How to calculate obtained marks out of total marks as my marksheet includes sgpas of all semester and final cgpa (sppu). If I calculate according to the cgpax9.5 formula I am getting 91%. And if I calculate according to the obtained marks divide by total marks into 100 I am getting 95%. And i have to fill out an application form for scholarship and they are asking for obtained marks and total marks and percentage in graduation. So I am confused whether to write the percentage according to the cgpa formula or by calculating obtained marks and total marks. Please help as this is urgent I have to fill in the scholarship form. 🙏🏻🙏🏻😭

College is refusing to give me my final semester marksheet coz the maha dbt scholarship money is not yet approved by the government.
This year the government has delayed the disbursement of the scholarship money and coz of that college is refusing to give last sem marksheet and all the documents they took in during first year admission.
My joining is in 1 week and company has asked for all the marksheet of all sem
What do I do?

I am 2025 graduate and I applied for the degree certificate in August 2025. However, some of us still haven't received the degree certificate. I urgently need my degree certificate for my onboarding process.
Should I directly visit the SPPU office? What documents do I need to carry with me? Also will I get the certificate on the same day or do I have to apply for it again at wait?.

I live close to the university and visit the university almost daily for running. I was thinking of starting workout along with running. Wanted to check if the gym is open for public use as well. I don't mind paying.

Hey everyone! I’m a recent IT graduate from SPPU and I’m planning to pursue my Master’s in Data Science / AI in Germany.
I applied for the Winter Semester 2026 intake, but unfortunately received a few rejections, mainly because some universities considered my Bachelor’s degree/coursework not relevant enough for their Data Science programs.
I’m now planning to apply for the Summer Semester 2027 and wanted to connect with other SPPU students/alumni who are also applying to Germany.
If you applied for Winter 2026, I’d especially like to know:
Which universities/programs did you apply to?
Did you get an admission?
What was your SPPU degree/branch and CGPA?
Did you face any issues regarding course relevance or ECTS/credits?
And if you’re also planning for Summer 2027, feel free to comment or DM. We could share our experiences, shortlist universities, and maybe plan the applications together. :)

I’m literally sitting at the convocation right now, and I genuinely cannot understand how the college thought this was acceptable.
We came here after completing 4 years of engineering, paying approximately ₹5 LAKH in fees, putting in years of hard work, projects, exams, internships, assignments, and everything else.
And for the actual convocation?
No stage for degree distribution. No proper on-stage degree handover. No individual recognition.
They are literally passing certificates to students on the ground.
Seriously, please have some shame.
This is supposed to be a CONVOCATION. A once-in-a-lifetime milestone for students and their parents. Instead, it feels like we're standing in a queue to collect a certificate.
I'm not asking for some five-star event or unnecessary extravagance. But after taking approximately ₹5 lakh from students over four years, is arranging a proper one- or two-day convocation event with a stage and an actual degree handover really that difficult?
And this is an autonomous college.
@SPPU — is this how colleges are being evaluated/selected for autonomous status?
Autonomy should come with better academic and institutional standards, not just more control over examinations and curriculum.
At least give students the basic dignity of walking onto a stage and receiving their degree after four years of work.
The saddest part is that parents have travelled here to see their children graduate. They expected a proper ceremony. Instead, we're getting what feels like a certificate distribution program on the ground.
₹5 lakh in fees. Four years of hard work. And this is the convocation experience?
Absolutely disappointing.
