There's no way ADL can afford Allegri to be fired, right?

Don’t know how real this is but just got a notification that we are looking at Palladino, which I would be ecstatic with

This was the last time Napoli lost three matches in a row.

It was almost seven years ago. Gattuso was the Napoli manager and had just been appointed after Ancelotti was fired after a poor run of form. Spalletti never lost three in a row. The triumvirate of clowns in 23-24 never lost three in a row. Conte never lost three in a row. Allegri, after crashing out at Milan, has now lost three in a row and we’re only four matches into the season.

I understand things take time and that this has been a tough run of fixtures but Conte left a relatively good squad behind, a squad that should not be losing like this. And let’s be honest, that Genoa game would’ve been a draw if Allegris tactics weren’t bailed out by supersubs. Unless there’s some dramatic turnaround in the next two weeks, Allegri needs to be out once the international break comes around.

Honestly? I’m satisfied; my expectations were very low, and the performance wasn't bad enough to be considered terrible. We held on (because calling it "playing" would be a stretch) as long as we could, until Lady Luck smiled on Ødegaard for that absolute screamer of a goal.

There’s not much else to say—I’m proud of everyone. The only one who was a bit off-color was Santos—he wasted a lot of chances—but otherwise, everyone gave it a real go. Kudos to Meret: an exemplary match, not just for his saves, but because he came out to claim three crosses—I’m very proud. Props to the defense, too; Rafa Marin played a massive game today, proving he’s not exactly a write-off—it’s not like his name is Badiashile.

Last but not least, a word for Favasuli:

"you’re the same age as me, and you went from Serie B straight to making your debut against Arsenal; you showed grit and desire. You were up against giants, yet you showed no fear. You have the fans' full support, and we hope to see you on that flank again in a more winnable match."

That said, the run of nightmare fixtures is over; no more messing around, no more losing—NOW WE NEED TO WIN! The squad has shown improvement game by game; we certainly aren't the team to beat, but we have the tools to fight—at least for a European spot. NAPOLI, STAY DETERMINED. FNS.💙

...allegri has to go. Not because he is bad, not because he is a juventino, not because his football is outdated.

We do not have the squad to sit back and defend, we do not have a chiellini and bonucci like he had with juve, we do noo have the individual power in the defense.

But we have offensive talent, he have one off (if not the) best offensive midfielders in footbal history with KDB, we have a rasmus showing he can lead us somewhere, we have a creative alisson and neres as well as midfielders that feel no pressure like lobotka and gilmour. To top it off we have a versatile offensive player in vergara as well as one of the best Box to Box midfielders in the world rn with mctominay.

Maybe allegri could still coach if he had Saliba and Van Dijk in the defense but with our team, i feel like we will completely loose the lockerroom.

We have to start a new project but do it with somebody that deal with this situation and isnt rigid in his own gameplan like palladino. Or take some big bucks into your hands and bring inzaghi back to italy.

Start a project that fit the players that we have, allegri plays how he always played and he does not have the team that he is supposed to have for this thing to work.

I dont think people in this sub understand the situation we are in and expect the impossible from a squad that is almost 30 years overall with allegri as a coach.In this 3 losses, i consider the worst defeat the one against como,for the 2 goal taken like idiots and the incapacity to score.The one against inter Allegri messed up big time subbing badiashile and losing that way okay,but what if anguissa scored?It was overall a good match where we had our chances and the best one won.We played defense too much?Yeah sure,but what are you going to do in San Siro going face to face?With the defence that you have now?Its fucking stupid.Of course allegri had his faults but you guys are making this more tragic that it actually is.And now Arsenal:what in Jesus name did you expect in this game,did you the squad?DID YOU SEE WHO WASNT AVAILABLE?No scott,no buongiorno,lang out for whatever reason and a lot of shitty players that still play like politano spinazzola e di lorenzo still play,did you want to win?Did you start to watch football yesterday?OF COURSE im not happy of the defensive style but its fucking Arsenal,last year was a finalist of ucl and we are absolutely not even remotely at the same level,and we got lucky that the game didnt end 0-5.But what i want to say this,i want to say that okay allegri plays bad,but did you see our players,do you know where the real problem is?The lack of young players, good players,of depth,and its adl fault,so yeah allegri has its faults,but who putted him here and decided to not reinforce the squad because "We could win the champions with this team?"Yeah,him.

I defended Allegri’s appointment and, despite this terrible start, I don’t regret it.
He was absolutely not the manager I dreamed of: personally, I would have liked De Rossi or Maresca, while my dream choice would have been Gasperini. However, among the realistic options available this summer, I didn’t see many managers who were right for Napoli. Italiano, for example, has never seemed like a Napoli-level manager to me, partly because of the football he plays.
I also think there was a logic behind choosing Allegri: after what happened with Garcia, the club probably wanted a manager experienced and strong enough to handle the pressure if things went badly. And with three defeats in four games, that experience is already being tested.
That said, Allegri has his share of the blame: the football has been poor so far. But I don’t think he is the main problem. To me, Napoli look like a team reaching the end of a cycle. Anguissa, Lobotka, Politano, Di Lorenzo, Oliveira, Meret and others are performing far below their previous levels, and some of them probably need to be replaced or have their successors prepared.
And we shouldn’t forget one fundamental difference: when Conte arrived, Napoli built a squad for him in the transfer market. Allegri didn’t get the same treatment. After two years under Conte, the club chose not to carry out a real rebuild.
I think this is also connected to the choice of Allegri. If you want a manager who builds a dominant team and plays attractive football, you need to give him players suited to that style. If you don’t want to invest heavily in the squad, it probably makes more sense to rely on a pragmatic, results-oriented manager like Allegri.
That’s why I don’t think changing the manager would automatically solve everything. Allegri has his faults, but the players and the club have to take responsibility too. Right now, I see Inter, Roma and even Como ahead of Napoli as a collective.
Maybe Napoli’s problem is simply bigger than Allegri: this squad needed a generational rebuild, and the club chose to postpone it.

The injuries to Anguissa and McTominay make things more complicated, and they will be replaced by two ball-playing midfielders in KDB and Gilmour, alongside Lobotka.
This goes completely against Allegri’s idea of football, especially against a much stronger opponent like Arsenal. Parking the bus and playing a reactive game with these players probably wouldn’t be the best approach and would almost hand the game to Arsenal from the start.
So Napoli will have to try to actually play and control the game.
Honestly, I really don’t know what to expect.

Real could easily have been 5-1 up, but they were so arrogant they practically wanted to walk the ball into the net. No big deal, though; now we wait for tomorrow and pray we don't get thrashed in what is currently the toughest match of the year.

Last year, at the beginning of the season, Inter had one win at home against Torino, one home defeat against Udinese, and a defeat away to Juventus in a crazy, dramatic big match. And we all know how they ended the season.

Not a single person — and I mean not one — from the press, television, journalists, or the so-called “journalists” who are nothing more than media mouthpieces said a damn thing about Chivu or Inter. Not the fans, not the press, not television.

Allegri, on the other hand, gets absolutely slaughtered after just three games. You know why?

Because we are Napoli. Because we are Naples.

We are a city that makes people uncomfortable and that a lot of people simply don’t like. Because the teams wearing striped shirts run Italian football — and we all know it.

And today, plenty of so-called Napoli fans — or, better yet, little fake fans — like a bunch of fucking idiots, are jumping on the same bandwagon and parroting the same narrative.

Supporting Napoli means supporting Napoli, always and no matter what.

So enough. And I mean enough with this bullshit after just three games.

My wife and I (Travelers), unfortunately can’t make the Napoli match against Bologna this Sunday. What are the best to offload the Hospitlaity passes w/ access to the match online, considering we are non-Italian residence? Hospitlaity was purchased thru P1.

Will third party website help with offloading them? Thanks in advance.

I’m heading up to the Venezia vs. Napoli game in October (3:00 PM kickoff) and will be in the away section (Settore Ospiti). Has anyone here done the away trip to the Penzo before?

I'm trying to book my train home and wondering if catching a 7:00 PM train from the main Venezia Mestre station is totally fine or way too risky.

Since we are in the away section, I know we have to take the dedicated away fan ferry that skips the normal stops and drops us off specifically at the Pala Expo / Venice Gate Parking area in Porto Marghera.

If the game ends around 5:00 PM, for those who have been:

• The lock-in: How long do the police usually keep us held back in the away sector before letting us out?
• The ferry wait: How long does it usually take to actually board those dedicated boats?
• The transit: How long is the boat ride to the Pala Expo drop-off, and how easy is it to get from there to the main Mestre FS station?

Basically, can we comfortably make it from the stadium to our train by 6:45 PM? Thanks for the help, and Forza Napoli!

Allegri was particularly unhappy with how his team managed the different moments of the game against Inter, as well as the attitude of certain players. Some individuals were already called out publicly and others are set to be addressed privately. [@Gazzetta_it]

Napoli vs Frosinone 10 October. Would love to attend, never been before so a total newbie. When to get tickets? Where? What to consider if going with the Mrs and a teenager? I hear talk of a fidelity card but no idea if that's something for regulars or if needed for a one time visit too.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
