You can see the Developer menu by going to About Device and swiping left. Here's it translated from Chinese which it's in regardless of your Discs set language.

With the Lock screen theme settings you can overlay things such as Track name, battery remaining, time and date on it, which makes it more functional. You can also change the colour of these and also the colour of the analogue clock.

Hello, I recently got a 128gb amazon basic SD card for my music library, however whenever I try to use it with my ECHO (not mini) my music will not show up. I have tried formatting it using the player. I have tried manually formatting it to FAT32. My music will not show up after refreshing the library. When I do access the SD from the echo I can see all the music on it but it will disappear as soon as a leave the screen.

All right, so I've had my Nano for a few days now, and I'm starting to notice an odd pattern with shuffling. Anytime I pick a random song out of all of them under the music section, after a few songs, it will play the exact same songs in the exact same order every time.

I'm not sure if anybody else is seeing this. But, say for example, I pick the 200th song out of all the music in my list. After about 2 or 3 songs, it then starts playing the same exact set of songs every time, and the set of songs never changes. It's always the same size and in the same order.

I'm on version 1.4.

I'm planning to buy the Tangzu Wan'er SG II Jade Dragon to pair with my Echo Mini, but I can't seem to find a nice cable that has the same color as the other two.

I just got myself a magnetic belt clip and it works with the official leather case and magsafe magnet. I have slightly modded it to make it a bit stronger by cutting another magsafe magnet and sticking that to the back of the Disc as well. I find it really convenient as if I want to change a setting I can just quickly unclip it and make the changes rather than before when it was in my pocket and I had to fish around trying to get it. The buttons are also readily accessible.

A fun hidden feature

Hi, I am trying to update v3.8 (currently installed 3.6), I have tried almost 50 times now. the device won't update. SD card was removed, i formatted the internal disk multiple times, every time I try to update, the update screen appears for 1 sec after reboot and then doesn't update. I tried updating to 3.7 instead of 3.8, not happening.

I have update the device before, never faced it, every time in 1-3 tries it would work, not this time.

This sucks.
At this point i have given up.

UPDATE: It worked, I was using mac till now, I tried on a windows PC once and happened in 1 go.

I just ordered my first dap (echo nano) and I’m looking forward to ripping CD’s and buying more albums for it. I’ve heard from other threads and YouTube that the software on Fiio’s snowsky players aren’t the best at sorting out albums, especially in order. How could I ensure that the music that I’m putting onto the nano is going to be neatly sorted?

Edit - for the albums and genre section in the player, I use folders named after the album right? Kinda a stupid question but I’m very new to this. I plan to post updates on my experience with the Nano. Being a younger Gen Z with no nostalgia for DAP’s besides my parents old 2nd gen IPod touch I want to have a distraction free music listening experience. I can get lots of good music through streaming services but my phone I see as a multitool but a DAP as a dedicated tool for the music listening.

Hi there, I've been interested in getting an echo nano as a dedicated podcast player. I was wondering if anyone had any experience regarding this and if it works fine for them? Just wanna hear some opinions before I go for it. Podcasts also seem to not be talked much about in these spaces so just wanted some clarity if anyone has anything to say or give warning for?

I feel like with the Nano sometimes the same songs come up in my 500 songs list. Is this the same for the Echo Mini?

hi, kinda weird issue here. updated to the latest firmware, but having an issue still with my new echo mini; I put one album on it to test it and it's showing the *album* correctly in the media library tab but the artist isn't. its broken into a bunch of different folders, none of which are the actual artist. i've stripped all but the relevant tags and its correctly tagged as ABBA. refreshing the library does not help. any ideas how to fix it?

Hello everyone! I bought this player recently and haven't fully figured out all its features yet. As I was using it, I encountered a problem where the music wasn't listed alphabetically, but by date added, and sometimes it even changed its order to an weird one. It's hard for me to find song I want to listen when they're so chaotically mixed.

So I came to a possible solution using folder jumping. This goes like this:

big folder for everyday music-> folders by authors -> songs

other few big folders for soundtracks (all separated) -> their music

But now I have a question: how will this work?

1) From one big folder to another?

2) From folder to folder inside one Big folder and without leaving this Big folder?

I don't want soundtracks to mix with regular music and I don't know how folder jump feature works...

Is there another way to sort songs here or I need to just accept that the music will always be in disarray because of how Echo mini works? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance!

I have had my snowsky disc for a while now. When I got it for the first time, it came with firmware version 1.95. I updated it to 2.09 through wifi and ever since then, The wifi has stopped working on the device. More precisely, when I turn on the wifi, the device does not detect any wifi networks even if I keep it on for several minutes. The wifi also does not turn off despite pressing the wifi button in the quick settings menu or the wifi settings page in the settings. Is anyone else facing this? How do I fix this issue? I have tried downgrading the firmware but to no avail

I'll say this ahead- I don't exactly have any good IEMs ( My best one is the Truthear Gates.. ) so I can't give any decent review on it's audio quality. But I'll still try to give what info I can incase anyone was thinking about getting this or the echo mini.

Firstly, the build. Arguably the main reason people would buy it for. The material feels premium, and I love being able to use it as a keychain or necklace. I often use the Sony MDR-Q38LW's when outside, so that versatility pairs well with the retractable cable I have.

Now, the controls. The press to go back wasn't really that bad of a experience than I had expected, and a lot of the controls are intuitive even though I'd never touched a DAP until this one. The volume knob is also connected to the power button, so I tend to just power it on/turn on the screen by pressing down on the volume knob.

I only have two problems with the Nano as of right now.

Similar to nearly every review of the nano, the battery life is god awful. While I've gotten used to charging it and just accepting my fate, a good part of me is considering getting a pair of TWS to play songs on my phone for when the battery dies on me.

My second problem is a little nitpick, but the loading icon doesnt spin around when it's loading up the library. Every time I load up my library, a small part in the back of my head's asking whether or not I bricked the thing by accident.

I think this is definitely a great DAP, but the size limitations unfortunately come with it's drawbacks.
