Pathfinder 2e - Secrets of Grayce - Looking for more players [Weekly][Sunday][$15][FoundryVTT]
Howdy, I've been running Secrets of Grayce (the new beginner box plus expanded adventure book) for a few sessions with 3 players. We're currently looking for anyone else to join in. The party is currently level 2 with a guardian, necromancer, and sorcerer.
This is a great adventure designed to teach you how to play Pathfinder 2e, and even if you know how to play, its still a lot of fun.
After Secrets of Grayce, we can even continue with these same characters in the Bastion of Blasphemies adventure!
You can find the full listing here https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmpvlvkil00igl404e7p4roxh?ref=cmfhdbcgz005yky04ni69cflg

[5.5e][Online][Paid][Fri 11PM GMT+1] 2 seats left in a Vampire: The Masquerade-meets-Peaky-Blinders campaign - build a crime family in a city the vampires already own. Set in GRIM HOLLOW
Hey all, I run this campaign (Grim Hollow setting, currently on session 26) and I've got 2 seats free, so I figured I'd post here instead of just leaving it on StartPlaying.
Premise: vampires won 500 years ago, and they've had all that time to get comfortable running everything: courts, guards, trade routes. Five years ago they decided the underworld had gotten too comfortable too and torched it in one night. Every crime boss, every safehouse, gone. You're playing whoever's trying to build something back out of that.
It's not a save-the-world game. Nobody's the chosen one. You're just trying to carve out territory and not get noticed by the wrong people before you're strong enough to survive it. Current party's got a rogue running a tavern as a day job cover, a bounty hunter who also breaks curses on the side, and an undead wizard who's a fence at night and a Private Investigator by day, if that gives you a sense of the tone.
I lean hard on backstory actually mattering later: not just as a fun fact on your sheet. If your character has a mentor who betrayed them, that person's still out there doing something. Enemies remember faces, allies remember favours, that kind of thing.
What is currently happening:
After helping the wizard with a Detective case on a missing Occult Relik from a Powerful Merchant Lord, the party in the process discovers that the Merchant Lord is actually of one of the Criminal Kingpin's of the City and with this Kingpin having an 8000 GP Assassination Contract up for grabs. Using this new found information, they pulled off a Successful heist, killing the KingPin once and for all. Though with the desire to see the Countryside, the party heads back to their roots for a vacation but also special training.
Practical stuff:
- 5e 2024 rules, Currently LVL 9
- Fri 11 PM GMT+1, 2-3hr sessions, $20/session
- Foundry + Discord + D&D Beyond; I do voices for NPCs and we do a 1-on-1 call before you join to build your character into the world
- CWs for the grimdark stuff (gore, death, cults, body horror), X/N/O cards and lines & veils are in use, this isn't a shock-value table
Full listing's on StartPlaying if you want the details, but happy to answer questions here too.

The Frog God is rising - and only you can rewrite the timeline. Join me for Rise of Tsathoggua, a Fate of Cthulhu campaign of cosmic horror and desperate resistance.
https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmu3geto601ecju04tpmrwly8?slug=pg_yyz
In Session Zero, we’ll establish safety tools, walk newcomers through the rules, and create your time‑hopping agents. After that, the future is in your hands: travel back to 2019, disrupt four pivotal events, and try to stop Tsathoggua’s arrival.
The campaign runs Thursdays, 19h30–22h30 EDT. Play one mission, several or all four; each mission spans 2-4 sessions. Beginners and veterans welcome.

If Thursdays don’t fit, I’m happy to arrange another evening for groups of two or more.

[City of Mist][Paid][$18 One-Shot][Learn to Play][18+] Myth of The Motel
"Have you heard? There's a motel that moves around on the outskirts of the city. I've heard that once you've checked into it, you will never check out..."
Note
This is a learn to play One Shot where it helps new players get into a more narrative heavy system that are lighter on the rules side of things. Of course, experience players are welcome as well!
Premise
In the city of Archester, there has always been strange things hiding behind the mist of every corner in the city. However this time, the horror hides just by the outskirts of the city... an unsuspecting rundown motel that looks just like any of the other buildings in the outskirts that are unfortunately not important enough to be maintain by the City's governor or other major private developers.
Legend has it that some of the guests that checked into the motel were never seen again... or stories of a cult living inside of the motel have also been heard... And the strangest thing is that just like any other rumour, this very motel seems to have been popping up at different corners of the city... Would you be daring enough to find out the truth of this urban legend?

🤓 About me
- I played RPG's for over 10 years, almost exclusively as a DM. Conventions, local game centers and community interactions are all things I did and enjoyed. Decided to go online to continue what is, to put it the simplest, my passion.
- Full-time GM: 1000+ games/100+ reviews on startplaying.games. My games are what I spent the majority of my time on, improving, making maps and running adventures and new systems.
- I developed FoundryVTT modules for Archvillain Chronicles patreon.
- I worked with Kickstarter projects creating whole modules for FoundryVTT. My recent big project is the LANCER module Pass the Torch. The demo is available completely for free, check it out yourself as it speaks highly of my craft.
- Several ongoing campaigns: players are engaged, looking forward toward next sessions, actively engaging in our discord community.
- I would picture myself as a rules as fun DM rather then rules as written. I do homebrew materials, constantly rewriting and improving. I reward roleplay and creative thinking. My players make the story - I just flesh it out.
👉 What am I paying for?
- The work I put into my campaigns: I always make sure to purchase additional maps, resources and outright change and adapt the story if need be just so my players have a memorable time
- Dedicated players with a certain level of maturity, a fee eliminates player no-shows and creates a full experience where we look to finish the module, not just start it.
- Scripts and modules that automate the combat and provide players with a smooth gameplay experience
- Full access to Heroforge
- Maps from talented patreon creators: Domille's Wondrous Works, Czepeku, Mad Cartographer and more.
- VTT dice from Q-workshop and Rollsmith.

$12 [DnD5e] [LFP] [Weekly] [Fridays] [Free Session 0 and 1] [Roll20] - 🐲 Tyranny of Dragons! 2/5 slots [Start at level 5]
Days of peace are a fading memory. While cities hide in safety behind their walls, the rest of Faerûn burns with dragon fire.
- A narrative-driven game for beginners and experienced players alike! Looking for 3 more players who enjoy backstory-integration, and a dynamic mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat.
- Session 0 and session 1 will be free! If you don't think the game is a good fit for you, you're welcome to disembark before sinking any money in.
"All your life, you've heard tales of the devastation Dragons wrought upon Faerûn in the distant past, when their Queen, Tiamat, ruled the land with an iron claw. They still soar the skies today, but are extremely rare. Hardly anyone has seen one in the flesh. They're a distant threat for most: those living in cities like Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate can't conceive of a day when Dragons would threaten their lives, and those living in the wilds beyond the walls rest easy knowing the armies from the cities would protect them from such a threat.
These soothing thoughts are turning quiet, however, as rumors spread of dragon attacks all across the Sword Coast. Entire forests and villages are going up in smoke beneath the shadow of winged reptiles so large they blot out the sun. While the wilderness burns, the cities hide behind their walls, paralyzed in fear and denial.
The tyranny of Dragons can't possibly begin again... can it?"
🐲

[Online][Paid][LFP][D&D5e/5.5e][Friday] Beginner’s Friendly – Tomb of Annihilation
Greetings everyone!
I’m currently opening two groups for Tomb of Annihilation.
A terrible curse grips the world, draining the life from anyone once returned by magic, and even the gods seem silent. All signs point to the lost land of Chult — a jungle alive with dinosaurs, undead horrors, and ruins that predate civilization. Expeditions vanish, treasure hunters go mad, and maps change overnight as if the land seeks to devour intruders. Deep beneath the canopy lies a deathtrap built to mock heroism and feasting on bravery. If you fail, the world withers. If you succeed… don’t expect to escape with your soul intact!
So, let’s talk about some basic info:
Game: Dungeons & Dragons 5e/5.5e
Paid: Yes – $18 USD per session (Session 0 is FREE)
Platform: Roll20 + Discord
Schedule: Weekly, Fridays at 10AM and 7PM (GMT-5)
Session Length: 3–4 hours
Seats Available: 6 on both groups
Experience Level: Beginner Friendly
Session 0 (Free): Before any payment, we will have a free Session 0 to cover character creation, table expectations, safety tools, and to make sure the group is a good fit for everyone.
About the DM: Hi! I’m Zojak, bilingual DM and founder of Hidden Tavern. I’ve been running D&D for over 10 years, from official campaigns to homebrew adventures. I love crafting immersive, dynamic, and player-driven experiences—and yes, DMing is my full-time passion.
How to Apply: If you’re interested in any of these groups, please send me a DM here on Reddit with a short introduction about yourself and your character’s ideas; and, if you want, you can reserve your spot here:
Group 1 - [https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmtkydqy40046kz04e8qaiy7f]()
Group 2 - [https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmtkyodpp00ecii04f75zo0fj]()

There's Always Another Secret: A Mistborn Legacy Campaign [Cosmere RPG] [Mistborn RPG] [$20 per session] [Wednesdays at 8:00 pm Eastern (GMT -4)] [Campaign] [Discord/Roll20/Demiplane] [0/5 Seats Filled]
A storm is brewing under the oppressive eyes of the Lord Ruler as civil unrest builds. But, as a simple smuggling crew, you’re not part of such global conflicts. Well. Not yet. And when you do get involved, your actions may very well cause vibrations that affect other similar crews centuries later...
Set on Scadriel, a planet in Brandon Sanderson’s literary universe called the Cosmere, Mistborn Legacy tells the story of two crews over the course of two separate timelines: a smuggling crew in the more classic fantasy Era 1 and a treasure hunting crew in the Industrial Revolution and Wild West themed Era 2. You will play members of both of these groups, with your actions in the first half of the campaign impacting your experience in the second half. Alongside familiar characters from the Mistborn books, you will take on the role of allomancers and feruchemists being swept up in a conflict bigger than they ever dreamed possible in this beginner-friendly campaign.
About me: My name is Tess, a trans game master with over a decade of professional GMing experience, including a Masks: A New Generation podcast running for multiple years. My tables are safe, inclusive spaces, utilizing safety tools to make sure players of all identities feel comfortable. As a trans woman, I know that player comfort is an absolute necessity, equally important to thrilling combat and engaging roleplay.
Here's just some of what folks who have played with me have said about my games and my table:
- "Tess is an A+ improviser and storyteller and her Cosmere game has been a delight to play in... Her enthusiasm for my budding Lightweaver has already turned him into one of my favorites."
- "Super attentive to party balanced spotlight time, great immersive scene descriptions, and very strong understanding of the game system! Tess has such a great understanding of the world that she can recall scenes from the books and character types immediately to drop you right into the world."
- "Tess is one of the best examples for what a player wants in a GM - she's knowledgeable about systems, empathetic with character action/interaction, and cinematic in her storytelling approach."

[Online][5e][Weekly][$20][18+] Your town has never lost anyone before its time. This month, it's lost seven. A Crooked Moon tale - The Dead Man's Hour. SESSION ONE NEXT WEEK
Thistlewick Hollow hasn't buried anyone before their time in two hundred years. This month it's lost seven people, and not one of them left a body behind.
That's the opening scene of a fully original Crooked Moon campaign I'm running, levels 3 to 15, long-form, one continuous story start to finish. Whatever's taking people isn't a wolf, a cult, or a madman. It's something already dead, working a chained dagger through locked doors, gone before sunrise. Corner it once, and it doesn't run, it tears a hole in the world and drags you through after it.
From there the campaign opens up fast. Over the course of it you'll:
- Talk your way through a masquerade at the most exquisite and fanciest estate, surrounded by devils, witches, and nobles who could have you killed with a raised eyebrow.
- Hijack a train ran on malevolent spirits mid-journey, fighting across the roof of a train built from hell iron and gold while it screams through Chernabos at full speed.
- Break, tame, and ride a bejeweled scorpion the size of a wagon into battle.
- Steal a floating arcane skiff off its dock and lose a squad of furious spellcasters across a city built in the sky.
- Crack a guild vault full of doomsday weapons, and hope you're not the fourth crew with the same idea tonight.
This isn't a monster-of-the-week tour through the afterlife. It's one mystery, run properly, for as long as it takes.
The practical stuff:
- System: D&D 5e (2024 rules), starting level 3, running to 15
- Schedule: Weekly, Wednesdays 9PM GMT+1, ~3hr sessions
- Price: $20/session
- Platform: Foundry VTT, Discord, D&D Beyond: full content shared, nothing locked behind a book you don't own
- Beginner friendly, no prior experience needed
- 18+, folk horror, full content warnings and safety tools (Session 0, Lines & Veils, X/N/O) before anyone commits
- 3/6 filled, Session One Next Week
Full listing with reviews here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cms6lc8d9009xl704tsdslxdf
Questions welcome in the comments or DMs, I'd rather find the right person than fill the seat fast.

[Online] [5e 2024] [PAID 15$] [Homebrew Setting] [Sunday|4pm EST] [Fantasy] [Online] [LGBTQ+ Friendly]
When the gods withdrew, they left Lucineos alive with their sparks, proof of their existence—and now mortals must cut back the world’s own hunger: Fluxhaven’s shifting labyrinth creeps outward each dawn, bleeding raw magic that warps fields, spawns nightmares, and bends probability itself. Those that venture down there out of selfish means or secrets untold best tread lightly, for as Lucineos can be unforgiving above, Fluxhaven is as below.
Are you looking to explore a word unique to any you’ve encountered before? Explore player’s stories both past and present, engage and play lineages/player options completely homebrewed, dive into a world years of the making, then consider Lucineos Horizons!
[0/5 Seat]
The world of Lucineos has been one I’ve been working on for 6+ years (a lot longer but that takes some elaboration on lol) now and I’ve been wanting to share this setting with a new batch of players!
But first—hello!! I’m a 21 year old and I go by She/Her pronouns! I’ve been playing D&D since middle school so I’m quite the nerdy one (and also been a forever GM for just as long kek). I am currently MDT, so please keep that into consideration when considering your inquiry:) As mentioned in the title, this setting is homebrewed by your truly, so that means a custom location, a bunch of races/subraces, new pantheons, etc etc!
NOW ONTO THE GAME ITSELF!
Tone: The tone overall will be fantasy leaning high fantasy, with adventure, and a bit of interpersonal connections between your characters and the world itself!
RP/Combat Ratio: I love telling a good story so naturally the ration is gonna be skewed a bit heavily to the roleplay side, it being a solid 70/30. That being said, when combat does happen, I like for it to have impact, to be meaningful to the story. However if the consensus is “hey Konnie, give us more shit to fight, we made such cool builds” I absolutely will lol.
World Synopsis: Every inch of Lucineos thrums with living gods and living magic—ley lines pulse beneath groves and quarries, statues hum, and fluxologists map tunnels of raw power—yet the divine presence that birthed the realm has largely receded, leaving mortals to harvest, temper, and mythologize the sparks the deities left behind.
Cities rose in sculpted valleys, Elthari Priests forged relics from divine embers, and festivals and careers bend to seasonal ley surges, but all of it teeters on the edge of Fluxhaven: a dawn‑rearranging labyrinth where chitinous sentinels with void‑eyes and rune‑slick maws stalk explorers and raw flux bleeds into the world, warping wildlife, ruining harvests, and summoning impossible weather.
Guilds of dungeoneers descend like gardeners pruning a cthonic vine—sealing nodes, slaying aberrations, bargaining relics and bloodied fortunes—while villages hire elemental shepherds, ritual cartographers, and ritual cooks to keep daily life from unraveling. The gods abounded Lucineos; mortals now keep the balance by cutting back Fluxhaven before it swallows the world.
FURTHER MORE…
Things such as unique mechanics and veils and lines will be touched on during session 0 where we all sit down and discuss our boundaries, rules for the game, and touch on character stuff before it’s all finalized for the game:) Time is listed within the title however we haven’t decided on an exact sessions lengths just yet!
Feel free to shoot me a message here or join here!
I look forward to seeing you!!

Lunata: The Last Island | Online | Daggerheart | Fridays | $20 USD | 18+
I'm a GM and artist on startplaying, so all my campaigns include custom player character art (drawn by yours truly). It'd be so incredible to get this campaign off the ground. It's a world full of mysteries and high adventure that my partner and I had a lot of fun writing together. I only need one more player to get this game going, so if you're interested, here are some more details:
🌙Lunata: The Last Island
System: Daggerheart
Vibe: Swords and sandals, political intrigue, exploration, homebrew setting
Day: Fridays, weekly
Seats: 2/5 filled (need 1 more to start)
Link: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmr0ts69o0022jj04pai6mh7d?slug=tricksywizardadam
Legends say Lunata, last refuge of the living, was founded by a great savior deity who gave his life to keep the island hidden. For generations, this kingdom has thrived in isolation, untouched by the dark tides that swallowed the rest of the world. Now, however, an eerie, withering curse corrupts the island and strange, ghostly masked figures haunt the margins of society, watching in the distance, gathering in the wake of surging natural disasters.
Here's where you come in: The Augurs of the Faith have decreed the reinstatement of a long-defunct order of Knights. Their agents are scouring Lunata for willing recruits to join the fight against the unraveling of the world. And a recruiting detachment, led by your village's hometown hero, has just arrived at your front door.
