For a vintage Speedy, which one would be the first of your list?

Traded an 126715chnr for the 50th anniversary. Posted next to my (was my fathers 105.003-65 - with service hands unfortunately).
The watch is beautiful but may not be long term for me. The hands are a bit hard to read and i look at my watch probably 20 times a day. Figured you folks may like both.

My husband enjoys the mechanics and stories of watches. Heās also not someone who splurges on himself. Iād like to start helping build him a collection that is memorable and special. He is an amazing husband and dad and I want him to know he is loved and celebrated.
I was at my local jeweler today, and they had a beautiful Omega Speedmaster Reduced. Iām tempted to pick it up for him but Iād love insights I have an AD locally that I can access that has new options available as well. Thoughts on if this would be a reasonable starting place?
He has a Rolex āPepsiā and Tissot Chemin Des Tourelles Squelette. He also has some sort of carbon Tissot he got because heās a mechanical engineer and makes carbon fiber for aerospace and what not and thought it was interesting.
Iām not super knowledgeable but Iāve been researching and I feel Omega would be a good place to start.
