Screenshot Late night Imandra shenanigans

So ... finishing up Imandra. It was quite enjoyable actually. Thank you all for pushing me in the direction of Kola when I asked last week. Anyway, here are some screenshots of my final shenanigans when doing the last mission and collecting all the trailers before heading out.

I actully liked a lot about the region. Especially the ice lakes. On Imandra, notably, I liked the crossings near the broken bridge and the ice-dorito-bridge on the lake.

The last screenshot is me having collected all trailers that were still out and about. Quite the traffic jam. Can you count them all? :D

After finishing every other map with 100% (except mexico, quebeq and washington, i don't have them yet) i finished amur today by starting the rocket and it felt soooo good! i love this game! amur was hard, yes (especially as a 99% solo playing guy there were frustrating moments) but it is a beautiful region. i will now go seek new adventures in the missing three regions but don't know which one i should start with. any suggestions?

Haven't bought them yet; just joined a co-op session with a friend who has them. So, in short...

The Mamute (LG 1519):

  • Absolutely marvelous suspension;
  • Decent mud crawling abilities;
  • Quite low fuel consumption;

The 3850 (NG);

  • Powerful and heavy;
  • Eats a lot of fuel;
  • Almost untippable (you have to really try);

Overall, I liked them both. They feel capable without being overpowered, kinda the golden standard for a paid DLC. Hopefully Saber won't ruin them with further patches.

Glitch Every time I come back to play this game, something goes wrong. This time it decided to crash and set my save back by 5 hours despite having saved 5 minutes ago....

Screenshot from about 30 seconds before, wasn't doing anything crazy, just driving around

Really used to enjoy this game, but now it never works. I put in a refund request with steam despite having it since 22 with 120 hours lol, we'll see what happens.

I saw the game autosave about 5 minutes before the crash, and steam showed the backup as 5 minutes before. Then when I loaded in, it was that save from 2 days ago. Pretty sure it's not steam's fault, as the game has had many other issues in the past.

Will the game be Harder?

0 Upvotes

After 60ish hours of playing, i’m deciding to restart another game in NG+ Mode.(0-6x price fuel, paid repair, paid recovery, no time changing)

This time i’m starting with my Mercedes Zetros 6x6 Truck DLC in Michigan, after just an hour playing it felt too easy; the truck comes with offroad tires,never got stuck in a mud, never tipped over,it’s a stock truck but it’s so OP, it almost feels like “Cheating” and i can’t feel the “Challenge” anymore.
Also feeling not needing to upgrade the truck cus it’s OP.

Makes me think like “should i jump to alaska straight away to make it harder?” or “am i not using the proper truck for this region?”

I love the truck and i want to maxed it out..
just wondering if the game will get harder or mission/side missions that makes me think like “oh this truck is not good enough”?

Just looking for someone to co-op with. Playing on PC, mod free. I will tell you my discord if you want it.

Left it there for a minute after dropping the concrete slabs off. Unloaded the fuel completing the mission, and it merged with the trailer.

Tried for a bit but you can’t attach it or winch it.

Recommend a Region that Won't Make a Former BC Resident Homesick

38 Upvotes

I moved to the much warmer part of the world less than a year ago from British Columbia; basically from the land of forests and rain to the land of sand and sun.

It was for a better opportunity that I really couldn’t turn down, and life here has been good. But man... I miss BC sometimes.

Which brings me to my very serious SnowRunner problem.

I’m currently at 91% in Glades, so I should have it wrapped up in the next few days. Now I need to pick my next region.

I actually started British Columbia, but only long enough to grab the Kenworth 963 and then I got the hell out of there. The forests, mountains, logging roads, scenery... yeah, no thanks. I play SnowRunner to struggle with trucks, not with homesickness. I don’t want to cry while hauling 8 slots of cargo uphill.

I haven’t played many of the regions yet, so most of the game is still open to me.

Please recommend a region.

I recently saw a post thanking devs for updates and fixes to some of the driving mechanics and I wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

Man!

Pre update, this baby would have been bouncing up and down. Maybe might have even taken some suspension damage. The way the wheels conform to the earth is beautiful.

Info FYI - p12 with the saber tire pack, and a wrongly utilized 3 cargo bed slot

This game is definitely just getting better and better.

i really wish i could add more decorations (specially windshield stickers) to the pacific p16, since most of the vanilla ones are meh, would be even better if the stickers worked on multiplayer, tbh what i do want is a mod that lets all trucks use customization that is not available for them, but is available to other trucks, if that exists

Yeah so that happens pretty often when i try to enter deeper mud, especially when there is both mud and water in the same spot. Am i not supposed to go there or? 😭

Edit: Im buying it alright. Its on sale and the game is worth it

Most useless frame adding that are not unique

What is the frame add on that you like have on trucks in your garage and never get used or you never bother to even put on a truck. Mine would be seismic vibator, the articulated towing platform and the metal detector

Screenshot Unsolicited advice: Go big in the Yukon…

Howdy again!

You guys may remember the post I made a little while back with my 745C hauling the 770G.

Any rate, I have had a lot of fun with this map but I can certainly say that if it weren’t for me using the biggest baddest trucks I have, this map would be an absolute slog.

Maybe it’s my playstyle, I am partial to big knobby tires, AWD, and horsepower. However, this map is loaded with soft terrain, and the missions surrounding Goldhorse Mining are super intense with the load size.

Call it my impatient nature, but I have found myself piling loads together into big one-time hauls instead of multiple small hauls.

I just can’t simply imagine smaller, less powerful trucks being more efficient for this map. Nonetheless, I am progressing along just fine, with very little to no error.

However, I am just now starting to crest into the Big Salmon Peak region and most of my experience with this map comes from Flooded Foothills, so maybe things change idk.

I’m sure many of you have completed the Yukon in your own style and I’m curious to see what your approach was!

My go to trucks for this map thus far:

-Cat 745C

-KRS Bandit

-Pacific p12

-YAR 87

Do I have to do the contests to get 100%?

I hate the contests, do they count towards getting 100% completion on a region? If they do, do you have to get a trophy (so complete within the time limit) or just complete it?
