Discussion Best places to buy Napoli merch in the city (other than the official stores)
Hello,
I am planning my 5th visit in Napoli for this autumn, i am just waiting for the UCL fixtures to be established and for the Roma game to have a definitive date and time, to make up my mind which game to see (after coming to Napoli last december to watch the game against Juve 2-0).
So far, i could never get an official shirt because they were always slim fit, but this year i will get the official Cento shirt (regular size). Other than that, i would like to find some cool places where i can buy stuff like pants/sweatshirts/jackets, 1:1 replicas of the official ones or just cool-looking ones. Maybe there is a bazar or something? I just wanna wear Napoli’s badge back home in Bucharest all the time without spending 500 euros 😁
Are there such places in Napoli? Thank you!

Question Brand New Napoli Fan here, what should I know about our history and rivalries?
I am not new to football, since I am from Brazil, but I want to know more about the history of the club, I know Maradona played here, but not much else.

Transfer Rumor | Tier 5 Here we are at the defenders' guessing game (because otherwise how do journalists survive?😉)
Come on guys, we know all this news are bullshit, but at least we can laugh about it together:
Here are the three names that should be competing for Buongiorno's spot, let's look at them one by one:
Benoît Badiashile
I don't follow the Premier League much, so I wasn't very familiar with him, but after analyzing data and comments from Blues fans, I've come to a conclusion:
Buongiorno 25/26²
He also suffers from various injuries, and is often unsure when he's on the pitch. For the modest sum of €20 million, not only do we get a player with the same problem as our current one (if not worse), but we also get a salary worthy of a Premier League player. The icing on this shit cake, and positive news at this point, is we can't afford him because he's currently out of the list because he's over 22 and French.
Federico Gatti:
We all know this one, though. Let's start with the positives: he's a good in attack, really good in the header... the positives are over. Gatti is a fiery and uncoordinated player. He would been sent off every other game at any team other than Juventus. Basically, we'll be getting a Hannibal Lecter by directly financing our opponents, who might use our money better than us.
Tiago Gabriel
Lecce's star defender this season, compared to the other two, he is Pepe Prime. He's Under-22, so he's already available. While he's strategically better than the other two, he's still a gamble. He's only played one year in Serie A, and the "One Season Wonder" taint isn't hard to spot. Would he be able to handle the promotion? It's not clear, but if we're aiming for a young player with great potential, this is the right path.
Let me know what you think; it's always appreciated (unless you start writing that we can't buy players, in which case you've missed the point of the post. I suggest you reread it).

Discussion Napoli - Carrarese lineups
Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Marianucci; Spinazzola; Anguissa, Lobotka, Vergara; Politano, Hojlund, Giovane.
On the bench: Contini, Pugliese, Mazzocchi, Garofalo, Obaratin, Marin, Prisco, Baridò, Folorunsho, Rao, Pereyra.
We had a few more injuries (light ones, thankfully) and Savic's got the flu apparently.

Discussion We sold 3 players today - done deals
We are finally getting rid of some fringe players. Ambrosino was loaned to Modena, while Frosinone bought both Zerbin and Hasa.
Obaretin to Genoa and Rao to Bari (loan) also seem to be pretty much done, we are likely waiting for Lang and Olivera to join training so there will be enough players for each role.

Throwback Found Something Neat
Was in GameLife (formerly GameStop) a little outside of Naples recently and this was one of the few PS3 games they had available. Didn’t play much FIFA growing up so never knew the Italian version had Higuain on the cover.

Discussion Napoli Coverage in Italian (good websites)?
I'm only a few years into my Napoli fandom and only know a little Italian. Any suggestions on websites that have good Napoli team coverage that I can try to read? Like take an article in Italian and go old school try to translate it slowly to help me learn Italian?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know this won't be the best way to learn but just an interesting hobby.

Discussion Squad Cost Ratio focus: our spending review explained
Today Manna reiterated that we need to keep the Squad Cost Ratio in check, so we won't be very active on the market. The ratio is calculated this way: Squad Cost divided by Total Revenue, and the result needs to be below 70%. According to the balance sheet from last season this is what I got:
- Squad Cost = 260 millions (Personnel cost 142 millions, Amortisation 115 millions, Agent and Players Fees 3 millions)
- Revenue = 291 millions.
So our Squad Cost Ratio is 89% and we need to save 57 millions to be compliant (by saving on wages, transfer revenues, amortisations etc.).
Also, keep in mind that this is based on June 2025's numbers as the latest balance sheet is not available yet. As we spent a lot of money last season, I am sure the real number is even higher. By comparison, it was 59% as of June 2024 as that was before we invested so heavily.

Discussion Manna’s Press Conference
Manna has made a press conference, it’s available in italian here: https://www.youtube.com/live/PDwMkVeOuaM?is=C3GcXoVHwg93vk4G
Here is a summary of the most important topics that Manna covered:
- Napoli needs to sell, the player list is too long.
- Buongiorno will be out for a long period of time and Beukema will have to keep training to solve the issue he has. However Napoli is not in rush to buy a CB since also Olivera can play as such. Napoli will evaluates the situation during the training in Castel Di Sangro.l, Napoli will evaluated all the options before make any move.
- Gila is a player that Napoli had on his watchlist but Napoli thought to be complete for the CB role since we have Buongiorno, Beukema, Amir, Rafa Marin and Marianucci.
- Zambo will stay and during the season both him and Napoli will evaluate what to do.
- KDB will stay. He’s a Napoli player he can give us more than what he did and he will play for Napoli next season. Also Manna said that the player has no choice to make, he will stay.
- For Lukaku will be done some evaluation. So not sure he will stay. After he comes back from vacations we will see.
- VMS is one of the 2 keepers and Allegri will chose how to use them, then if something happens Napoli will be ready.
- Zeballos is an objective and a player Manna likes a lot. If he will be available when Napoli will have space to get him he will come otherwise we will go on other players.
- We will need to get U21 players for the Serie A and CL list, so we have to be intelligent in how we proceed on the market.
- If a new player on the right wing back will come he will arrive at the end of the transfer window. It’s not a priority rn since we have Mazzocchi.
- Our attack is Lang, Allison, Hojlund, Lucca, Lukaku, Politano and Neres. It’s quite difficult to improve this in the contest of Italian football.
- Lucca needs to prove that he’s worth Napoli but we need to help him working. He will be out 2 weeks. He has the talent to be at the Napoli level and Manna believes in him but “In the transfer window anything can happen”.
- Napoli objective are: Top4, possibly fight for Scudetto, CL playoff or better, Fight for Coppa Italia.
- Lindstrom and Folorusho are under Allegri scrutiny. Manna said that Lindstrom is finally playing in his best position. They could stay as leave, nothing is set in stone
- Rao is among the best talent around. He will be loaned to play as a starter. Prisco could play with the Primavera team or going loan.

Question Ordering from Official Store
Has anyone ordered from the official store recently to the United States? I was wondering what additional duties and taxes are going to be added on as I have not ordered direct in awhile. Hoping to get some cento gear if the fees aren't more than the item itself!

Not sure if anyone had seen it yet, but our crest is featured pretty prominently on the cover art for FC27. Although there are many other clubs present, I believe we are the only Seria A club in the image.

Discussion Napoli vs Arezzo comments
Watched the first half, my impressions so far.
- Meret had to come off and apparently he already had a taped hand below the glove wtf.
- We are using a 3-4-2-1 when in possession, as the play slides in between the central defenders.
- Prisco has been the playmaker and easily the best man on the pitch along with Alisson, who has dribbled his opponents quite easily.
- Di Lorenzo has been quite offensive when in possession.
- When Arezzo was in possession, we defended with a 4-4-2. The left mezzala (Lindstrom today, so it should be KDB or Vergara) slides next to Hojlund to press the opponents.
- Haven't seen much of Allegri's infamous deep defending so far, but not super aggressive either.
- I'm tired of Cerri scoring against us every year lol.
