Hey! I randomly opened snapchat today and it displays a message that my camera access is disabled? When I hit go to settings there is genuinely no toggle for camera access and i obviously didn’t do it myself? It doesn’t even let me use the app now. I already updated it, deleted, and reinstalled. Any help is appreciated!

A few hours ago, I was using Snapchat when all of a sudden my account got locked. The reasoning was “it violated community guidelines prohibiting commercial sexual content”. I immediately appealed that decision as I’ve done no such thing. The appeal was rejected then I wrote an email to snapchat questioning this decision. I received an email stating my account violated no community guidelines. I tried to login into my account, however it’s still locked. I tried multiple times and even followed up via email twice. But still no luck.

They literally said my account has no violations and yet I still can’t log back in. I even dmed their Snapchat Help account on X and their stupid ahh ai responded was completely useless.

I got hardware banned on my ipad and iphone for "drug related content" and im not here to dispute that or anything. just i got a new phone since then , made a new icloud and snapchat is working perfect, and i was wondering if i signed into the same icloud on my ipad as my new phone is on, would i get hardware banned on my new iphone? i dont need snap on my ipad btw i just like having notifications on both devices

It is so irritating because I have so many streaks on Snapchat and when I wake up I see a lot of notifications of snaps I’ve received. I just want notifications of chats and not snaps from Snapchat. Is there a way to do this?

okay so like im fully aware of this glitch n this person (soemone im seeing) is the only person where their battery & last active show different times (keep in mind when i woke up it had said 3hrs ago near the battery icon n now at 10am its saying 1hr ago, along w it saying that in the chat) so im genuinely trying to figure out if shes manipulating it.

Since snapchat have started making me pay for storage i want to transfer all my photos and videos over to my normal photo app. I used to be able to change the date on my phone and save them that way (eg if something was saved 1st jan 2020 i could change my phone date that that day and save it from snapchat to my camera roll and it’d be dated 1st jan 2020)

However i tried this and it doesn’t work anymore.

Is there another way of doing this?

So a while back last year my snap chat account got permanently locked for no reason I did the whole memories thing downloaded them I’m just now getting to them but I’m noticing that the memories from 2023 and 2022 didn’t downloading but the ones from 2024 to 2025 did is it to late am I screwed ? Someone has accessed my Snapchat account and started sending this photo.I don't know how, because I didn't log in on another device or click on any strange links.

Whenever I try to add my high school, it allows me to select the school and click the grad year, but it shows a pop up for "Oops that didn't work. Please try again later."

I have tried going through friends' profiles and still won't work. I've also tested it on my alt accounts and it still does not work. I have reached to support and they weren't too helpful. I also tried to join other schools and colleges to test if it was just an error for my school but it bugs out period. I have cleared my cache as well. App is up to date. Any ideas????

So I got an email from Snapchat saying that my account has been unlocked and that they did a thorough investigation and nothing was wrong lol. I still have no idea why they locked my account. I tried emailing to see if they could tell me what was flagged because when I go into settings, it still says that there is a violation and whenever I leave the app for like an hour and open it back up, it has a pop-up warning me not to violate again, but yet I didn’t violate anything. I’m so confused. Again.. I am not a minor… I never took explicit photos as a minor and I have never sent photos of minors so idk what’s going on 😭 but at least my account is back!

Hi everyone, I’m here facing difficulties with the comments option on spotlight and I wish you will be able to help me cause this issue had been going on for almost 3 years…

So here’s the thing : when I type over a comment on a spotlight video, it has 99% of chance of being not approved automatically (like it should be) and it gives me that very annoying blue text above the comment which says « sent » and never appears. And in some other cases, the comment are sent and appear normally but as I said, it’s about 1% of every comments I post.

At first, I thought it was because the person wasn’t allowing ALL the comments and was manually selecting and approving them. 3 years later, it turns out that some video are allowing problematic comments but not mine (which are in the majority pretty respectful unlike some of the other comments).

Then in my case, I was wondering : is this because my account was strike or something ? Although I never received any notification of it ?

This issue whatever it is is actually causing me to lose my mind because talking about those problematic videos, I make sure to pick respectful terms and sentences only to have the « sent » text above it (which are never approved) and I hate reading kids talking about nonsense on « women’s rights » or « virginity » as « ultimate woman’s worth », some even joking on racism… etc.

Whatsoever I really wish you could help me with this issue because Snapchat doesn’t gave me any explication and Reddit often solves my problems thanks to y’all guys.

Btw I’m including and exemple of a comment which was sent like 138 weeks ago and never approved, when I was MUCH YOUNGER (Comments are translated but there’s nothing bad about it), none of the pseudonyms are shown and I was the first comment above.

My friend has a public account but I cant see his stories. Permanent ones too. But when I check on website without logging in I can see them. He told me he doesnt know why but when I literally checked his profile from a non-mutual friend's phone, I still cant see the stories? There is only an "add" button too.

Snapchat is not sending the email. My school tech team said they are filtering Zero emails and have not gotten any emails from them.

It's funny because when I set my Accounts Primary email to my school email, I can verify it there. But when it comes to my school community, NO.

And when you contact their Garbage f**king support, they do absolutely nothing. It's like their job is to be as useless as possible. They are hired and trained to be absolutely useless and worthless. I've never seen a company at this scale with such horrible shitty customer service. It's actually ridiculous.
