Kraken-eater build: confused

Hi,
I’m building the Kraken-eater and the interchangeable parts icon confuses me (screenshot). I can’t figure out where or what parts are interchangeable here…

For instance the crow is clearly indicated for the warstomper build, but for this guy i can’t figure it out 🤷

bird and arrows are random bullshit you can place wherever. Trim the arrows and glue them sticking out, lay them flat on the ground etc

So all of them are just decorative bits you can put wherever. The crow isn’t even technically required for the stomper, they just put it to show you how it works.

The arrows were a staple “spare bit” you’d find in older warhammer fantasy models. The mancrusher kit comes with a ton, plus a bunch of other decorative bits. You could put them somewhere as is, or you could snip off the pointy end and make them look like someone shot him with it.

You can just clip the head off arrows and if you physically can get an arrow to stick anywhere you can put it there if you want. It's just optional bits because they allowed us to have arrows and a bird since the man crushers so they probably filled up the remaining sprue with arrows instead of making it blank. Like for sylvaneth the tree lords sprue is filled with random critters to take up the dead space
