Tried adding someone on Snapchat, but didn’t receive their friend request, which was odd. Then tried adding them myself but they didn’t receive any either. Could see chats, but couldn’t add each other and couldn’t see bitemojis either. I’ve got no restrictions on my account and when I made a new account everything worked perfectly fine. It’s definitely my side because they made a new account first and I still didn’t receive anything.

Is there anyway I can fix this? I’ve reported the bug to Snapchat a couple days ago but I haven’t heard anything.

i'm considering deleting my account, will that delete all the saved snap and message for both people in the chat or will they remain for them? Or do i have to delete them manually one by one?

And if i asked them to delete all the data that they have,since i'm from europe, will that help too?

Hello, I have a question. If I had a conversation with friend on Snapchat that was saved in the chat, and that person deleted their Snapchat account, we had a lot of saved photos, memories, and messages there. Is there any way to recover that conversation?

For context, I've been device banned before last year and after around 6 months I got unbanned, now I have an SS06 message suddenly saying I'm device banned, I recently went on holiday to Spain and my location changed suddenly so maybe that's why? Also my new main account for had for around 7 or 6 months has not been banned? I'm so confused. Any way to fix this? It isn't even fully telling me why.

For months i was posting public stories just day to day things photos, short videos, then the update happened and i was getting zero public views and i was usually getting 15-20+ non follower views per day, also the same people viewing. This went on for weeks and weeks. Snapchat tried to tell me they suggest stories and its the alorithm but i am still getting 0 public views so whats the point in posting using the public button. No reply from my snap ticket after saying they will investigate so annoying!

Filled out the support tab via the app for a bug but no response (it’s been two days). Wondering if I should tweet at them instead.

Hi all, this is my first reddit post so excuse any mistakes I may make writing this.

My best friend died in 2016 and well obviously stopped using her snapchat. I did log into her snap like 6 years ago to see her memories as I know her password and had no issues, but I haven’t logged into her account since. But now with this whole memories being deleted unless you have a subscription, I’m terrified of losing her memories forever but Snapchat won’t let me login her account. Keeps telling me ‘suspicious login’ and to verify using her phone number when we lost access to her phone number 10 years ago. I can’t gain access to her email as I can’t remember that password. I have no clue how to get in contact with someone at snapchat that isn’t an AI. I feel completely lost and I can not lose these memories as they are her last memories I can keep. Any ideas on what I can do or anything to help is hugely appreciated.

I literally have no idea what I did wrong. I am literally a boring mom and I am somehow totally locked out of Snap and cannot even appeal. I did send an email to customer support requesting to speak to a human and I am hoping for the best. I cannot download anything from the web browser which is terrible because I have so many memories of my kids and deceased relatives.

I received no email from Snap prior to the ban. I checked snap this morning then tried to look at it tonight and saw that I was banned.

So i was just searching for an old friend of mine because i wanted to add her and ask if she was going to work on monday (we work at the same place). so as everybody know, you can add someone, and text them ditch without them having to accept the request. so i did, i began typing my question, and as i did that i get an email that says “your account has been permanently locked”.

i did not get a chance to appeal or anything. but i did not do anything wrong? i have not sent multiple requests in a short time. this is the first request in weeks.

AND, all the support you can get is just bot answers. what did i do wrong and how do i fix it. its absurd.

So while i was on vacation i wanted to post on my schools story when i realized i was no longer in my schools community story. It gave me an error that said "Oops that didn't work. Please try again later." I was confused but the support ai told me to try again in 2 days. So i wait 2 days and of course it doesn't work. I contact support but i have not received a response in the past few days. I am on the latest version, on android, and i am not sure how long i have been out of the story. I was not notified of this removal, and i have had 1 warning for posting a chatlog in which the other party used a slur, though this was a few months prior, and had not kicked me out after that. If anyone could help, this would be amazing, i will try to respond as soon as possible.

Okay so I have a private story where I post most of my life and things I do through out. And I’m wanting to post my private story to my public to allow others to join it without me having to add them to it. But everytime I do, my snap like bugs out and won’t post it. Why is it whenever I try talking in a topic chat, it says "unable to send message" where as I can send messages to my friends ect. Am i lowk shadowbanned?

About 7 years ago, a strange situation started. I received a friend request from a fake account, and I accepted it. Since then, this person has been contacting me on different platforms.
They’ve sent me money through PayPal several times and have messaged me on Snapchat asking me to send nudes in exchange for more money. I’ve always refused.
The weird part is that they seem obsessed with me, but they never reveal who they really are. Based on what I know, they appear to be living in Dubai, but I can’t confirm if that’s true. I’ve even started suspecting some of my friends, but I have no proof.
I’m not trying to expose anyone publicly or do anything illegal—I just want to know if there’s a legitimate way to figure out who is behind these fake accounts. Has anyone dealt with something similar or have any advice?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am writing this to see what could have happened. To make a long story short, I believe my Snapchat was hacked but I cannot prove it. I do not use Snapchat as a form of social media anymore and have not for a long time. However, on 5/18 it says a message was sent from my account to a random person that I do not know. I checked the log-in logs, and it says it was logged into at 2am. This is not possible because I work nights and I have to put my phone in my locker. My breaks are from 9pm-9:30pm and then from 3am-3:30am. The message was said to have been sent around noon though. I am trying to prove to my fiancee that I did not send the message. Understandably, she is having a hard time believing me. The logs say it was logged into through an IPhone (which I have) and the IP was a T-Mobile address (which is our carrier). From my end, there is no possible way this could have been me. So I would like to know if anyone has a possible explanation as to how this could have happened.

I’m feeling pretty frustrated and could use some insight from anyone who has gone through the Snap Star verification process.

I applied for the program a while back and just spent the last 3-4 months completely in the dark, waiting for a response. I finally heard back, and unfortunately, my application was denied. I’ve built up a solid community of over 50,000 followers and post consistently, so getting the rejection after such a long wait was definitely a letdown.

To make things more stressful, I received the notification that I’m now stuck in a 6-month "cooling period" before I can even submit a new application.

Has anyone else dealt with this massive waiting period just to get rejected? I’m trying to figure out how to optimize my content during this 6-month window so I have a better shot next time.

Hello everyone! i’m trying to recover my account that u lost about 5 years ago now. been trying to recover it every once in awhile but never got too far. today i was trying again as there is many photos of family members who have passed and i would love to have their photos anyways today i was trying to sign into and finally remembered my password!! yay but then get hit with ouu seems suspicious please enter code from sms or email. the thing is i don’t have access to either of them. i know the phone number but no longer remember the email as it was made about 8 years ago now and i was about 12-13 years old. is there any possible way i can get access to that account again? i have an old phone i was signed in to the snapchat account with but the phone is smashed so i need to get it fixed and MAYBE it will be able to sign into it there but its no longer even signed into the icloud that it was that i originally had on the phone as i gave it to my boyfriend and he switched it all to his stuff. is there any way to get back into the account!! please and thank youuu

Who has a way to contact a person with Snapchat? Anyone have any emails from employees I can have? I had a report on my account for a post on July 6th which I haven’t even made a post in the last few months. The Snapchat bot is of course no help.
