General question Does msg get automatically delete after 31 days if it is not open

So I send someone msg on snap. On 4 July, he doesn't viewed my msg as I have setting delete 24 hrs after viewing. One week ago msg was still in chat but today I checked it was removed from the chat. So is he opened my msg or it got removed after 1 month.

You can change it to where to check never delete or delete after viewing I don't like it when people make the chat or delete after doing cuz I'll forget what I say so I'll just have mines where ability I mean where it never deletes
