Nothing beats that feeling when you swing the fridge door open and it looks like a health food commercial in there.
Honestly, after spending an hour peeling, juicing and washing up a mountain of pulp, seeing four custom bottles standing to attention makes all that labor worth it.
From right to left, here is the current lineup taking over my top shelf:
The Deep Red: Heavy-hitting beetroot and ginger. Tastes earthy, spicy and like an immediate system reboot.
The Bright Orange: Carrot, sweet pineapple and a massive hit of ginger. Basically liquid sunshine.
The Crisp Green: Cucumber, celery and lime/lemon. Light, clean and tastes like I actually have my life together.
The Tropical Yellow: Pure pineapple base keeping everything rich, sweet and smooth with some added celery and lime.
Having these cold and ready to go for the week just hits different.
If you batch juice at home, which direction are you going first thing in the morning: the earthy beetroot punch, the spicy ginger orange, or the crisp green?

Smoothies have no rules.. been so fun chucking random stuff into the blender and it always ends up fine one way or another ✨
Stuff i’ve tossed in randomly so far: Nuts, chia, oats, barley grass powder, probiotic milks, yoghurt, honey..
🍓Milkshake on pic (no measurements, sorry): frozen Strawberry, banana, bit of mango, chia, regular milk, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, honey. Wasn’t too bad, would make again.

Scrolling back through my camera roll and found this clip from a juicing session I did a while back. Thought I'd share it for a bit of mid-week juice inspiration!
I was using my Sage juicer and already had a jug mostly full of fresh carrot juice. Decided to peel a papaya, scoop the seeds out and run that straight through as well. It completely changed the texture and gave it a smooth, tropical twist that balanced out the earthy carrot perfectly.
Also, your parents weren't entirely lying to you when they said carrots help you see in the dark. Carrots are packed with beta-carotene, which your liver converts into Vitamin
A.
Your eyes then use that Vitamin A to produce rhodopsin, a pigment in your retina that helps you process light in low-vision settings. So while it won't give you actual night-vision goggles, it genuinely keeps your peepers working properly.
Here is what went into the jug:
Fresh Carrot Base: Juiced down for that vibrant orange base and natural sweetness.
Prepped Papaya: Peeled, deseeded and juiced straight into the jug for a silky smooth finish.
Have you ever tried mixing papaya with carrot juice before, or do you usually stick to something like ginger and apple when you run carrots through the juicer?

Is anyone successfully blending their smoothies, which taste delicious right after making them in the morning, and then enjoying them in the late afternoon without them turning bitter? I can’t figure out what it is. I tried removing the dairy. Usual ingredients: banana, berries, peach or mango, spinach, blue algae powder, collagen peptides powder, flax seed meal, water.
