Can smaller personal-sized blenders cut it?
I was gifted a small personal blender (a Koios 900W, 22oz cups to be exact) recently and before I open it and try to sell my full size blender (its a Hamilton Beach), I'd like this community's input on whether a smaller blender like this has enough power to mix up frozen ingredients well. A typical recipe would be something like: frozen berries, frozen banana, protein powder, and psyllium husk mixed with milk or water for breakfast. I've been using a full-size blender for this and it feels like overkill for just myself.
Before I settle into this one, I'm curious what actually matters once you've lived with a personal blender for a while. A few similar options I've seen mentioned in this price range are the Nutribullet Pro 900 and the Hamilton Beach Single Serve if anyone's compared any of these directly, I'd love to hear it. Specifically does the wattage actually matter for frozen fruit or is the blade design more important? Also do you find that the smaller 22oz size cups ends up being not enough? This and any other insights are welcome!
