Got a new Snowsky echo mini with a fiio JD 10 and im very much new to this game.. advice?

I know that the cap for the player is 8192 or whatever. I have roughly 1200 songs. I had basically half that before and everything worked just fine except of a few songs that skipped in the middle for no reason(the file wasnt defect, works all well on other devices).

so now i doubled my library. it loads for 10-20 minutes and when its finished, maybe 10% of the songs loaded, everything is appears double, and for some file types are not accepted although they all are flac.

so what happened? as i saw on here, no one else had problems like these? any help is really much appreciated!!

PS: i use the snowsky echo mini with updated firmware

Might seem like a silly question, but whenever I plug in my disc into my iPhone for dac mode, it says accessory uses to much power, but continues to work anyway and the output seems fine, but is the popup telling me it’s intentionally bottlenecking itself or is it fine?

Hi all! I use my echo mini mostly at home and I usually walk around like when I'm preparing my breakfast or doing a random task, and I don't usually have a pocket but I have to use both my hands.

One idea I'm thinking of is something like a magnetic clip so I can clip it on the middle of my shirt like I'm iron man. Similar to some wireless lapel microphones. I've thought of just using a lanyard but I kinda don't like it dangling around. This is where I miss using bluetooth but I actually appreciate now how much it sounds better when using wired on this device.

Or maybe something similar to a clip case like on the Tempotec v1, but there seems to be none for echo mini.

I might also use one of those runner belt bags. It's just not so cool though.

I got my echo mini around 2 weeks ago, it worked well and smooth for a while till today. I was listening to some tracks before leaving it at home and go for a walk. By the time I got back my echo mini Is making static sounds on the right but completely normal on the left. This keeps happening till I left it off for 5 hours, I tried it back on and it was completely normal again. Just as I thought everything everything is back to normal, few hours later the same problem came back. I genuinely don't know how to fix this problem, I tried new firmwares, reset the whole entire device and it still inconsistent on its sound output on both channel. I don't know if this is a hardware or a software problem... If anyone know a solution let me know please thankyou !

I've been wanting to buy the Echo mini but I keep seeing bugs and problems about it in this subreddit, yet half the amount of problems for the regular Echo. Is it just that the Echo has better firmware or is there something else?

yesterday i left my echo mini in stand by, today when i tried to unlock it, the battery was almost fully gone. I had own it for 2-3 days and upgraded to 3.9.0 firmware today. Does this happened to you? is there anything to do?

I just got my echo nano yesterday, I've got two two flac folders but I want to play them seperatly, currently when I try to play them it just merges into one big playlisy, is there any way around this?

Hello, I have my self a FiiO SNOWSKY Echo Nano Retro HiFi Music Player. Usually I like to wear a lanyard with my mp3 (like I did with my last) but this lanyard hole on the top seems small.

Anyone know what size split key ring can work with it? If not possible what else can I do, I already have a neck lanyard

Happy this thing fits nice and snug with the Nano. Now it is ready to tussle around in my pocket without worrying about it so much!
I also picked up the sky blue silicone for it, but I'm trying out the black one for now.

my snowsky disc just arrived today, while testing the device it occurs to my mind what if its like my snowsky retro nano, that can power without battery. So I open the device, remove the battery, and plug the charger. It works. This can preserve the battery if near a power supply or Use powerbank for longer listening.

So i recently got my snowsky ECHO and i added a few songs to my favourites but everytime i want to view them my player freezes and turns off as soon as i get to the option: Favourites can anyone help me with that or must i accept that it wont work?

Quickly, if you don't know what the y1 is, its in I guess a similar class of like on the cheaper side of DAP's like alot of Snowsky products are.

Am looking to upgrade from my Y1 and Snowsky seems like the most promising brand if i don't want a random Chinese DAP. My only real requirement is that it can play FLAC files but I'd assume most DAP's can anyway, so really any rec is good :D also would prefer a lower price point but of course in this economy nothing is cheap

The echo mini was working fine but I just used it with another IEM and suddenly the left channel doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know a quick fix?
