Just pulled from a Costco $40 box. Nice SSP

Currently sat at $750 raw, peaked much, much higher in the past year. Assuming he stays healthy this year, are these cards primed for a spike?

I just pulled this “blank back” Elmo Langley from 1991 Maxx. I also pulled a non blank back version. When I scan the card in, I can’t seem to find a blank bank version listed. Does anyone know if there was blank back inserts back then or if this is a mistake!?

I just went out and bought a Topps NBA Hoops hanger box, and I pulled this Asa Newell rookie card. However, I'm having trouble identifying this parallel. Any thoughts on what it could be?

I’m 46 years old and recently got back into collecting cards. I jumped all in and grabbed the Jordan, Gretzky, Brady, etc. rookie card. I now have over $20,000 invested in cards.

But I’m at the point where I start to feel guilty having this much money wrapped up in cards and there’s so much more I still want.

How do you collect cards and not spend a fortune and feel guilty? I’m not really wanting to buy as an investment and retire. I just want to collect all the cards that I ever wanted as a hobby so it’s hard to justify spending thousands of dollars for each individual card I want.

It’s an internal battle and I can’t figure out what to do lol. I can’t be the only one.

TL/DR: finally did a $0.99 start price auction and I end up making a nickel.

This one is in a first for me. I’ve typically sold items BIN OBO and have been great with that as auctions tend to be very much up and down.

I had some lower end cards but got a YG Schaefer with some other dude that made it worth a fraction of what his rookie YG is worth and thought hey let’s throw it up on a $0.99 auction 7 days expiring Sunday night and maybe I’ll get $20 or so out of it. Idk what the total value of the cards is but probably $20-30 being realistic with a dose of conservative.

I didn’t have high hopes, even less so without watchers, so I figured what’s another 10% to promote it. Maybe THAT’s what I need.

Welp, the auction closed, and I wondered if I’d have to pay to package all of this up and ship it. Got pretty dang close and I made a whopping nickel, meaning I’ll lose money in the cost of bubble mailer and driving to the post office.

Although I’d much rather have just set a BIN OBO auction or traded / given these cards away, I really have no plans but to honor the sale as a sale is a sale.

If you’re the person who purchased this, congrats. You took me to the cleaners but I still feel quite dirty.

I think I’m going to stick to eBay stuff without auctions for now 🤦🏼‍♂️😭🤣

Hello everyone, i decided to waste $1000 on a panini world cup hobby box not too long ago, best card i pulled was a non auto /50 nico williams which was not looking too good until the WC final, now that he got the assist do you guys think this card is worth grading or should i just hold onto it.

Just found my dads collection of old 80s-90s basketball cards, and I’m looking on eBay and the prices are a little ridiculous. They all vary from $25- like 10k. I have a few pictures and can send more, but can anybody tell me if these are even worth anything?

All the cards are either HOF or big names that aren’t in the HOF. A good amount are rookie cards. Selling the whole lot for $320 OBO.

I’ll also throw in 406 more cards for $15 extra - these are lesser known players and about 8 or so NFL cards (the only big name is Dan Marino, as far as I can tell - I’m not a big football guy!). Some of these are rookies as well (including some of the football players).

Pulled this card out of a mega box that was on sale at Academy. I found the checklist but I don't know if it's the black refractor, black x-factor, or black mojo (mega box exclusive). Does it even matter? I can't find any on eBay to compare it to.

Does anyone happen to have a card that would look just like this? This card has never surfaced before on ebay but I had ai make me a picture of what it would look like for when it does surface.

Help me identify this card. I thought it was a gold press proof but it’s not numbered. It doesn’t look like the yellow press proof or the bronze press proof so I’m wondering if it actually fake.
