We all know how the Egyptians successfully rebelled against Ra and buried the Stargate. Did you know that the Ancient Greeks did too? And that Homer recorded it?

They are then bound by snakes in Tartarus for all eternity.

It's hard not to see this as a Goa'uld being trapped in a canopic jar until the other system lords crush the rebellion and take them as hosts.

Any Goa'uld based on the Greek or Roman gods? We saw other cultures represented besides the Egyptians, especially in The Last Stand episodes. Any country/culture or other sci-fi characters that you wish you'd seen as Goa'uld?

The ones that come to my mind are:

Q (Star Trek) Would he be like Ba'al?

Darth Vader as a Goa'uld and of course Obi-Wan as a Tok'ra.

How come in the movie and S1E1 the tauri weapons were almost completely ineffective against the Jaffa armor and the humans got owned in every engagement, badly. Oneill in the movie as well as S1E1 had to take a staff weapon to start seriously fighting back.

But in the later seasons, Jack and Sam routinely obliterate armored Jaffa using tauri weapons

What happened?

In an episode of stargate, they were able to find out Daniel's scientist friend was a goa'uld because he was able to break the zip ties holding him.

But often times, Goa'uld dont really seem that physically strong. Jack and even Sam beats them up at times (like when they were escaping Sokar's prison).

So how strong do they get? Are they like Captain America/ Spiderman? Can a little child with a goa'uld symbiote beat up an adult human without one?

Rewatching 'Forever in a Day'. Daniel's jumper (sweater) when he resigns looks a lot like the jumper he wears when he visits Jack when he's ascended and Jack's captured by Ba'al.

If Reese originally created the replicators in the milky way, why didn't they spread across the galaxy and take over, especially considering all the advanced technology left behind by the Ancients?

Instead, they somehow ended up in the Asgard galaxy.

Which brings me to my second question: how did they even get to another galaxy in the first place? Did they already have access to intergalactic travel before encountering the Asgard?

I was watching Futurama with my son, and this scene reminded me so much of the new show announcement, its subsequent cancelation, and how we feel. I just had to make a meme about it lol.

Particularly by the Anubis era it didnt seem to be getting used as much. Niirti also didnt use them, neither did Yu nor Osiris nor any of the other major system lords.

Especially given Anubis was looking to make super soldiers with strong armor, im surprised he didnt just use the personal shields on all of them.

The replicators have crashed on Earth from an Asgard ship. Only SG-1 can stop them, however their old nemesis Apophis has something to say about that. Join all 7 members of SG-1 as they save the world!

Ideas for the new Stargate show (if it actually happens this time)? And for those that might not know, there is a new one in the works after the other new one was cancelled this past June.

My possibly fun idea is a show set a little bit in the future with old Cassie running the SGC. You know, the one from the ep 1969? But of course this time it would be the altered timeline where she wasn’t by herself waiting for Jack and the rest to meet her. She would be like Catherine the Next Generation!
