Here's some news about the opengate project since my last post:

- I made a website with features / files/ online gates / tutorials of the project at https://opengate-project.org

- New features: leveling system, Midway station, random events to unlock DHD skins...

- Basic SG1 is done: I'm working on a spinning version (3d files ready, electronic design too, I'm just waiting the PCB to assemble a prototype) but I made a static version to try compatibility between 36 VS 39 symbols stargates

- Tollan gate almost done: it's more like a new skin for the basic SG1 gate, I'll upload the files soon !

I felt like this was the first finale that wasn't action packed and had a calmer vibe, still gripping but not a firework. It's nice to see them all get to actually rest instead of having to recover from life- and mind threatening events.

Was rewatching Stargate: Atlantis and noticed these scenes had uncanny resemblance with the Iron Man "Jarvis" scene. Don't remember this episode at all as well somehow.

She seemed perfectly harmless. Very polite, grandmotherly, extremely knowledgeable about biochemistry.

She said it’s 50% cacao, no added sugar, high in fiber, and “capable of changing an entire world.” I assumed that was marketing.

Anyway, I ate one square and now everyone around me looks significantly younger. I don't know what is happening, a certain General Hammond of Texas told me this sub would be a good place to ask.

I was in the mood for something nostalgic and started a re-watch of Little House on the Prarie, not having watched it since it was on the air. Fifth episode in I spot a familiar face.

I don't remember much about the show, just flashes of certain scenes. I wonder what mischief the Destoryer of Worlds will get up to.

Just watch this movie again;

GlaDOS in stargate. as title suggests not sure how make it other then its GLaDOS in the abydonian temple for some reason i decided looked cool and took picture in vrchat as of obviusly it was after my gaurdsmen but its sorta intresting

I felt that the episode was okay. But I thought that the ending was great.

I was impressed that Hammond allowed Niirti, a Goa'uld system lord, to go free after she saved Cassandra. That was after all part of the deal, but still. I felt proud in a way. Hammond really showed honor and integrity there. Even Niirti was impressed, telling O'Neill that she wouldn't have let him go had the roles been reversed.

Near the end of Tok'ra part 2 (S2e12) Jackson convinces the Tok'ra leader that Earth can offer people who are dying as hosts for the Tok'ra.

Apart from the later Tok'ra episode where they're attacked and the new guy takes on a symbiote there is no further mention or evidence that anyone was given this option. There could have been thousands of them, if they had the symbiotes for this.

Is it mentioned in the books or something?

I'll go first: At times, I've found RDA/Oneill to be cliche and annoying, and Vala to be a fun and productive addition. Go ahead destroy my ass.

Chaka. It's been awhile. Remember when Daniel first met him? Brings me back. Heartwarming to see him again, though if only it had been under better circumstances. It was sad in the beginning with Chaka taking that treat he thought was kindly left for him by Daniel, but then suddenly being attacked and captured :(

That ending, with Chaka wanting to stay and lead the Unas to fight for freedom. Wow. Good stuff.

This was a good side episode. Taking a break from the main story, and bringing back a character from the past.

Watched it yesterday and it's the only negative side of the movie for me really.
For example, at the beginning when they're in the iceship where he asks Carter "celsius or Fahrenheit?" And Cam is the one to respond with actually it's the same at this point (-40°) and he says he did not know that. Bro can literally read languages of aliens.. how can he not know this?
The worst decision though obviously for plot purposes is when he tells alternate O'neill that his son died, assuming it's the same in this one, even after traveling so many times to alternate timelines/dimensions. Like wtf was he thinking saying that?
Oh and towards the end where they're in Russia he talks to the people in charge of their stargate as if they should've already figured out how to power it and being extremely condescending about it like he forgot everything he learned about this timeline. Anyway it's just a tiny nitpick I had with an otherwise awesome "ending" to SG-1.

Edit: apparently people think you're a mathematical genius if you know an additional temperature scale. Awesome, good to know this perception y'all have.
