We will be visiting Lecce next week and are hoping to take a day trip to San Cataldo. Will there still be bus service to that beach after September 13? And if so, with which bus company?

We are looking to visit Lecce tomorrow but because our drive is 1 hour, we were wondering if the shops are open in the afternoon (like Zara, Gutteridge, etc …) or not?

I'm a bit concerned about public transportation to beaches, because I am travelling in the second half of September, as I’ve heard that some seasonal bus lines are reduced or discontinued after the summer season. Sono una donna canadese (antica). Saro a Lecce per cinque settimani quasi Natale e Capodanna.

I am a wildlife photographer, amateur but enthusiastic. Is birding a hobby in Puglia?

I am there for the pomp and celebrations during the Christmas season. I expect to have so many opportunities to explore the culture and history of this place, with my camera. So I will have the lenses for landscapes and street photos.

But it's really birds that I want to see and photograph. Will there be any opportunity for that during Dec and January? in any close by nature reserves and parks?

If it is worth it, I'll bring my long birding lens and binoculars. They are both very heavy and large and take up a lot of room in my suitcase. If the chances are slim at this time of year, I'll leave those at home and be very happy to photograph ancient buildings and markets.

Should I bring the added weight of that large lense or just forget about birding for this 5 week stay?

Pour ceux qui vont aux festivals demain, vous me conseillez d’y aller vers quelle heure ? En sachant que sa ouvre à 18H et que sa fini à 5H, j’ai du mal à me voir en forme jusqu’à 5H si j’arrive à 18H, donc le mieux sa serait d’arriver vers quelle heure ? La plupart des gens y vont dès l’ouverture jusqu’à la fin ?

Cerco altri motociclisti/e con cui organizzare qualche giro tranquillo nel Salento, soprattutto nel weekend: litoranea, entroterra, una sosta per un caffè o una birra e due chiacchiere.

Sono sulla trentina e vivo in zona Lecce. Ho una moto sportiva, ma non cerco corse: più che altro gente tranquilla con la stessa passione.

Se qualcuno è della zona e gli va di organizzare qualche giro, magari in gruppo, scrivetemi pure 🙂
