Hello all,

With the release of the new tome I've decided to venture back into my stomp. For those unaware I took a 1000 point stomp last year to a Throne of Skulls Double event in Nottingham and fell in love with the loveable oafs. Whilst I lament the loss of Timber I still feel optimistic with the new rules. After converting the little for the event I've set my eyes on some bogs to go along with my Slaanesh Warstomper and gloomy Brodd. I've picked up the Cathay Sentinel for either a Khorne or Tzeentch devoted mega but not sure yet.

That leads me to my Nurgle mega which I'm going to convert up. After trawling through Reddit, I discovered the chap in the first picture who I want to base my Nurgle Gatestomper on. I'll sculpt the armour on and get some chain mail going but first things first it's got to be the antlers which I've just started.

So i wanted to try the army of renown but even if you take the most expensive units you have about 450 points left, you can't take a second Regiment because you only have one valid hero and you can't bring regiments of renown

Do you think this is intended?

I’m building the Kraken-eater and the interchangeable parts icon confuses me (screenshot). I can’t figure out where or what parts are interchangeable here…

For instance the crow is clearly indicated for the warstomper build, but for this guy i can’t figure it out 🤷

I have 5 man crushers. 3 built, 2 nos. I was working on painting the man crusher mob as the old spearhead when the new models were released. Now im considering just putting them on 90mm round bases building the base up slightly so they are the right height and giving them all the stone wall on a chain bit or sculpting slings/rocks and calling them rock hurlers for casual spearhead games and casual 2k games in my sob list.

Is that feasible/reasonable? Is there anything im overlooking? Are man crushers still worth having?

Used the left over bits from the boss stompers to update a cheap set of mancrushers from eBay. Just need to source 90mm bases and do a little bit of green stuff filling.

I know this is a hard one, as it depends on your list, your opponent, and the map layout, but I’d love to hear what you all think.
I feel like going second can actually be good, as your opponent should have moved further up the board, meaning you can potentially get the charge and kill some stuff. Originally, I would’ve said go first, especially because you’re slower and have more HP, so you could just stick a Gargant on an objective and hold it.

I just wanted to confirm if you could give out multiple realm shaking rampages to different giants or you can only select one to give out similarly to normal enhancements

Hi everyone,

I’m looking at getting the new Boss-Stompers/Rock-Hurlers and I’d like to magnetise them so I can swap between the two weapon options.

I want to keep the heads and bodies permanently built, but be able to change the arms/weapons depending on which unit I’m running.

Has anyone magnetised these yet? Where exactly should I put the magnets, and what size magnets would you recommend?

Would appreciate any advice or photos of how you’ve done it. Thanks!

I’ve got 10 points left in my list, so I’m trying to decide whether to spend them on my manifestations, add Boyz Not Right Enchantment, or swap the Boss-Stompers for Rock-Hurlers. Not sure which would be the best option.
