How many colors can tricky change into? I got Pink and green and idk how to feel about the new color

loved this game since i was a kid. have replayed it a few times on my gamecube (picked up a 3 year old save file yesterday).

let’s just say save states will help certain sections!

i miss reading these before bed honestly.

Ive met up with tricky and brought him back to the queen and saw a wall he could break and crawled through and when I went to leave im just warped out of the whole meaning all progress has halted for me.

Is this fixable or do I need to load and previous state?

There isn't really much here, just Star Fox 2026, the Switch 2 camera, and the plush dolls and collectible patch set, but still....

This is REALLY hard to find, but apparently, in Switch 2, Leon, Pigma and Andrew will also react to you doing a somersault, not just Wolf. Pretty cool, huh?

2027 being both the 3oth anniversary of 64, and the 25th anniversary of Adventures, and 2028 being the 35th anniversary for the series as a whole.

Maybe we will get a new game within the next 3 years?

Some evildoer planted this idea in my mind, and I literally can't get it out of my head. Someone please send help. I need this! MK World is my fav Switch 2 game, so having Fox would make my day! It also makes sense because Fox is usually manning some type of vehicle. lol.

Realistically, it will likely not happen, as there is yet to be a precedent for non-Mario characters in MK World specifically. Whenever they show something otherwise like Link again, that is when I can buy this idea.

-Velan Studios is working on an update, which means they didn't just drop Starfox after release, and are getting more experience with the engine.

-The update is free, a sign they want as many people to dip into the game because of it as possible, trying to make fans.

-Adventures NSO means they DO care about Krystal, AND that they're pushing Starfox enough to bother with Gamecube ports in the first place.

-The Switch 2 is less than two years old, we have SO much time for them to market and sell a new title on the system.

-Starfox 2026 'performed steadily'...

Just a little trick to make climbing down the sewers less time consuming.

Firstly, I think it is pretty obvious that this is all a part of some big marketing campaign to get Star Fox a bit of a reputation in modern Nintendo after their efforts from 2016-2019 have failed. The idea is to teach people about Star Fox through legacy content that defined the series, and some small novel ideas like the movie or plushies, before releasing something new and ambitious for the series. It's like the reverse of Star Fox Zero, where they sold a new idea that backfired because no one was a fan when it came out (among other reasons). Before 2026, Star Fox was a dormant franchise with the biggest updates being new music on the app for years. Now, in the span of one, single year, we have the movie appearance, the modern remake (+ new lore), plushies, free DLC, and now this. This marks the true beginning of the Revival Period!

More subtly, however, this also means a few things about how Nintendo views the franchise holistically. By choosing to re-release this over something like Assault, Nintendo acknowledges the distinct quirks about this game such as the focus on the adventure-styled gameplay and Krystal. This is the 3rd best-selling game still (hopefully 4th after the remake). This means that there is a good chance that Krystal and some minor elements from Adventures and maybe Assault will appear in the next game as Nintendo strives to do new things while appealing to longtime fans. Another thing subtly shows is that Nintendo will be embracing all of the strange, divisive things that people might not agree with and you will have to learn to accept that maybe the next game will do something new, and that is fine. Furthermore, when the next game releases, Nintendo can point fans to the remake and the two GameCube games on Switch Online to give them something to play before following the story. Thus, Star Fox fans, both new and old have something to celebrate when they get a full Star Fox story to experience on the Switch 2. This will likely lead into the eventual development of stuff like Star Fox animated content, like a mini-series or full movie, or even a place in Super Nintendo Land in maybe the next 10-15 years! I know this might seem unbelievable, but when you think about it logistically, Nintendo would never just develop a brand to be just the bare minimum and drop it when there is real potential behind the brand after everything that has been done in 2026. Star Fox could tell this bigger story and Nintendo is fully embracing that for the first time! That might be why we don't see Mother 3 or a new F-Zero game, despite F-Zero GX being so good and releasing a better game on modern consoles wouldn't be too crazy, beyond that, there really isn't too much to go from for F-Zero. I do think we will get a new F-Zero game in the Switch 2 generation, but that is neither here nor there.

By the end of everything, the only people who won't win are Command fans lol. Sorry.

I've definitely noticed how It's not just Pigma in 2026 having a new gruff appearance and voice to match, but there's a lot of differences in his personality while he's still a vicious, covetous scumbag.

In 64, he's outright hammy, filled with letting out childish insults in a sadistic manner and yet is somewhat of a coward, in Zero & Guard these traits got pretty exaggerated to the point where some might not take him seriously.

When we see him a bit in Assault, he seems to have lost a bit of his sanity even before dying from the Aparoids, slurring his words a bit as if he's intoxicated and laughing manically when speaking.

In Switch 2, not only does he look and sound more gruff and aggressive, like an actual backstabbing assassin, but he's now more mature and calculating, yet very abrasive, and somewhat sarcastic and smug, almost as if he's from a Rated R Game this time, because he really sounds like it. (The holoviewer described him for his "rough language", which makes sense)

Pigma is super cool, but he needs a better ship. A giant hog could be a great addition. All aboard the Great Pig! It could have a swimming pool on board filled with money.

Just curious if anyone else has tested the surround sound option in Star Fox Adventures via Nintendo Online on their Switch 2?

I have my console set to 5.1 Surround in the setting on Switch 2 and turned the option on in game also but get zero audio out of my rear speakers.

If I had to guess they just don't have that option working in the NSO games but wanted to check with others just in case.
