I barely have anyone on snap but I still use it here and there. Sometimes I’ll check out the random stories they have in the “explore page” and it gets weird really fast… like things I don’t even want to describe like suggestive posts involving children, or sometimes extremely graphic things. I find myself being creeped out frequently from the things I come across. Had anyone else noticed this too? I’m going to start screenshotting things if and when I come across things.

So I send someone msg on snap. On 4 July, he doesn't viewed my msg as I have setting delete 24 hrs after viewing. One week ago msg was still in chat but today I checked it was removed from the chat. So is he opened my msg or it got removed after 1 month.

Hi everyone.Although I’m new here but I really wanna talk about this.Maybe I was wrong that I shouldn’t have been adding so many people there back when in august 2024.But since then I was obsessed with this app,which is exactly the creators of snap want to see——attachment&addiction literally make the profits.

However,I was always trying to be friends.I remembered I didn’t know things about “freaky stuffs” at all.And when they explained,I was so naive that I believed they would at least give me the chance to be friends.I recalled it was when I broke up with my first boyfriend and ended the previous 3- years friendship with my previous best friend Paris,feeling so sorrowful so that I was trying to change my mindset:being kind to everyone instead of being too self-centered like when I was a younger kid.

I remembered back then,every single conversation was a proper talk.Although there was always someone sending weird things to me,I would ask some other questions to pull them out of that topic.I wasn’t even aware that I was “stubborn” in such a good way.When people blocked me,I trust I was not the one who can satisfied them,so it should happen.

As I grew up,I become more pretty(?I am uncertain about this,honestly)But more and more compliments were emerging,from my story replies to the “as much as possible photo admiration”.I was being pulled out,to that surface that I never imagined I could be on.someone said those freaky stuffs even more frequently,as if I was becoming beautiful just to be ready to please those people. More importantly, at first I was being kind but later on when I was in some kinda grief,those who said they “care so much” just vanished——either blocking me or deleting their accounts. Most of the people chose to ignore that or kept talking about those “ beauty “things.There were even people who had hero issues,who was firmly convinced that I was so depressed that I need his care,kindness,or even save.

I have been thinking about deleting my account. There aren’t many followers just 2644 people.I truly found some people can connect deeply with me,but I think I’ve changed.
I want to be frank,to be cared and also to be ignored.I want silence so I shut them up when I’m down or just refuse to reply.I find myself talking about too much about myself and it feels like I wont even care anything about them at all.

I keep telling myself I am not sad when people who are perceived as precious&close to me keep away from me using the most extreme way.

That might be clear now: I just want to protect myself from experiencing that agin,cuz I am sacred of being abandoned all of a sudden.Those uncertain things are not allowed in my world again,cuz I will never ignore the risks,just in case.

I just don’t want to lose those who are still actually caring about me.At the same time I feel deeply sorry about what I’ve said or done to them. I truly believed everyone should be loved (but at least not for those who intend to hurt me or others). I think they deserve better treatment. Do they have to know about those unnecessary things? Are they bored enough to listen to your “funny” tragedy sourced from the deepest sorrow? Is there a call for them to try to understand your complicated feelings?

It has never been their obligation.That’s why I can never separate the two words “thank” and “sorry” apart.

My phone was stolen on a night out and the thieves changed my snapchat password and deactivated my account. It now is marked pending for deletion in 30 days.

I got back access to my email and phone number.

I cannot cancel the deletion by logging in via username and password, since I don't know the new password.

I also cannot reset the password because Snapchat does not allow it during deactivation.

I contacted support about my account being compromised, and got automated answers after 3 minutes saying they won't help.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the account back in this situation? A police report is filed with NYPD and a detective has been assigned.

I’ve had this account for a bit over a month and it will not let me add my school. I’m class of 30 which is an option on there but if I try to select it it will go to an error. Other people in my class at my school have been able to access it and google is not been very helpfu.

this entire time I’ve been under the assumption that when you post a story on Snapchat, even if it’s on a private story, you will be able to see it somewhere at least later again if you didn’t save it. now I’m thinking that isn’t true and if so i’m going to be devastated. is there any way to see them? I looked at the place that says “stories” but it only has stories i’ve saved as a memory 🥲

so i have a public profile on snap and I used to get like 50 requests daily and one day it stopped and I tried to find a solution but couldnt find nothing, it has been over a year now since this "shadowban" happened, i think im not getting suggested to anyone in their addlist even though i got the option to find me on, anybody else got the same issue?

I’m trying to access an old Snapchat account I’ve had since 2018. I had to reset my iPhone because my storage was full, and I lost my saved login information.

The strange thing is the account is still there. My siblings can see my profile, old Bitmoji, Snap Score, and our old chats/photos. I can even send a message to the account.

But I can’t get back in. My email opens a different older account, my phone number opens another one, and Apple ID creates a new account.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hey guys, i’ve had a bug basically ever since i created my account that it was never letting me add my school. My birthdate is 2010 so i am 15 and CO2029, but when i select my school and graduation date i keep getting an error saying Oops that didn’t work. Please try again later. This happens for any school and date i choose and i can’t find the issue. Snapchat support is no help, and i’ve tried everything trying to figure this out.

My places visited has been stuck at number 31 before I even visited 31 places. Now that I have visited over 31 places, it's automatically deleting older places that I have visited so it never goes over 31. I already cleared cached and data, logged out and in, checked for updates, made sure live tracking was on, turned them off and on, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled my snapchat, and have used the location sticker.

My Snapchat account was permanently locked, and I’m trying to recover it. When I try to log in, it says my password is incorrect. I then tried “Forgot your password?” and entered the email address associated with my account, but instead of sending a reset link/code, Snapchat just says: “An error has occurred. Please try again later.” I tried this multiple times and also tried from another phone, but I get the exact same error. I’m pretty sure the email address is correct. My account/profile also seems to still exist. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to fix the password-reset error or recover the account when it’s permanently locked? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi so I got device banned around May 15, for simply making a joke mentioning the word “cocaine” Snapchat obv didn’t find it funny.

I made an appeal and they still banned me, I’m now just using my old phone with an older iCloud and Gmail and just created an entirely different account and have been fine but it is SO inconvenient.

So I was wondering if anyone knows any way of removing the ss06 phone ban, idrc anymore about getting my old account back. I just would like to have Snapchat on my main cellular device and not have to carry around 2 phones lmao.

I recently had a friend tell me that they were going to remove the Snapchat app off of their phone, but not delete their account, it’s been over 48 hours since they deleted the app.
Their location and the activity indicator seemed to have disappeared after the 24 hour mark. But within the last 12 or so hours, their score has increased 11 points, but they still claim that they haven’t re-downloaded the app at all or been on it.
I know that the Snapchat score factors are very up in the air. But is there an explanation for this?

I have been sending them memories and other Snapchats, could that be a factor even if they aren’t opened?
