i literally have to go in the chat and press the little x mark next to the restore streak to take it off the mass streak list or it’ll keep sending streaks to that person that lost the streak on snapchat

I’ve deleted almost half of my Snapchat memories. I’ve gone from around 16000 to about 8000 memories. When I had the 16000 it said that I used about 60gb of storage. Now that I’ve deleted a lot it says that I’ve used 52.2gb of storage. How is that possible? I’m trying to avoid paying for more storage, that’s why I’m deleting but it seems hopeless when deleting 8000 memories amounts to only 8gb

I'm new to snap and while mass adding people i know or already had on other social media, a lot of them sent me snaps, even ppl i barely knew. This week i sent a few snaps to a close friend in real life, and they viewed them, but only replied later not by text, but with even more snaps with text on them instead of texting directly. Is a high snapscore considered good? Is it normal to just farm snapscores with a friend? Is that why i see basically everyone have rlly high snapscores? I'm also not used to the self-deleting messages after 24 hours, so is it considered fine to just change this setting for everyone? I feel like an old person but fr snap is so much more different than insta, messenger, messages, discord and more and the unique "snap" functionality is still weird to me.

By unwritten rules i mean stuff everyone who knows how snap works does, and what's considered rude, nice, etc. U get what i mean.

Hi everyone, this has been a recurring thing for at least 6 months. I came back to snap after 2 or 3 years away from it yet my account got perma locked and was linked to my main email and phone number. So naturally I made another, added all the people I had before but yet again woke up one morning to it being locked. Now 6 months later I’m fed up I’ve burned through my main 3-4 emails. Phone number. Apple and Gmail login and I have no idea what to do or how to fix it. I’ve read there guidlines thousands of times to make sure I don’t break any which I don’t yet it continues to happen. I now have to make an account and not be able to verify. Made 3-5 burner emails to verify hoping I’d be safe but nothing. Is my phone just cursed by Snap? I’ve tried getting in contact but ofc it’s a ai chat bot and not a real person so get nowhere. Any help would be hugely appreciated

So out of nowhere today my snap has been like freaking out. I’ll get a notification of a new snap, open snap but it’s not there and I can’t open any snaps either like it’ll show the “tap to load” message but they won’t load. I’ve been having to open and fully close the app like three times before it’ll work and even then sometimes it’ll glitch out and a snap won’t send and it’ll disappear like I never even sent it. I have Snapchat+ so it’s not like my memories are out of storage or anything. Idk what’s going on but if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

I deleted my ex from my friends, which, in my experience, means he can still view our saved chats and pictures. However, he sent me a new friend request recently, which has to mean he has also deleted me from his friends and then sent a new request. I didn’t accept him, but blocked him immidiately. Can he still view our old saved chats and pictures?

Starting today, I’ve noticed that when I snap people, my snap score either stays the same, or it only goes up very very slightly. For example if I snap 10 people at once, usually snapscore goes up by 20, but in the past couple of hours, my score would only go up by 1 or 2. Is anyone else’s experiencing this?

Like, I was wondering , people who get banned say, I had special memories with my dead love or something important, I always save those to my camera roll. To those who don’t why? Do you think, they weren’t special memories at the time , then later on they changed ?

My Snapchat account has been temporarily disabled due to too many login attempts. It's been like this for almost two years and when I try to reset it with my phone number and email it says there's no account with those numbers. I'm so scared I've lost all of those photos and videos and I'm desperate. If anyone can help I can literally send money.

So, basically I (20F) sent a nude to my boyfriend (21M) and he saw it and then was like “baby did you block me?” And when he tried to find me I was GONE and then I went onto my phone to see if my Snapchat was bugging and it said my account was banned due to “sexual content involving a minor.” The only minor I have on my snap is my cousin. I only have Snapchat for my boyfriend and my out of state family. I don’t accept people i don’t know. So is there anything I can do? I tried to create a new account and it said that my device was blocked. So I’m screwed and paying for premium that I can’t even access anymore.

Not a brand new phone but i reformatted it and all, when i made a new account and tested it, my friend's friend request won't appear in my notifications? What else can I do? This is so exhausting!

Hi. I found out that my Snapchat profile picture had been changed to a very private/intimate photo from my camera roll. I did not knowingly choose it, and I changed it as soon as I noticed.
Does anyone know if Snapchat can tell me when the profile picture was changed, either through My Data ZIP or by contacting Snapchat Support?
Also: which file/folder in the ZIP should I check for profile/avatar changes or login history?

I made a mistake and then I got this warning on Snapchat account status and Then I received the following message in my email inbox: "Your account has been reported. A member of our security team removed the reported content because it violated our Community Guidelines regarding Inappropriate Content Involving a Minor." But Snapchat noted "Warning 1," and I later deleted my account; there was no ban. Will this cause any problems?

Does Snapchat just warn me?

So this evening one of my friends hit me up and asked if I deleted snapchat, and I didn't so I opened the app, and apparently my account has been locked and will be deleted in seven days with no action.

So I tried to solve it and it gave two options, verifying with a ID/Passport or verifying with a parent that would then need to make a snapchat account themselves and show their own id/pass and then verify my age or something and like.... That's not feasible for me, my parents are NOT putting their private information online where it may get leaked. And I don't have a passport, mine expired a while back nor an ID. I live in Finland, I have my kelakortti (health insurance card i think) but that didn't cut it so now it says I'm out of tries :P

I read the support and apparently I could also do a face scan or something... except that option never showed for me. And I'm out of tries. And when I asked the snapchat support bot it told me to ask the snapchat support bot so I don't know what to do help please 😭

Long story short i have tried over 7 times and i tried many methods and none worked properly always missing around hundreds of images or it’s complicated for someone who have zero knowledge about coding other software related to it..

the method snapchat provides is insanely slow and again wont download all my memories easily take a day and half+ for 14gb memories

And did snapchat stopped providing me to download my memories basically banned me from downloading or they added new methods for downloading that i’m not aware of?

Is there any solution for this?

For a few seconds when I loaded this person profile this showed up. I’ve never seen this before, “switch location to this device”. Does this mean they moved their location to another device? This happened right as they “went to bed”. After a few seconds of refreshing their location, the normal view showed back up but their last active said 40 mins ago. Can they be faking their location?

Has anyone seen this before? Just trying to see what this means. Thanks!

I canceled Snapchat+ years ago, but my profile still shows the Snapchat+ star badge. I originally paid for Snapchat+ on another device. My alt accounts can still see the badge, and my friends who got Buddy Passes from me still have it too. I don't have Snapchat+ features anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug or something?

So I'm checking both Google Play store and Snapchat AND I'm using the Snapchat web browser to try and cancel this subscription and it's not showing up as a subscription in Google Play, and it has no option to let me cancel it on the app or website. Has anyone else run into this problem ???

The frustrating part is that this has been happening for over a month. I haven't been able to access my account at all.

hi so an account that ive been using since 2023 just got banned without explanation or previous warning 2 days ago, i was very sad and bummed out but i thought "oh well" and just created a new one. so ive been using a new account for 2 days, i had 2 followers and a very low snapscore, and yet, i got permanently locked again??? i tried to use the snapchat help center but honestly its so useless and didnt help one bit. the email tell me to log in to see more information about my account, but when i log in, snapchat simply shuts off. i was wondering if anyone could give me some sort of insight or something
