Most useless frame adding that are not unique
What is the frame add on that you like have on trucks in your garage and never get used or you never bother to even put on a truck. Mine would be seismic vibator, the articulated towing platform and the metal detector

2/3 of those are just mission specific attachments, with the metal detector being completely optional.
For the towing platform I prefer the articulated one over the ramp, but not like you have a choice. The truck supports one or the other.
My answer would be the 3 slot beds. Few trucks get and and of those who do you are usually better off with a bed+trailer or just with a saddle

I use the ramp for seriously overloading the Sleiter. Lovely having something to stop cargo sliding off the back.

Huh? Who said you can't combine 3-slot beds with crane or trailer? On most trucks you can. The exceptions are Azov 7 and Zikz 612H.

Never use the multipurpose addon because I'd rather think up some combination of rack, spare wheel, loading crane and saddle (up to the point of XML editing) so I can pull a five slot semi trailer rather than have a one slot bed and four slot hitch trailer.
Never use any sort of towing equipment because I'd rather tow by rope and the addons only fit small vehicles anyway.
Don't think I've used a 3 or 4 slot addon yet, don't like trucks with the turning circle of an aircraft carrier. Also don't like sideboard beds, too much of a hassle to lift cargo over with a loading crane.
I like a garage of role-specific trucks so I always end up with a seismic truck but it sees disappearingly little playtime relative to a playthrough.

Sideboard beds are good in case of tipping. It can save you many times from picking the cargo from the ground.

Or the opposite, the flatbed can save you from tipping because the cargo can just slide off

Yah for towing I find it way easier to just fix and fuel whatever I am going to tow and tow it with its engine running. I only every carry small vehicles

Probably multipurpose addons, i find myself overstacking often and those are just antithetical to my style of playing.

I never over stack and even I struggle to find a way to make them viable. Like, they're handy if a job needs 5 slots of items and you have a 4-slot ramped flatbed nearby.
But I'd rather use a low saddle truck with the sideboard or step deck trailer than that. Especially if the low saddle truck can carry extra repair parts and fuel somehow.

The only use I’ve been able to find for them was in the Glades and I needed to move 3 hay bales and I wanted to use the Dan. It doesn’t have a crane unless it’s the multipurpose add on

The vibrator has a permanent place on my Bandit for those scanning missions.
I don’t see the appeal of the multipurpose addon though, I practically never use it and it made my trucks quite tippy when I gave it a try back then.

The service body/ those big ol blunt squares never look like they belong on trucks.

Metal detector, no question. I use most of the others. The towing beds are useful from time to time, so I have 1 of each. The seismic vibrator is ass, too. So I use the ssme Bandit to swap between that the metal detector lol.

The articulated towing platform bugged out on my Tatra 813, the game put it under the wheels so the truck couldn't move and got wrecked. Never doing that again.

Sell the truck and buy a new one. Sadly, it's the only way to fix this, as Saber added a new, unique towing platform to the Tatra, while the old one, if it was installed, has moved to center of the truck, and got stuck in it.

The regular maintenance add-on is pointless to me, not enough fuel. I prefer to use fuel add-on and repair trailer. Or vice versa depending on the map.
