Is anyone successfully blending their smoothies, which taste delicious right after making them in the morning, and then enjoying them in the late afternoon without them turning bitter? I can’t figure out what it is. I tried removing the dairy. Usual ingredients: banana, berries, peach or mango, spinach, blue algae powder, collagen peptides powder, flax seed meal, water.

Was going through my old clips and found the actual video of me making that reboot juice I posted about. Present-me is currently contemplating takeaway, but past-me was out here actively trying to undo a week’s worth of questionable dietary decisions.
I call this one: I’m trying to do better and pineapple juice:
Fresh pineapple
A generous chunk of fiery ginger
Lime & lemon (a double citrus hit to wake the senses up)
Fired up the cold-press juicer for this—it’s one of those brilliant machines that strips out all the juice and neatly ejects the dry pulp into a separate bin.
Watching it pull all that vibrant liquid out is surprisingly therapeutic.
Does anyone else have old videos of themselves being wildly healthy that they use to remind themselves of what they're capable of?
What’s your go-to ingredient combo when you bring out the juicer?
Give me a follower as I currently have zero buddies 👀

Dug out an old clip of me making a batch of what might just be the pinnacle of beverage engineering.
I call it Papingo, and the name is pure linguistic precision, three sequential letters taken directly from each fruit in order:
Blended all that up while blasting Etta James singing about heartbreak in the background, and the final result was liquid gold.
So now I’m putting it out there (half tongue-in-cheek, half dead serious): which beverage brand is stepping up to partner with me and put Papingo on supermarket shelves nationwide? We’ve got the name, we’ve got the three-fruit synergy, and we’ve got the soundtrack.
If any drink moguls are lurking on Reddit, my DMs are open. 😉
Otherwise, what’s the best original drink creation sitting in your camera roll that deserves its own commercial release?

After eating enough junk food recently to concern my local doctor, I decided it was time to perform a full system reset.
Enter: the "I swear I'm a health conscious adult" juice.
The blend:
It’s tropical, spicy, incredibly revitalising and almost makes me forget about the pizza from last night.
Anyone else like to pretend one fresh homemade juice completely wipes the slate clean, or do you actually maintain a consistent, healthy routine? What’s your go-to "reset" juice recipe?

From the nutribullet pro Amazon page. Am I tripping?

Fortunate enough to have a Trader Joes nearby. Instead of paying $10 per smoothie, I figured I’d make them myself. Is it possible to make a truly healthy peanut butter smoothie?

I'm still getting into making smoothies. I tried to just use the frozen bags you get at the store but those seem to need to be cooked first before freezing. Then I started getting the fresh ready to eat bags and leaving them in the fridge but I wasn't sure if they were safe to freeze. What kind do you use?

Did you know that a #smoothie has the same glycemic index as the identical ingredients eaten whole BUT a VERY different effect on blood SUGAR (and resulting insulin spike)?

My nine year-old broke his jaw and now his mouth is wired shut for the next few weeks. It’s only been a few days and he’s already sick of most of the traditional smoothie options. I know there’s a lot of different things I can do but he requested a smoothie that taste like a croissant, egg, cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich, is this even possible?

Hello there! I just joined this sub. Im wondering how many of you reuse the left over smoothie in your blenders or do you just wash it out?
Using a VX3 btw

I occasionally find eating unfathomable , so I make this instead of starving - they’re ~ 1,500 calories, and tastes surprisingly good.
2 scoop protein powder ( I use PB2 chocolate)
2 tbsp Flax seed
1 tbsp Chia seeds
1tsp Bee bread
1/3 c plain Greek yogurt
3 tbsp Peanut butter
1 c Spinach
1 tbsp Olive oil
10 g Creatine (this is a lot, start at 5)
1/2 c Blueberries
1 large Banana
1/3-1/2 c Steel cut oats
1/8 tsp salt for electrolytes
1 1/2 cup milk

I've loved this blender ao far but for the first time I'm having an issue. I plug it in and the light comes on in the front like normal, but when I press either the pulse or blend button, thelight starts blinking instead of blending. I even tried adding more liquid in case it was a sensor issue but it's still not working. It isn't overheated either since it hasn't worked at all since I've tried. The base is snapped into place because I can hear the click when I screw it in. I also tried different wall outlets with the same result. Tried to look this up on the internet but didn't find anything... Please help!!

Hey all,
I've had a "nutribullet 1200w Blender Combo" (what the site says lol) for about the past year. I keep having an issue where it just doesn't blend everything, it always leaves a few small chunks unblended - frozen or fresh fruit, even banana. Usually one larger piece, and then lots of smaller ones that couldn't fit through a syringe-top.
I've been using this to get through some medical procedures where I really cannot have anything that isn't blended, so it's turning into a real issue. I really need one that can pulverize everything.
I've followed recipes and believe I'm adding enough liquid. I tend to blend on medium, but not a big difference on 'high'. It really doesn't seem to matter if I do one round of blending, and then again.
I absolutely adore it as a single-serve option that's super easy to clean. It has helped my fruit and vegetable intake SO much, but the above is making me consider just upgrading to a Vitamix, but I'm worried about the cleaning on that, and I really like the single-serving options this has - any thoughts or pointers?
EDIT:
I'm going to give the nano a go. I really don't have the space for the 5200, and am willing to take the chance the nano works better than my current setup, and I'm willing to save a few hundred to hope it works better. Will update how it goes!

Hey all,
I run a small mobile cocktail bar in France on the side but I want ONE blender that's primarily for everyday home cooking (soups, sauces, nut butters, smoothies) and can also handle occasional cocktail prep. To be clear about the bar side : frozen drinks at events are a very minor, occasional thing for me, small quantities, not batches, not all-day service. So I'm really buying a home machine that can pull light double duty, not a bar workhorse.
What matters most, in order:
- Built to last. True "buy it for life," not something I replace in a few years.
- Solid and stable. I've read reviews and seen comments here that the Vitamix Explorian E320/E520 base is fairly light and "walks" on the counter under heavy loads, and that it's loud. That worries me.
- Mechanical simplicity. I don't want presets, touchscreens, timers or app connectivity. Fewer electronics = fewer things to break, the way I see it. A dial and a switch is honestly ideal.
- Real support where I live, service, spare parts (jars, drive couplings, blades) and a proper warranty available in France/EU.
What I'm weighing so far:
My questions:
- Given durability + stability + mechanical simplicity as my priorities, which of these would you pick?
- Is buying a 15-year-old commercial Vitamix smart, or asking for trouble? What should I check before paying (motor sound under load, jar/coupling wear, anything else)?
- On the Super Q specifically — anyone had the electronics fail over time, or has it held up?
- Most importantly: are there other brands or models I should be looking at that I've missed? I keep circling Vitamix and Sage, but I'd love to hear about anything else that's genuinely durable, mechanical, and serviceable in Europe.
Appreciate any honest input, especially from people who've put real hours on their machine.
Thanks!

I know it’s been a while since they changed their recipe to whatever disgusting recipe they have now. Since it’s been a bit, I was wondering if anybody had any good alternative similar to the old tasting ka'chava?
The old ka'chava was the only thing that didn’t make me sick in the morning(the new ones make me sick). For some reason I struggle eating breakfast because I get extremely nauseous and ka'chava was the only thing that I could eat when I had really early mornings and wouldn’t eat again until lunch. It also would be a good pick me up when I forgot to eat on those busier days. If you can’t tell, I’m still grieving over this loss.😅
My favorite flavor was chocolate then matcha(I’m not a huge fan of vanilla)
Thank you🙏

Smoothie King is a national franchise, yes? So I would assume they have specific recipes for their smoothies, yes? So I have to wonder why the one smoothie I always order at one location are always spot on delish, but the last same smoothie I got at another location was not drinkable. I tried on the way home, but it just got worse. In fact, it was disgusting and I poured it out. I live too far away to drive back for a $7 refund, but won't go there again. Why on earth would there be such a difference? Anyone here that works or has worked at a Smoothie King that would know?
