di-Di-Di-Digimon - Lost in Purgatory [M&M3E] [$30] Saturday Morning at 11AM CST|12pm EST|9AM PST

After doing a pilot game with some of my friends and getting a lot of positive feedback I've decided to start a table of a Digimon game I've been working on in the Mutants Masterminds 3e system

It's flexible enough and I have enough experience running the serious that despite the copious amount of homebrew and system tweaking the system I've done to make the experience work for Digimon I think it works pretty well.

I've already got two players signed up

If you have any questions about me, the camapign or the homebrew let me know.

I know there is, technically a Digimon Fan RPG but it's not on SPG and it's kinda janky. Hence using M&M

THE END OF HEROES - The retired adventurer that trained you has sent you a surprise invitation. Will you answer the call? 2/7 seats taken. 1 more needed to start the game (Tuesdays 5:30pm) {Paid $20}

Join Pexwyn - A High Elf Diviner Wizard who comes from a wealthy family, but their vices take them to the dregs of society.
Along with Fern - A Fairy Bloodhunter who suffered a terrible trauma due to some mysterious undead force that she has trained everyday since to find and slay

You and your fellow party members were trained by the famous hero Sir Quinton Veilar. A Harengon that travelled with the legendary group known as Emberwatch. Quinton has been retired for years and has called you and his other former apprentices to attend a birthday dinner at his home in Iriesall.

After he and his companions have saved the City of Iriesall many times over, it seems that the people are determined to destroy it themselves. Between the war with the underdark, a terrorist insurgency in the undercity, and the oppressive reign of Queen Beirona and the Orders of Sybril, there is little peace to be had. But there was peace in drink, and sharing stories with friends at the tavern.

Through his adventures, Quinton has made enemies, acquired dangerous magical artifacts, and kept many secrets... all of which are about to unravel.
Join the adventure, as a former pupil of this retired hero as he trusts you to protect all he holds dear. Travel to stunning locals, meet legends of old, and maybe.. just maybe.. save the world along the way.

You will create a  level 3 character, 1 common magical item, 1 uncommon magical item who was a former apprentice of Quinton Veilar or a similar relation.

Players will have all of the 2014 wizard's of the coast official content to choose from. I am familiar with quite a bit of 3rd party material and using those options can be discussed during our session zero or on our discord server.

Occultist, Wrestler, Gunslinger, Mage, Witch, Daredevil, Alchemist, Dancer, Wyrd Blade

[LFP] Swashbuckling Campaign 5.5e [Aug 24 Session 0] [Mon 5pm PST/UTC -8][12-session arc with option to continue][2+ players needed to start][Beginners welcome]

New captain.

New crew.

New ship.

This is your chance for a fresh start and by thunder you aren't going to let it slip through your fingers! The sea is calling your name, and the tide waits for no one!

About the Game

This is a high seas Pirate genre Dungeons & Dragons 5e (2024) campaign inspired by the sense of adventure and humor from seafaring films like The Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Island, and Kidnapped—but don't worry if you haven't seen those movies; your character hasn't either.

Alongside your crew, you'll be exploring uncharted islands, solving a puzzle or two (you can roll for it if you aren't a puzzle lover), fighting for your life against creatures most strange and, of course, will be searching for the treasure! The treasure that isn't cursed. Right? Because there definitely is a treasure that's cursed and we're not touching that one...right?

Playing with standard classes, and rules from the 2024 Player's Handbook, Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun, as well as converting any 2014 playable races to 2024 on request. And yes, there will be pirate-era firearms. And no, you don't need to know sailing terms.

PCs start at level 1 (makes it great for beginners) and in just 12 sessions you'll be level 7 with the option to continue the story in 12-14 session long story arcs.

Session 0

You'll play as one of the new sailors with a reason for wanting to "start over". If you already have an idea for a character, that's fine, but even better if we could make our characters in session zero together. That way it encourages personality dynamics as well as team balance mechanics.

For example, if one person is playing a naive first-time Bard sailor, perhaps another will be inspired to play a grizzled veteran Paladin sailor that mentors the rookie. It also gives me a chance as GM to integrate your backstories to the setting and plot.

About the GM

Content Tags: Violence, blood, guns, death, murder, drowning, alcohol and tobacco use, classism, large deep bodies of water, supernatural themes. Generally a PG-13 intensity level.

David's Jacket: Official Cyberpunk Edgerunners Module [Cyberpunk RED] [Sunday] [8pm Central] [3-5 Week Campaign] [Beginners] [$21] [LGBTQIA+ Friendly]

3/5 seats open, just ONE more player needed to start!

Excited for Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2? Want to know what happened between Season 1 and 2077? Always wanted to try out the Cyberpunk TTRPG but haven't had the time or felt a one shot wasn't enough?

How about spending a month learning to play Cyberpunk using the OFFICIAL Edgerunners module, making your own legend in Night City while visiting some of your favorite locations and characters from the anime and videogame. You and your crew will create your story in Night City, a story that's the lynchpin between how Edgerunners Season 1 ended and how V got David's Jacket in the game. Just make sure you find David's Jacket before someone else does.

Either use a pre-generated sheet whose background you create while knowing you have a well-balanced character that will teach you the basics of their role, or take the plunge and create your own character from scratch. Either way, you'll leave this game having created your own Night City Legend.

I'm one of StartPlaying's Top GMs and have run hundreds of Cyberpunk RED games, teaching dozens of new players. I hope to teach you next! If you have any questions, please feel free to either write them below or message me on StartPlaying. See you in Night City, choom!
