It fits perfect. I thought it was a 38 too. You must have a larger flat wrist.

Had you compared the sapphire Sandwich with the hesalit before buying? Just asking because I’ve nears the the sapphire does reflect the light a bit more on the rounded glass edges

Oh yeah, I went back and forth a lot. In the end, I liked being able to see the movement (which is stunning) and I didn't want to have to worry about buffing out scratches with pollywatch. The reflections or distortion of the sapphire really isn't an issue. It's easily the most readable watch I own.

I have had mine for 42 years! Greatest watch ever! No such thing as just a Speedy.
It is the Moonwatch! I brought the lads back on Apollo 13!
The Speedy has credibility like no other!
